So, just to get this straight, this pokémon you sighted is a pre-evo of #PF030 Pyrefly? If so, sounds good! I've always wanted to see a larva and a pupa stage of Pyrefly (I even suggested them once, but those weren't good enough).

I'd like to toss out possible names for such larva and pupa stages:
Larvyre (Larve + Pyr/Fire)
Pupyre (Pupa + Pyr)

I think we should call the catterpiller Larvyre, and it would be bug/fire, agreed?

@empireomega: On top of the site, there's a menu called "GSC-Style"; just click on that and on the second link since Pyrefly is #PF030. You have browsed through the GSC Archive before, I hope? :P

First of all, yes, I have browsed. Pyrefly just never struck me as a very noticeable pokemon, and I don't have them all memorized yet. Secondly, I'm EP, not Empire. :P I know how to navigate the site, I'm not that clueless. ^^; I've seen the entire archives.

x_X I'm seriously clueless why I got confused between the two of you, well, apart from that your names both start with an 'e' ;P

Anyways, very few members have memorized all of PF's (enormous amount of) pokémon, which is why I included Pyrefly's dex number - #PF030 ;)

I redesigned my concept art so it would look a little more "Hypsipyla". Would this help? (also, do you still want the green spots, or would you now prefer yellow-tan?)

(EDIT: Changed artwork to have yellow spots. Is this better?)

And Flarsable, there's nothing wrong with this being "Transquito all over again". This is a different generation and a larva and pupa stage for Pyrefly would be nice either way ^-^

We reallt need to change Pyrefly's moveset.

Dex Idea!

When a predator comes near it, it spits lava on it, burning it.
It moves quite slow, and often ride their parents for movement.
(I know, they suck. Help us)

Can somebody design the pupa?

Shame no other person has offered to design a pupa. I do not want to be the only person contributing to its design...

Pupyre's shell is made of hardened lava it slathered on itself as a Larvyre.
