"Ha! Taking down these Shadow Pokemon will be totally easy!" Illovue distracted the group of Shadow Pokemon with a Silver Wind attack and blasted through the cloud of scales with a Quick Attack. Illovue blasted through a few of the Shadow Pokemon and hurt them badly. "Ha ha! Too easy!" Illovue's gloating caused her not to notice the Horn Drill atack coming from one of the Rhydon. "Illovue! Watch out!" Rogue pushed Illovue out of the way, luckily, the Horn Drill didn't hit Illovue, but it hit Rogue's right wing and severely damaged it. "Ah!!" Rogue fell to the ground, "My... my wing... it's... urgh...!" Volvue and Illovue rushed to Rogue's aid, "Oh no, he's hurt badly. Volvue, take him away from here! Hurry!" Volvue picked up Rogue and carried him to a safe place. "Hm...?" The Gork general had taken notice of Volvue and decided to leave the other Shadow Pokemon to fight the others. "Hey, you two!" Illovue made gestures at Titan and Kevin, "I'll need one of you to go with Volvue, just in case!"

"Ha! Missed us, big guy!" Illovue's constant teasing annoyed Guhard and made him angry. "Grrr! Take this you pests!" Guhard unleashed a devastating Fissure at the group. The Fissure split up the ground where the trees were located. "W-Woah!!" Illovue lost her grip because of the powerful force of the Fissure and let go of Klutz by accident, "K-Klutz!" Illovue began to panic because Klutz could be killed if he falls into the Fissure. Illovue quickly flew down and caught Klutz, "W-W-Waaaah!" Klutz was crying because of the near-death experiance. Suddenly, Guhard appeared in front of Illovue and knocked her down into the Fissure, along with Klutz. "ILLOVUE!! No!!" Volvue froze in sudden fright, "I-Illovue and... K-Klutz... Urgh... no...!" Rogue could barely speak because he was in so much pain. Rogue then tried to get up, but he lost his balance and tripped, luckily, Volvue was there to catch him, "Rogue, what are you doing?! You can't get up! You're in too much pain!" Volvue exclaimed, "But I... have to... urgh... save... them...!" "But Rogue, you're hurt!" "No! I'm... going...!!" Rogue hit Volvue for it was the only way that Volvue would let go. He then used up the rest of his energy to launch one last Silver Wind. "Take... this!!" It was a perfect shot, it not only hit Guhard for severe damage, but it also knocked him into the Fissure. "I can't... fly anymore..." Rogue fell to the ground.

"U-Um, I don't think right now's the time to be asking questions!" Right then, Kevin unleashed Shadow Rush, a very devastating Shadow move, on the group. "REVENGE!!" cried Kevin as he rushed through the group with a shadowy force. He knocked the group away and spread throughout the clearing, Volvue, however, was thrown near the edge of the Fissure. "Ah!! I almost fell in!" Volvue looked down into the Fissure and all he saw was darkness, somehow, it reminded him of Illovue. "I-Illovue..." He thought to himself, "If... if only I were--" Volvue was interrupted by Kevin's other Shadow move, Shadow Fire. The purple, white, ghostly flame burned and scorched the clearing, along with those in it. Volvue and the others were severely damaged, but the others still tried to attack him, "Ugh, he's... he's unstoppable... I don't think I can... make it..." Volvue used all of the energy he could to stand up, "I'm not... going down like this... gah!!" Volvue's legs couldn't keep him erect anymore, they had given up. Kevin had taken notice of Volvue's vulnerability and thought he would be a perfect [b][i]hostage[b][i]. Kevin slowly walked up to Volvue and laughed silently, "Revenge..." He said quietly with a grin, "W-What are you going to do... with me...?" Kevin didn't say anything, but it looked like he was preparing for some sort of move.
