Isaac nodded and picked up his backpack. "Sounds good. I'm going to head over to the Pokemart to see if the clerk would know what this shard is." He walked out of the Pokecenter, and headed over to the familiar building with the blue roof. He opened the door and looked inside. The Pokemart was still the same as when he bought his supplies before he met Nova and Chris. Isaac saw the clerk working behind the counter, as usual. "Excuse me," Isaac said. The clerk, surprised, bumped his head on a shelf. He rubbed his head and turned around. "Oh, hello. Do you need something?" "Yes, I was wondering if you could tell me what this is." Isaac pulled the shard out of his backpack. When the clerk saw it, his eyes opened wide. "Is... is that a Green Shard?" Isaac, confused, looked at the piece. "I guess so. Is it special?" The clerk nodded quickly, as if very excited. "Tell you what, you give me that and I'll give you something special." "Um... I guess so. Here." Isaac handed the small piece to the clerk, who stole it out of his hand like gold. He then turned around, rooted through a box in the back, and handed a small greenish rock with a leaf imprint on it. "Here, this is the best I've got." Isaac knew what it was, but couldn't believe it. "Thank you," Isaac said, and then he ran out to meet with his friends.
