"Well, as long as the accident in question is not a dye job...then I still must be impressed!'' Steph stated with fervor. Steph brought out the book that she was preparing to put the picture of Aaron into earlier. "This is my Big Book of Blondes in Bombur. It is a book full of examples of blond people in every region I have travelled in."

"I was working on including a picture of Aaron in there, and I want to include you, too, since...for whatever reason, you really are quite blond. That is why I asked if you possessed a camera or photograph---so I could have your blondliness encompassed."

Suddenly, a compulsive idea arose. She thought about it, not dismissing it entirely, but thought she should come to know Lumin more until she offered the idea to him---the concept might offend him, considering his condition, despite how used to it he seemed to be.

Steph took the wallet-size photo, opened her book of blondes, and slipped the photo into a transparent sheath. She admired how the photo brought out the sheer blondliness of Lumin's hair momentarily before returning to the subject.

Now seemed like a good time to present her idea.

"Bastion City?...could I come with you?" Steph asked. "I have heard of Trainers travelling together on journeys before, and I have never done that before. Besides...I am not familiar with Bombur geography."

Steph proceeded to cut the rest of the picture of Aaron out from the poster with the scissors. She must not forget about that task, so Lumin could reply while she fitted it into the book.

Steph predicted that Lumin might not like her suggestion, although she presumed his brief reeling was due to another reason than the one Lumin actually was thinking of---that Lumin did not want to accept a person guiding him in his handicap, andthought he could take care of himself enough.

"Usually I follow a route down its course, taking note of the signposts...but maybe there is a map I could use here."

"Here," the nurse, strolling by, helpfully procured a map to them. "Most Trainers use the map on their Pokedex, so I have not had much use for these lately."

Oh, I left my Pokedex with Aaron, Steph thought. I wonder if he has upgraded it yet...

Steph was not sure whether to accept the map or not, but since she would not know when Aaron would be able to give her upgraded Pokedex to her, she decided to take the map anyway. It would not occupy too much space in her bag, anyway.

"Thank you." Steph politely told the nurse. Steph unfolded the map. "First, we should go to Route A. Then, Decorus Woods, onward to Route B." Steph was a little puzzled as to why the routes were named after letters, rather than numbers.

"You are ready, are you...?"

Steph, appreciating how to-the-point Lumin was, rushed after him towards the door just as it opened. Steph bumped roughly into a Trainer with a Tiqual, tumbling onto the ground onto her hands and knees, and no doubt knocking the Trainer over in the collision. First the bird Pokemon forcefully deposits a Tiqual on my head...and now someone bumps into me, Steph thought.

Steph rose, her Sableye gazing at her with concern and scampering over. "Sable...?"

"Sable, Sableye. Sable sable..."

"Yes, that does seem interesting." Steph replied. Trying not to feel indignant from the collision and the now-dull pain to her skull, Steph introduced herself to the Trainer.

"My name is Steph---I hoped I did not disturb you; we were leaving now."

"I do not dislike them in general, but...Sableye's lack of weaknesses intrigued me, so I added him to my team." Steph told Cyrus. "I have never been to Blackthorn City before; at the time the Johto and Kanto regions were...quarantined to prevent Team Rocket's influence from spreading to other regions, and Trainers from other regions could not journey there."

"As for joining us...I think you should ask Lumin." Steph explained, indicating the blond Trainer with a Ralts by his side. Steph hoped Lumin was not bothered by their lingering here; Steph assumed that Lumin might be impatient in this situation, like she would typically be.

Sableye, apparently wanting to introduce himself to Cyrus's Agunni, Isidar, scampered onto the countertop and waited fro Isidar to be healed.
