This is more of a question for the staff. I was wondering if there is any possibility of using the Pokemon and other content from the Pokemon Factory in another place (with permission and credit, of course).

We are currently working on a Pokemon MMORPG ( http://www.youtube.com/user/Pokengine ). It'll still be a while before we are ready for this, but once the engine is complete, and we have the other official regions done, we were thinking of putting in Bombur as a custom region. What I need to know is if that is at all possible.

If it is, I'd also like to know if the Pokemon Factory staff would be interested in helping us out with Bombur when the time comes. We want to make sure that we create an accurate representation of it.

Of course, like I said, it will probably be a while before Bombur is created (most likely over a year from now). However, we could always start working on it little by little, like the maps, until more diverse aspects of the engine are finished. With what's done so far, we're at least capable of putting together maps that you could walk through. No NPCs, or Pokemon encounters or any of that yet, though.

Due to the resolution of the game, we'll be using FR/LG, or R/S/E sprites. DP sprites are too large.

However, we may still revamp some of the older G/S/C PF Pokemon into R/S/E style, and even try to polish up some of the R/S/E sprites.

Some of the new PF Pokemon are evolutions of old G/S/C ones (like Phantomb -> Phantrough, and Marline -> Xiphence), so some will definitely have to be done.

Wait, will you use all PF Pokemon? Because that's 550 Pokemon. Which is a lot. And that's excluding official Pokemon that PF Pokemon evolve to/from and any other officials you might want. Also, will you use Specials (SEs)?

We'll probably only use about 100-150 of the PF Pokemon. Won't use any specials, with the exception of one or two of the Classic Reborns, and the new Castform formes.

There were only two Reborns, and both are legendary Pokemon who control the Shadow Pokemon (Exodus is the leader, while Gork are more like genrals)

Hi, I'm... Hm. Ah yeah, Jext. I'm part of Pokengine as well (coder/founder). This collaboration is going to be awesome indeed. I saw someone mention Shadow Pokemon before. Luckily, Pokengine has Dark Pokemon already, which are almost the same as Shadows, so that shouldn't be a problem regarding PF's official story-line. Speaking of which, we will try our best to make it so PF's story will fit into the MMO, no matter what they thought/will think of. I don't even mind doing some extra coding just so PF's story works out. Same goes for moves/abilities/items, etc. Adding such things won't be a problem at all, seeing as I programmed 24 official abilities yesterday. So, expect to see a lot of PF's original content! If anyone has any more questions, feel free to ask them as I'll help Andrew answer them.

I have a question: Is Bombur going to be the only non-official region used? Also, are you using all 4 official regions with all 493 official Pokemon?

As of right now, we've got all 493 Pokemon. And yes, when creating your account, you're able to choose between all four official regions. Custom regions... Bombur is the first one right now, but I wouldn't mind more.

Well, we were playing with the idea of having custom Pokemon. I decided to Google Search to see if I could find any artists that might be skilled in making custom Pokemon other than revamps/hybrids/recolors/etc.

I came across Pokefactory, and upon exploring the site further, I saw that you guys had more than just a bunch of well made custom Pokemon, but also new moves, abilities, items, and an entire planned out region. Seemed like a good opportunity.
