The titles says it all.

I am actually afraid of ants and little spiders, especially when they crawl on me.
I love watching them on National Geographic or behind a layer of glass, but I don't want to get close.

Algophobia = the fear of pain (VERY acute (meaning its my biggest fear))
Apiphobia = fear of bees/wasps (easily my second biggest fear)
Acrophobia = fear of heights (not so much anymore since I was forced to ride a super-tall rollercoaster)
Umbrophobia = fear of darkness (only when I wake up in the middle of the night without the TV on)
Mortophobia = fear of death (okay, so I suppose THIS is my biggest fear, which make pain #2 and bees/wasps #3)

My biggest fear would be heights, but darkness is a close second. The darkness itself doesn't scare me, but the idea that I don't know my surroundings does.

My biggest fear would probably be darkness. It's not the darkness itself, but I'm always worried that there's a ghost in there. Heights makes second.
Also, I have a way to get rid of anyone's Apiphobia (fear of bees/wasps): Just remember that if you leave them alone; they will leave you alone. If you freak out and shoo it away, there's a higher chance that you'll be stung than if you just do nothing.

Did you know there's a site that lists ALL phobias? I believe it's phobialist.com.

Ummm... I guess... I dislike silence. It scares me. Also, I'm not sure that the bees and wasps trick works - fear can be irrational. Actually, a very good example - Flars, you're afraid of ghosts, right? (I actually am a bit too). Even though I know ghosts don't exist, doesn't mean they don't scare me.

True. How many a times have you watched a scary movie and was frightened at night because of that movie? I was.

That's kinda the point, since almost NONE of the parts of that word have anything to do with the actual fear:

Hippopoto= from the greek Hippos potamios (river horse)
Sesqui = one and a half
Ped= foot
alio = -ilium = The uppermost and widest of the three bones constituting either of the lateral halves of the pelvis.

Being scared of certain YouTube videos is not a phobia, it's just plain being scared of them. And besides, it's supposed to be scary. That's the point of the video.
