just to varify the choices, I will post the second sprite of HGSS bulbasaur and ivysaur.

Agree. I like the sprites for HGSS in general... It seems a slightly different style to me. More stylized, I guess I would say. A prime example of this is the Mewtwo sprite.... It also seems to me that outlines might be a lighter shade in general than the old ones... I haven't tried to verify this, but at first glance that's what it looks like. I like it, as it gives them a sort of... faded... natural... look. I don't know what I'm talking about. ^^; It brings some nostalgia though... For those who haven't played GSC, look at the sprites.... they're only e tone in the body. It's quite an interesting (and bad) style, that I think was caused not by the spriters, but by some limitations on the game...
