I think Bonzai's placement in the National Dex is odd. Shouldn't he be after Charizard?

Yeah, he should. However, that would seriously screw up the placement of the starter rows, so out of practical reasons I made a very rare exception and placed him near other mountaineous pokémon.

Regarding what soble and Flarsable pointed out, I see it too. It actually happens to me on Firefox, but not on IE. Here, this is what we're seeing:

The small piece of tail never disappears.

By the way, I'm glad to see my updated avatar was well-received... thanks for all the comments ^^

Ah, I've opened Firefox and noticed it too. Odd that IE does show it correctly...

Anyways, I've tried something else with my transparentify website. Does the mini look okay now?

He probably does. I personally don't get why it's weird, but it's probably a matter of taste. The colors I used for the shiny were dictated by the colors of the regular Botispine sprite, though.

The new sprites are still very good. Kudos to all of you staff. I can't wait for suggestions to reopen. About Botispine's shiny form, I do think it looks a bit strange, I can't put my finger on what about it though.

I think it's the eyes turning from white to black. That makes them look less like eyes.

Actually, I think it's because every part of Botispine that was a darker color compared to the other colors used, is a lighter color in the shiny version and vice versa.
The orange turns into a dark blue-grey, while the dark brown turns into a lighter brown, and the dark blue beneath the eyes turns into a bright yellow. This gives the shiny version a completely different look, especially its eyes. I understand that that's a bit confusing, but this weird color pattern does fit Botispine's coloring characteristics.

This is awesome! But I have a question. Considering the fact that the 5th Generation is on the way, are we going to have a low number of Pokemon for D/P, such as 100? Or 150?

Well... yes, that's a possibility, but we'll have to wait and see how things turn out. The truth is that we still don't know how much things will change with the future games, so it's difficult to predict anything at this point.
