I'm still a little dubious about this. Yes, they say there will be a new game coming out late this year. Yes, since they're keeping it mostly secret, we can assume it's really big. But I'm not completely sure yet. That Youtube video didn't give much information. But if it's true, I'm a little concerned about legendaries. I mean, we already have the creator of the universe. Where else can they go? And I agree with Gracidea. Some new types would be nice.

Due to the fact that both ones are on the DS, there shouldn't be many changes. But don't forget that this is all speculation. This guy could be a phony.

Alright, let's clear this up.
Firstly - it's not fake, It's on the official website. Secondly, there is no guarantee that this is the 5th gen. It is a new RPG, but it may not be the 5th gen. (It is likely though.) It's been hinted there's new pokemon. It is a new series - so it will not be another PMD or Ranger. It's either the 5th gem or something with an entirely new concept.

I'm not sure if I belive it or not but if it's on the original website, I'll take it as true but if the new Pokemon (if it IS a 5th gen) are like Gen 3 and Gen 4 where, aka crappy, I will not buy it. Seriously.

I watched the beginning, and it is good to note that there is a new Ranger game coming out. It's been long time revealed, though.

If I'm being honest, we all know that they must've had SOMETHING up their sleeves visa vi Legendaries for (I'm going to guess three, but that's being optimistic, so it's probably only like two) generations in advance. My guess is that now that Arceus has been revealed as the end all dimensional craftsman, we're gonna get darker here and see the ultimate Destroyer, the only inherently EVIL Pokemon out there, as well as maybe some other interdimensional legends and probably a oceanic entity. It's set 4 years after DPPt/HGSS (because, if you read the Manga, you know that DPPt and HGSS occur at the same time (just like FRLG and RSE are set at the same time)), so we're probably not going to see the Galactic goons or Team Rocket, but we CAN expect that the villains are going to be over the top and out for nothing less than the world on a silver platter. That said, I think that Nintendo might be scanning places for new ideas, and we might see some very PF-like Pokemon pop up in the games (not EXACTLY the same, mind you, because that would infringe on Copyright laws).

Who has guesses about the starters?

I'm hoping for a squid-like water starter. Hopefully that's what one of the starters will be based off of.

As for legendaries, Arceus is not the "God Pokemon" he is considered the Alpha, and who is Alpha always paired up with? That's right, Omega. So maybe, just maybe, there will be another Pokemon like Arceus that could quite possibly be inherently evil like what Sov stated.

You're right, except you missed Weavile. Just because there's a new Pokemon in the game doesn't mean it's a new Generation. Otherwise Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky would be Generation V because they added two new moves (Wide Slash & Vacuum Cut), a new Pokemon (Primal Dialga), and almost all of the items in the game are new.

Actually, just because there's a new pokemon in the game, while it doesn't mean it's a new gen, it definitely means the new one is coming. Primal Dialga is not a new pokemon - it's Dialga corrupted. All new pokemon introduced are always in the upcoming gen. I believe this is a new spin-off series that will introduce the pokemon of the 5th gen, á la PMD introducing Lucario.
