The two entries are not different lines of the same entry. One line is the Diamond entry, and the other is the Pearl entry. They can't continue off of or reference the other.

Too many characters. DP-style Pokedex entries can only have 85-100 characters in them. (This includes spaces, puncutation, et cetera)

Pokémon Factory Worker

Hmmm... the evolution method seems off, as Pottite will probably gain happiness before level 35. How about just plain old unhappiness for evolution? Also, Potrot as a name is a bit too obvious a combination IMHO. One more thing is that the design makes it seem like Ground/Grass would be better because the pot looks like clay. I really have always been intrigued by this pokemon's concept though.

How about leveling up while holding a Big Mushroom? That seems fitting...

Also, about the types, why do you think Ground would be fitting?

Is there any text that mentions that Cherrim changes form due to its Flower Gift ability? It could be that the forme change is inherent, like Giratina or Rotom?

EDIT:

Bulbapedia confirms this

Flower Gift raises the party Pokémon Attack stat and Special Defense stat in sunshine by 50%. Cherrim, the only Pokémon to have this ability, also changes forms in sunlight. While usually appearing as a closed flower, the Pokémon will spread its petals in sunlight; however, this is not caused by Flower Gift.
