Good afternoon to all! I am here at the main Pokélympia Stadium. As you can see, there are blazing fireworks firing right now.

Look at that one! It's in the pattern of Suicune, if you can't tell.

Interestingly enough, the Aquatic form of Pokélyamp, the legend of the Pokélympics, was mistaken for Suicune in the past. That is why the Aquatic Pokélympics are a relatively new celebration, as only 500 years ago did we notice Pokélyamp's Aquatic form.

Enough talk, let us view the great ceremonies.

Coming out from two sides of the stadium are rows of water pokémon. Leading the crowd is none but the great Pokélyamp, in all its aquatic glory.

Great waters suddenly flood into the stadium, transforming it into a huge lake. Look at all those water-types!

Riding on their own Pokémon, come in water-type Gymleaders from every region. I think I see Misty... is that her?

Gargantuan waves suddenly leap up, enveloping all the water types in a huge water spout. And... out come Wallace! The water-type Champion! Cheer for him! WOO!

Wait, what's happening? The middle of the stadium just collapsed. Is it Team Rocket?

No, it's not. Seemingly popping out of nowhere, the grand torch, still locked in ice, rose out of the hole, creating majestic waterfalls. Legions of Pelipper, Masquerain, and Mantine fly with jets of water trailing from them. Well, not the Masquerain.

The crowd of water Pokémon, every species other than the legends, fire great Hydro Pumps towards the torch. And... it's thawing! Under the great pressure of water, the ice breaks, and the torch is revived to its former glory!

Washed under the pure waters, the Torch sparkles and shines. A mysterious power lights up the torch in a great ball of flame, and the dazzling water displays end.

Remember that you can always sign up whenever during this week. Though, you will miss on some events.

Good morning to all of you! We are here at the Pokélympia Aquatics Stadium No. 1, overlooking the event, 100m Freestyle that is about to start.

While the contestants warm up, let's take a look at what's happening at Stadium No. 2. Bob?

Bob: Oh, hey, JDL! What good weather today! The 500m event is about to start. All of the Pokémon look excited!

As this is the first Modern Aquatic Pokélympics ever, I have to say that I am excited as well. I hope Pokélyamp is excited too!

JDL: Yes, yes of course, as I am excited as well.

Bob: That's good.

JDL: Hey, before we start, what are the water conditions today?

Bob: Ah, glad you asked! The pool is maintained at 23 degrees Celcius, which is about 73 degrees Fahrenheit. The Chlorine level is just right, so we won't be seeing any red eyes today! (other than that Sharpedo and Lanturn, of course)

JDL: Good one! Now, everybody, if you'll notice, the Pokémon are now ready to start the eve- What the Edgeworth is that!? It seems to be a Heli-chopper, the cross between a Helicopter and a Chopper. There's something written on it... PielordDX? What does that mean?

Anywhoo, the gun was just fired, and the Pokémon are racing for first. Many of them are using Aqua Jet. And... is Blastoise racing backwards like that? Well, it makes sense, sort of, as its cannons are- Can I have some mustard on that? Thanks- Back to the event, Blastoise seems to be Hydro Cannoning through the pool. It quickly reaches the end, and flips around. But, oh wait! There's Gyarados! It smashes its huge tail into Blastoise, and KO's a few more Pokémon while doing an underwater somersault.

In a fit, Kabutops takes revenge as it Ancient Power's the serpent. Ow!

The only two Pokémon who weren't KO'd or blocked by that Gyarados are Bgreymon's Buizel, Soble92's Floatzel, Sov's Kabutops, and Flarable's Huntail, the latter of which is cowering in the corner from the attack. Who will be the winner!? Will it be the expected Floatzel or its preevolu- Screw that, Floatzel just won.

Now, let us take a look at the 500m event.

Oh, they've already started! The pools at Pokélympia are 50m in length, so these critters need to swim 5 laps before reaching 500m.

The Wailords have won already, as they are almost a quarter the size of the pool.

All the rest of the Pokémon are on their third lap.

While this event is underway, let's take a look at the Synchronized Swimming event. Bill?

Bill: Good afternoon, JDL! Glad you could see this.

JDL: Well... I see a big water spout... with ice shards! It's beautiful!

Bill: Exactly! This was brought to us by Patricol's team. If you'll see, Dewgong is at the middle of the spout, generating shards of ice.

JDL: And... Gorebyss are Huntail are spinning to create the spout! What great teamwork!

Bill: Indeed, indeed. I think it's coming to an end. See that Surskit? Its dance is marvelous, too.

JDL: I see. Well, I've got to get back to the 500m event!

Bill: See ya!

JDL: So, we are back here at Stadium No.2. I don't know why, but the entire pool is filled with chaos... isn't this what always happens? Though I can't really tell who's the winner, I bet someone who watched the event knows. Hello, there. Can you tell us what happened?

Audience member: Hullo. The Wailords were al like whee I am big and they won I think Big Greymon's was first and all like-

JDL: Sorry, it's BGreymon, not Big Greymon.

