So recently on the Creative Projects section, people have been making up their own regions. I want to join in the fun, but I'm afraid I might screw up something, you know, like I do

Is there anything I should know before I try to post?

Lol, don't worry, it's not like there are any rules. Sov just made the statues-in-temple thing and it seemed to work well, so that's what we do now. If you've made any fakemons for your own region, just show them off! I would have made one myself if I had settled on names for my legendaries yet.

As long as there is nothing offensive in your topic, then I don't think you really need to worry about messing things up. Be prepare to get questions and critiques on your region from the members of the forum.

There's nothing formal about it, I don't think?
And, you don't need to actually create or hack a game for your regions.
I originally wanted to make a hack, but later realized that I didn't have enough time. It was fun thinking of ideas, though.
