For all those Ash-lovers out there, sorry. But I have to say that Ash Ketchum is bringing Pokémon down, DEGRADING, if you will.
Sure, the anime was good. In Generation I & II. I have to say that they made some pretty bad choices in doing stuff. Proof? Well, I have lots.
"Want to come over and play Video games?"
"Sure. What games do you have?"
"Well, there's SSBB, and of course my favorite Pokémon."
"Ew! Pokémon!? As in Ash? That's disgusting. I don't know you."

That scenario is not rare. I witnessed it myself. Just seeing those people, teenagers, get ridiculed... it just agitates me! The "immature" and "cartoonish" aspects of the anime just covers up all good aspects of Pokémon! The phrase "I choose you, Pikachu!" has become a common phrase for MOCKING Pokémon fans. Why? Because it rhymes? Now, that is just bad judgement to turn down anything that rhymes. But really, it does sound like what a five-year old would say. In my opinion. In lots of others' opinions as well.
It may be safe to assume that Pokémon fans all over the world will not be laughed at without a certain A*s Ketchup.
So I said to everyone. "Hey guys! I like to play Pokémon!"
And they all laughed. It's immature! Oh dear!
How many of you have heard comments on Pokémon stating that it is Homosexual? A lot!
"Ash looks g*y. He acts g*y and retarded. Therefore Pokémon is g*y"

Oh, and those of you that are being ridiculed, keep in mind that members of the teenage age group are often egotistic, egoistic, and only care about being "in". Well, many don't realize that all they are doing are chasing models that they will never get! Besides, these popular people are often stoned out and dumb as a brick. Well, not all of them. But lots of them are. So, hang in there! Don't give in!