Audience member: Ah, tomayto tomahto. But then Lanturn was like ZAP! And then all die.

JDL: Um, thanks.

Just to point out a little flaw: Kingdra (my entry in the 500m) are half Dragon-Type which absorbs 1/2 the Electric damage (making Electric a x1 effectiveness type). Other than that, yay! 3rd in two events!

It's another great day today! Hello to all of you!

We are here at Pokélympia Aquatic Stadium No.1, watching the 10m Board Diving event. Bob is in Stadium No. 2, watching the Synchronized diving event, which has already started. Bob?

Bob: Hey there, JDL! Always nice to be talking to you!

JDL: You too! So, Bob, can you tell us who's on right now?

Bob: Hu!

JDL: Haha, good one. No, really.

Bob: Okay, it's this guy... Drufle! His Empoleon looks pretty gentlemanly. His streamlined shape will make quite a splash! Or... no splash at all. Hehe. Get it?

JDL: Yes, unfortunately. How did my team do?

Bob: Not bad. Average, I have to say. Slowking was, ah, slow. And Golduck was okay.

JDL: Don't blink! Drufle's team is on the boards! Ooh, look at those flips. You never know two different types of Pokémon can be SO synchronized. Oh! They made quite a splash in the Judge's hearts. Or should I say... barely any splash?

Bob: Hey, that was my pun. D:

JDL: Okay, the 10m event is about to start here at No. 1. Lesseeeee...

I'm on first! Go me! Look at Sharpedo!

Bob: Hey, just poppin' in. Ooh, that predator looks vicious! And... it's so streamlined!

JDL: Exactly. Sharpedo is not only streamlined like a torpedo, but its skin is also covered in tiny denticles that create hydrodynamical advantages and hurt their enemies. Though, if Sharpedo can survive the attack.

Bob: What?

JDL: Sharpedo may be a quick one, but its Defense stats are extremely low, rendering it a torpedo made of paper.

Bob: Water-proof paper.

JDL: Yes, yes. Look, it's diving! Five midair spins, and it falls back down with extreme speed, all the while spinning and doing fancy tricks with its huge fins. Not bad. And, look at that finish! It's skin really helps!

Bob: Yeah, that's great and all, but I think Buizel there's going to be the champion.

JDL: How so?

Bob: Well, look at it. Buizel has nice, smooth fur, not as good as Sharpedo's skin, but a very useful nonetheless. Its tails can spin at great speeds, propelling itself upwards and "cheating" by sneaking in more moves with the added air time.

JDL: Yeah, I guess...

Bob: Vaporeon there's got a good bet, too. It can melt into water, forming a dazzling display and...

JDL: Okay, I get your point.

BEHOLD! Our last event of the day, takes place at the great Aledi-jay Falls, a great natural sight to the left of Aledi-jay Lake in Pokélympia.

Here is a big rocky cliff, where our contestants will dive off of.

Bob and Bill are here as well. Oh, and that Heli-chopper. I wonder who "Pielord DX" is.

So, Bob, what's the weather.

Bob: Near perfect, my friend! Though, the wind may change at any moment and throw our Pokémon off! We don't want that to happen, do we?

JDL: Oh no, we don't.What's the temperature?

Bob: Pretty high. it's currently 27 degrees Celcius, around 81 degrees Fahrenheit. Water temperature is... around 19 degrees Celcius, or 66 Fahrenheit.

JDL: I assume this is near-perfect as well?

Bob: Yes!

JDL: Look they're starting. Who do you think will win?

Bob: I don't know at this point...

JDL: Okay, the events starts! My Feraligatr walks up to the edge, and looks down. Is he nervous? NO! He is not nervous. How ironic, that Feraligatr has the word "Fear" in its name, yet does not fear? It leaps into the air, forms a torpedo shape, spins, does some fancy moves, and rockets down! It keeps its feet down, because that is safe. That's why you put your feet down! It hits water first! So that's good! Doing that is good! Putting your feet down first is very good, and that's why Feraligatr is doing it!

Bob: Madden?

JDL: Yeah.

Bob: Next up, is Swampert, what will he do?

JDL: He's... already done it.Woah, that is a big splash! And.. I mean it this time. Swampert wure has a big surface area!

Bob: Mmhmm... I'm glad that I don't! *scarfs chocolate danish*

JDL: We'll be right back after these commercials!

Bob: BA-DUMP-TISHHH

JDL: *ahem* The Wailord walks... errr... squirms to the side of the cliff. It steadies itself and... the cliff collapses!

Bob: What was THAT!?

JDL: Wailord looks pretty hopeless... look at all those rocks! They're making-

Bob: HUGE SPLASHES!

JDL: Umm... no.

Bob: Really! Look at the judges! They're amazed!

JDL: So... they think this is part of Wailord's dive?

Bob: Yes. Look at those scores! They're breaking the roof! No, annihilating it!

JDL: ...Did that judge just give Wailord an "Over 9000"?

Bob: Umm... yeah...
