I can help you out a lot here:

A secondary ability could be Swift Swim or Water Veil.

For gender differences, I bet you may be able to find a style of woman's surf board.

Gender ratio should be 75% male, 25% female

Egg moves/TMs/HMs/Move Tutors are now chosen by staff now. So no need to worry here.

It should be one of the pokemon that learns surf by level up. Brine could be used to.

It could also work well with Aqua Jet.

I think it should learn Surf by level up. Kinda like Goldeen and Seaking learned Waterfall in Gen. 1 and 2.

Flarsable you are correct goldeen still learns waterfall by level up. one thing gelatop you might want to fix the coding for leviafloats image because I cant see it. I don't know if anyone else is having this problem.

I haven't seen their moves list in a while thats why I only list Gen. 1 and two. Forgot about Rayquaza learning fly too.

The new dex format is pretty easy, it's just two lines of 85-100 characters each. Revised version of the dexes:

SURFLOAT enjoys surfing on waves and getting big air. It playfully flips its trainer off its back. (Diamond)

SURFLOAT has carried trainers across the sea since ancient times. The surfboard was based on it. (Pearl)

LEVIAFLOAT can do amazing feats with its incredible strength. It easily swims through tidal waves. (Diamond)

I think you might need some more info on LEVIAFLOAT though. There's not much data as is, and referencing the evolution in a dex is always kind of annoying. Any thoughts?

Just a suggestion gelatop maybe you could make leviafloat water/ dragon it is a leviathan after all. Im working on a movelist as i write ill post it up shortly.

It isn't a leviathan in my opinion, it's name just comes from it - Leviathan doesn't necessarily mean sea monster - it can also mean "giant." Besides, these guys are not like dragons at all.

Alright, since Tozokian brought the idea up, what type-combination do you think Leviafloat should be: Water/Wind, Water, or Water/Dragon?
