OK, I've had this idea for awhile and since the suggestions are back up up, I figured I could throw it out there.

My idea is for a (small) evolution chain from a a bug type, which I was thinking would be a small generator bug type into a solar panel bug (light/bug type), a hydro electric bug (water/bug) and a wind turbine bug (wind/bu) Unfortunately, I'm not very creative, which is why I posted it in community works of course. So, I'd really appreciate it if you guys could add some ideas to make this more realistic. thanks

Slakoth drinks a Red Bull, causing it to get hyper and evolve into Vigoroth.
The caffeine rush ends, causing Vigoroth to evolve into Slaking.

I could help. I am currently busy with something else through, but you can expect some concept art from me on this subject (specifically on the Solar Panel bug. I like Solar panels in Pokémon designs) when I can.

Branched evo... I like it! Here's some basic information I came up with:
Genericket
Bug
Unknown Ability
Evolves into Solant when levelled up when holding a Prism
Evolves into Hydrug when levelled up when holding a Mystic Water
Evolves into Turbee when levelled up when holding a Kite

Solant
Bug/Light
Solar Panels
Evolves from Genericket when levelled up when holding a Prism

Hydrug
Bug/Water
Water Absorb
Evolves from Genericket when levelled up when holding a Mystic Water

Turbee
Bug/Wind
Wind Absorb
Evolves from Genericket when levelled up when holding a Kite

I like how the Water/Wind Absorb worked out. So whaddya think?

Interesting idea. If they're various types of generators, it might make sense for them to have an electricity-based ability and some Electric moves. Actually, it might make sense for them to be part Electric instead of Bug, but you seem to be pretty fond of the bug concept.

That's the point. They're based on the various kids of generators, so they should have typing for it. They could learn Electric type moves by level up, but not too many. I think genericket's ability could be Volt Absorb.

Genericket sound good, though there's already enough cricket Pokemon. Maybe beetles instead?

There's already enough grubs. We have Grubva, Sov'ws grob, and another one somewhere... compared to crickets in which we have the Kriketot line.

Don't forget Mimicket, albeit not officially a PF Pokemon. Yeah, I got nothing so far. the solar panel one looks good so far.

Since the design is fine with you, some possible moves (I know it is a Light-type, but I generally have an aversion to Light-types)

Sounds good to me. Also, perhaps it's ability could be similar rain dish, healing it during heavy sun. Perhaps it could learn Sunny Day, too.
