"Idiots! You scared him off!" roared Skuller as he leapt down from the tree.

"Not my fault!" protested Ryan "Stupid Ty ((OOC: Short for Tyrant)) stepped on my foot!"

"Hey you weigh more then me!" snapped Ty.

"Shut up both of yas!" snarled Rick.

Monty peered into the hole. The Charmander was crouched in the hole. Montys kind nature shone through as he spoke to him. "Hey kid. Sorry bout that, we're not going to hurt you. Names Monty, yours?"

"Charmander." The Fire type answered as he clammered out.

Skuller glared at Charmander but looking at the innocent Pokemon reminded him of his lost youth.

"Hey, sorry bout that." he grunted. "I'm Skuller by the way. Tyrants the Umbreon, Rick is the Farfetch and my brother from another mother and that's Ryan the Mightyena."

Charmander stared at the tough looking Pokemon. "Don't hurt me." he then said.

"Nah!" Skuller said. "That map won't even get me an Oran Berry on the Underground."

Charmander looked confsed but no-one bothered to explain the Underground to him.

"Hey kid." Skuller said again, "We arn't the only bandits in the woods. So I rekon you should come with us, we'll keep ya safe."

"Shadow Digletts? I've never seen a Shadow Pokemon here. I thought they were just a myth." Skuller pointed out.

'Magic Crystals?' He secretly thought to himself, 'Hahahaha! Jackpot!'

He picked up Charmanders map and examined it "It appers this is not an ordinary map. It's a treasure map."

Charmander was so shocked, he stopped crying. Rick gave a sqwack and yelled, "Yeah! A treasure map!"

Skuller rolled the map up and told the group, "Let's head back to base and examine this properly."

About 10 minutes later...

The group of six reached a large tree growing into a cliff.

Offering Charmander a ride, Skuller leapt and grabbed a vine and swung down into the cave in the cliff face. Rick flew in, Ryan swung in with Ty on his back. Monty slithred in through a hole in the roots.

The cave underneath was filled with stolen loot. Human clothing, berries and other food, cash, electronic items that were broken and used TMs. Beds made of foliage were stuffed in the corner.

"Now... " Skuller began to say, "Where would this map take us Charmander?"

"Good one kid, you look the part." Skuller smiled, he rarley smiled over anything anymore.

Pushing a root out of the way to reveal a secret escape burrow, they clamered out. The group began to set off in the desired directions while Skuller and Charmander dawdled looking at the map.

Suddenly loud voices were heard.

"Sure this is the place? squeaked a tiny voice.

"Yeah." boomed a voice.

Skuller swung his bone around and growled feircly, "What's it too ya? I'm Skuller and this is my friend Charmander."
