I don't remember them in the Hoenn Dex.

That's because they weren't in the Hoenn Dex, it was after you beat the Elite Four and recieved the National Dex (or the RSE equivalent) that you recieved the ability to catch pokémon from previous generations (or trade from games like FRLG and XD), but what I think Bgreymon meant was that the sprites that he used all came from the same generation (RSE).

That was my point. Nidorino and Charmeleon aren't indigenous to Hoenn (aka R/S/E) but they are to Kanto (aka FireRed/LeafGreen). That's what I was aaying. You can't get them in R/S/E without trading. Wait, those were the actual sprites from R/S/E (which are different from FireRed and LeafGreen).

@Hazza: Yep, yep, yep! But say what parts each of them gave so others can guess too. I think it's a bit easier that way.
