This is my first idea for the PokeFactory. Ive got just about everything but need major help with the move lists and could use some help with the dex info. I have sketches of them but have yet to scan them onto my computer.

SPIKRIST (SPIKe + corruption of crest)

Spike Crest PKMN

HT: 2"6" WT: 34.8 lb.

Ability: Rock Head

Type: Dragon

EVO: Level 37 it evolves into KRESTILE

Moves:?

Dex Info?

KRESTILE (corruption of crest + repTILE)

Jewel Crest PKMN

HT: 5'2" WT: 87.6 lb

Ability: Rock Head/Intimidate

Type: Dragon/Psychic

EVO: Level 52 it evolves into UBERIDGE

Moves:?

Dex Info:?

SOVERIDGE (SOVEREIGN+ RIDGE-referring to its ridged back)

Massive Jewel PKMN

HT: 7'9" WT: 363.4 lb

Ability: Intimidate/Pressure

Type: Dragon/Psychic

Moves:? Zen Headbutt should definitely be in there

A few things:

1. Abilities should be constant for all pokemon in an evolutionary line.

2. I'm not fond of the name UBERIDGE. Uber is a "1337" term, which I believe shouldn't be in names.

3. For the moves and dexes, just give us a concept of "what makes them tick." We'll figure out the rest

Abilities really do not have to be constant through an evolutionary line. Teddiursa/Ursaring have Pickup/Guts respectively, Phanpy/Donphan have Pickup/Sturdy, all Eevee evolution forms have something else than Run Away/Adaptability, Bagon/Shelgon/Salamence have Rock Head/Rock Head/Intimidate, Poochyena/Mightyena have Run Away/Intimidate, Horsea/Seadra/Kingdra have difference in that Seadra is the only one with Poison Point... need I go on? The ability don't have to fit the whole line, it has to fit the POKEMON.

Agreed on the "uber" though, it doesn't sound good for a name.

Perhaps if Uberidge is black or primarily black in coloration, you could call it Umberidge? (because calling it Umbridge would bring Harry Potter references to a terrible lady with kitten plates.) Or Ultiridge. Not preferred, but 'ultimate' is a similar word, that also starts with U, to 'uber'. As for a Psychic-type physical move, Zen Headbutt should do well enough. If Latios can learn it, it could be applied to other, not-particularly-head-related Pokémon.

The abilities are intended to fit the individual stages, but any recommended changes would be considered concerning that. I was always a fan of the name Uberidge but I will see if I can come with something better. How about Soveridge (SOVEReign + RIDGE)? or Supridge (SUPReme + RIDGE)? would either of those be good. Zen Headbutt sounds great, especially because my sketches of the chain all have large crests on their heads, ergo the crest in the names of the first two.

I changed it to Soveridge and input the Zen Headbutt idea. I have a basic first attempt at the dex info, here it goes

Spikrist:

SPIKRIST's rock-hard crest on its head is its most effective offensive and defensive weapon.

SPIKRIST has highly advanced predatorial brain functions which help it ambush its enemies, despite being physically small and relatively weak.

Krestile:

The highly evolved predatorial brain function of KRESTILE became so advanced that it gained psychic abilities, the power of which is contained in its forehead jewel.

Many KRESTILE often hunt together at one time in order to more effectively out-maneuver their foe(s).

Soveridge:

SOVERIDGE is a very territorial POKEMON. It often becomes enraged when intruded upon and uses Zen Headbutt to drive away the trespasser(s).

The large jewels on the forehead and tail of SOVERIDGE enable it to exert large amounts of psychic power in many different manners.

Zen Headbutt should not be mentioned specifically in the dex, in my humble opinion.

I should remind you that the Community Works forum is for fleshing out general idea, not adding finishing touches to a pokemon you've already come up with a lot of information for. If you leave this suggestion in this forum, you won't get any credit for the submission. Instead, if the pokemon is approved then the creator will be listed as "PF Community". If you want yourself credited as the suggestor, move it to the Suggest a Pokemon forum; people can help you fill in the remaining elements there.
