Hello again.

Well, it's going to be a long time before the MMORPG is public, and even longer before we'll be able to add Bombur to it. However, we recently added a little Minigame on the website to give the members something to do while they wait :P

We were thinking that we could start by incorporating the Bombur region into this Minigame, as well as having some of the Pokefactory Pokemon as Unlockable icons.

Coming up with ways for PF pokémon icons to be unlocked could be neat. I suppose it would be for the best if the majority of them somehow involved the Bombur Map, like how you can unlock Clefairy by visiting Mt. Moon, Tentacool by visiting the sea near Cinnabar, Grimer by visiting Cerulean City on a Monday, or Electrode by visiting the Power Plant after you've already earned the Voltorb icon and gotten a certain amount of "entries" (what are those, actions taken in the Minigame?)

Entries are your number of posts on the forum. It might be a good idea for us to choose a different word, because almost everyone so far has been confused about what those were :P

Yeah, entries are posts. The PF icons should mostly be Bombur-centered, yeah. But it's up to you guys. You could involve the other four regions if you'd like, or whatever feature on the site you think'd suit an icon. Right now, I'm working on adding the official-Pokemon icons (1-493), but you should be able to get an idea of the ways to achieve them once you're a member.

Also, the mini-game has nothing to do with the MMO, therefore it really doesn't matter which PF Pokemon you're gonna use; they don't have to be the same as the ones in the MMO. Just make their sprite-style mimic the original ones as much as possible (including their dimension range).

I like it a lot. It's very balanced having only 20 moves per hour. I was afraid it would be hard to level up - not so. It's great.

EDIT: I actually have a question. Will you guys, or at least the mods from Pokengine who are here, be taking part n any other part of the PF community? Cus you guys are really creative and it would be great to have you working on suggestions when they reopen, or even join the RPG. What brought this up is just JexT's post in the gag update section.

It's certainly possible. As far as the custom Pokemon go, we're not really that graphically inclined :P. However, we might post on the forum ever so often. I check the site like once a week or so.

Alright, so I tried to fix up the map of Bombur to make it look like the other ones. I aligned all the towns/routes to a 8x8 grid, and I'm pretty sure I didn't remove any towns. All the towns are 8x8 squares, instead of a rectangle. Can anyone check it, and see if I skipped anything important or changed something I shouldn't have? This map will be used in the MMO as well, so it has a pretty high priority. Also, we really need a list of all the town names and routes. I couldn't really find one. And if the staff has any spare time left, we'd appreciate a compiled list of potential icons.

I have the latest version of the Bombur map, so I will check this one on any errors ASAP. Along with that, I can also provide you with a list of the town names, names of important spots and the routes.

One quick question: the top left "sea route" was actually colored dark blue on our map. We did that because it is a diving-only area. Is that workable?

I noticed. I made it that way because Dive isn't part of the RPG as of right now. I'll darken it again if you want, though it'll just be considered another route. Thanks. And note that each square can only have one name. Which would be the more important one. Eg, Fuchsia City/Safari Zone; Fuchsia City would win.

In regard to the routes list, the staff definitely have a list they use for the Free Spirits, + they have all the gym leaders thought out... so they can help with that.

...come to think, they could have told you that. Oops.
