I don't really have any actual ideas, but I've always liked the Magic type. My personal favorite of the PF types.

For the last time, it's not a triangle. And I don't care wether I've said it before

The Dark type's immunity to Psychic breaks the triangle, and is the only breakage. Still broken.

I'm not sure why, but I voted Rock.

More like the only ones thta count. Nintendo would never ever, not even after the company went down because of it, make a traingle that's not equilateral. Somehting like that.

Nope, a triangle is formed when three types form a beat-each-other cycle: Psychic beats Fighting, Fighting beats Dark and Dark beats Psychic. Triangle formed.
Granted, one has way too much advantage (dark´s immunity to psychic) but that doesn´t alter the cycle in any way. CYCLE is the key word here.

Given that they pretty much half-broke it with fourth gen starters: Torterra has Eartquake for Infernape, who has Close Combat for Empoleon, who in turn doesn't take super-effective from Grass...

...it's not really that far-fetched for it to be Dark-Psychic-Fighting anyway.

We did a pretty good job with the Grass/Psychic, Fire/Ghost and Water/Wind triangle, didn't we? XD We spent a LOT of time getting the starters' triangle to work, both type-wise and concept-wise.

Although Hippache does have a slightly bigger advantage over Djignitor due to Wind's 4x advantage over Fire/Ghost. About as close as you could hope for otherwise, and they're all very unique ^_^ I especially like Nutreed, where did that come from?

Cycles go both ways, but the other way is not very effective. And, like MS said, the only triangles that Nintendo gives a crap about are the equilateral (goes both ways) ones. It does alter the cycle.

I'm not too very happy (not sad or mad, just not happy) that the destroying of an exclusive type-combo made by Nintendo has transferred over here, with Infernape/Monferno & Hippache/Hippover killing the exclusiveness of Blaziken/Combusken & the Windpole line, respectively.

EDIT: Oh and ShinE, you guys did a very well done with the types! That is an example of a well-done equilateral triangle.
