Otherwise good, but "snowbear" sounds terribly unispired.

A good look in the dictionary helps. Make a mix-match that sounds plausible but is not a straight word or combination thereof:
cub bear small claw snow thick fur fluff white teeth ursine ice

URSMAL(URSine, sMALl)
THICUB(THIck fur, CUB)
FLUFUR(FLUFf, FUR, URsine)
WHICEAR(WHIte, Cub, bEAR)

etc.

Also I has a hunch that Ursnow should be able to learn Superpower. Because well damn, BEAR.

Superpower sounds nice, I'll add it. I agree, I did a horrible job with Snowbear's name. I thought about it for like an hour before just sticking with that XD I'll think about the names for a bit.

Okay, done thinking. Snowbear's new name is Whicub (White+Ice+Cub), pronounced why-sub or why-cub. People are free to keep suggesting names, though, in case I hear something better

Hm... I once suggested a polar bear too, but it got lost when EzBoard was hacked. It was based on a combi between a polar bear and an igloo. If you'd like to, maybe we could combine our ideas into one evolution line? (Mine was a one-stage one, and I always wanted a pre-evo for it.)

I'll think about it... it would make this line a bit more unique. What were they, like igloos with polar bear heads, or polar bears with igloos for bodies? The second one could fit in fine without much change in moveset or ability, but the first might be a bit of a problem...

Yeah, maybe I could have Whicub evolve either into the attack-focused Ursnow or the defensive as-yet-to-be-named igloo bear. That way I wouldn't have to rewrite as many pages in my notebook...

Pokémon Factory Worker

I like that idea, and for the design of the igloo one, perhaps the body could be ice bricks? I was thinking exactly the same thing - it needed to be more unique, and the branched evo gives it that.

For the name of the igloo bear, perhaps Ursigloo (URSa + IGLOO)? I also thought of perhaps Tundursa (TUNDra + URSA) and Maritigloo (MARITImus (species name for Polar Bear) + iGLOO), but they didn't sound as nice...

Ursigloo sounds great! Working on new info now, I'll post it later.

EDIT: Ursigloo is done! Any comments? I tried to make it different from Ursnow, but any other suggestions for that move-wise?

I suspect Ursigloo could learn Barrier, as well as Avalanche.
Ursnow could feasibly use Crush Claw and Hammer Arm.

Those from just a hunch I had

Thanks for the suggestions! I thought Barrier might be a little pointless when Snow Fort has the same effect, but I added Avalanche and Crush Claw. Hammer Arm just didn't seem to fit in anywhere

I had called my suggestion "Igloors" back then - which is a combi between igloo and ours, which is French for bear. Would it be okay to use that name for the igloo bear?

I would also suggest changing the evolution method. How about Whicub evolves into Ursnow at level 32 when ATK > DEF and into Igloors at level 32 when DEF > ATK. (In the unlikely case that they're equal, it will be a randomly determined into which form it evolves.)
This makes it very clear that Igloors is the defensive one, with its igloo concept, and Ursnow is the offensive one. As such, it could be nice to incorporate something icey into Ursnow's appearance as well. To go with its offensive role, maybe its paws could be thick and sharp chunks of ice?

For Igloors, I wanted to use the body of the bear from the Angry Beavers as a base; the pose it is in in this image would make combining it with an igloo work out perfectly.

By the way, corrupting "snowbear" into Snobear could be a possible name for Whicub; the combination of white, ice and cub seems a little too forced as a name to me... An alternative name for Ursnow could be Ursicle (Ursine + Icicle), but it's probably fine as it is.

Good point... I'll probably keep Ursnow as is (Ursicle makes it sound like the grim reaper to me

), but Snobear could work. As long as no one pronounces it Snob ear, it's fine with me.

Okay, I think they're just about done... any other comments? The dex data needs a bit of work...
