Deep inside the Manifold Forest lies a hidden temple. Dedicated to the Sun and a legendary being connected to that heavenly body, the temple is known as the
Solar Temple. The Solar Temple is filled with mirrors, which not only cause the entire temple to be brightly lit during daytime, but also function as power
suppliers, since they are able to convert the sun rays into raw energy. These mirrors are made by the Temple's inhabitants, the Speculumin and Speculect;
in fact, the mirrors are based on their mirror-covered bodies.
On a certain morning, the Solar Temple slowly became lit as the sun was rising. Mirroroar was wandering through the Temple, occasionally greeting a Speculumin on his way. The Speculumin often look up to him since he is one of the elite warrior Speculect and one of the protectors of the Temple; they admire Mirroroar and want to become just as strong as him.
This morning, though, Mirroroar was less happy with his role than normally. The other Speculect have chosen him to embark on a journey into the unknown, a journey to find out what was wrong with the world around them. For a few weeks now, namely, Speculect and Speculumin alike have sensed that the Sun shines less brightly and that an evil, mysterious darkness is covering an increasing amount of Bombur. Even though their energy resources are still sufficient, the Temple's solar energy is depleting fast as a result. It is up to Mirroroar to find the source of this lurking darkness and return with viable information in order to make the Solar Temple an impenetrable barrier against the darkness.
Mirroroar wandered on, alone with his thoughts, catching a glimpse of every nook and cranny of the Solar Temple, before leaving it for an undetermined amount of time...
