Pokémon Factory Worker

Hearing someone yell, Aaron looked around a computer he was sitting at, then stood up when he saw someone on the lab. "Hello there!" he said. Are you here for a pokemon?" he asked.

Yeah, there's a bunch of guys out there and i need a pokemon to fight them. Preferrably a Xoskillitin. So where's Prof. Idaho?

Aaron was a bit surprised to hear the boy wanted to fight a lot of people already, but didn't let it show. "Prof. Idaho is away at the moment," he responded. "I'm his aide, Aaron, and I can help you with whatever you need." He stood up from his computer and walked over to a couple tables with groups of pokeballs on them. "Now, since you already know which pokemon you want, just choose one of these, then open it up so you can meet your new pokemon," he said as he pointed to one of the groups of pokeballs.

He looked around very carefully, inspecting each pokeball. " you probably get asked about idaho alot, don't you?" Chris said picking up a hot pokeball. "this one!" he said. " you're probably also wondering 1) why they are wanting to take me down and 2) why i'm going to fight them." Chris said smiling. "well, I've been picked on alot by these dudes. So, one day i got mad and exploded their bikes, it went Kaboom! they want revenge, so do i." He looked up to see Aaron's face.

Pokémon Factory Worker

Aaron stared at Chris for a moment, quite startled now and wondering whether it was wise to give him a pokemon after all. Were there rules against giving a pokemon to someone with demonstrated violent and destructive tendencies? "Um...that wasn't very smart of you..." he said awkwardly before quickly changing the subject. "But yes, most everyone who comes in asks about Prof. Idaho. Now then, you still need to open your pokeball to see what kind of pokemon you got."

"Xoskillitin! Go!" the pokeball snapped open to reveal a startled little creature."Tin! Tin! Xosillitin!" It cried. It scurried over to Chris's leg and bit it. "Oww! You're going to be a great companion!" Chris said stroking it, not effected by it's fire. "I'm actually not a bad kid, I just, have a fuse." Chris said standing up. "So, what's Prof. Idaho like? I heard he was really nice." Chris said, now tickling his Xoskillitin.

"Yeah, he's nice, I'm learning a lot form him" Aaron replied. "Now then, if you want to learn a bit more about your pokemon, just return it to its pokeball and place the ball on that scanner." He pointed to a machine in one corner that had a slot for a pokeball and a screen on its front.

He recalled his new red friend back and gave the ball back to Aaron. "So where did he go?" Chris askedtwidiling this little string thing waiting for the results.

Pokémon Factory Worker

"He's away on official PF League business is the only answer Aaron would give, as he placed the pokeball on the scanner. The machine hummed for a moment before the screen lit up with some information:

XOSKILLITN
Male
Fire/Poison

Moves:
Scratch [Nrm]
Scratches the foe with sharp claws.
Leer [Nrm]
Frightens the foe with a leer to lower DEFENSE.

Once Chris had enough time to read the information, Aaron handed him his pokeball back. "Now before you head out, there's one more thing you need to take care of," he said. "Please follow me." He lead Chris through a door at the back of the lab, which opened to a strange room: not only did it have no ceiling, allowing full view of the sky, but it also had a floor of living grass. On the grass grew rows of white flowers, which marked out the lines of a pokemon battlefield. "Your last task shall be a battle against me, your first Gym leader!"

"Alright, here we go!" Chris said tossing out his Xoskillitn, He's probably sending out his Nevermore, hmmm, alright! Got a plan! "Professor! Let's go at it!" Chris said firmly.

Pokémon Factory Worker

Aaron nodded and tossed out his pokeball, which popped open to release a Nevermore. The bird flapped its wings briskly as it landed on the battlefield.

"Nevermore, take to the air and Growl," Aaron commanded.

His pokemon quickly jumped up and took flight, and once it was several feet above the ground it growled loudly at its opponent.

Xoskillitin wasn't very intimidated by the growl, As Chris noticed, "Alright so your going to play that way, Xoskilliton on to the walls! And jump and scratch at Nevermore!" Chris said. Xoskilliton did what it was told, he crawled up the walls and jumped off, swiping at Nevermore.

Nevermore had never seen that particular tactic before and was too startled to evade. When Xoskillitn crashed into Nevermore, the fire pokemon's weight was too much for Nevermore and it crashed to the ground.

"Give back as good as you got, Nevermore," Aaron encouraged. "Tackle it now."

Nevermore hopped to its feet and took a few steps back before rushing towards Xoskillitn, intending to ram into its opponent.

Xoskilliton was caught off guard and thwaked backwards. "Xoskilliton! Bounce off of the wall into the air!" Chris said. Xoskilliton hit the wall, flew up into a spiraling claw ball aimed at Nevermore.

Xoskillitn slammed into Nevermore, knocking the bird off it's feet and crashing it into the ground.

"Peck it while it's close," Aaron called.

Nevermore hopped to its feet and quickly jabbed its beak at its fiery foe.

Chris saw Xoskilliton's distress, looked around and found an oppertunity, "Xoskilliton, Hold it's beak down to the ground and scratch!" Chris yelled.

Pokémon Factory Worker

Xoskillitn's well-timed swipe knocked Nevermore's beak off course and pinned it to the ground long enough for the fire-type to land a nasty Scratch. Nevermore wrenched its beak free, but by then was too weak to take more than a single tottering step before it slumped to the ground, unconscious.

Aaron withdrew his fainted pokemon, then tossed out a second pokeball. "Your turn, Ledyba!" he said as a ladybug pokemon appeared.

"Ledyba, give it a Tackle," Aaron called.

His pokemon chirped cheerfully before skittering towards its opponent all full speed.

Xoskilliton tried evading the tackle, but was sent spining off the the side, Chris and Xoskilliton had the same thought and Xoskilliton came back at Ledyba full speed (after many, many wall bounces later..)
Xoskilliton stopped himself, but stuttered a little, he was confused!

Ledyba watched Xoskillitn ricochet off the walls with its head cocked curiously. When the bouncing arachnid suddenly shot toward the bemused bug, it was caught off guard and didn't have time to get away before it was smashed into and knocked aside.

Aaron saw that Xoskillitn looked confused and decided to take advantage of that. "Ledyba, keep it unsteady, give it a Growl," he said.

Ledyba got back on its feet before growling loudly at its opponent.

Xoskillitin heard a growl, but the world around him kept spinning. He started furiously scratching the air. Chris thought to himself, Uh-oh, this isn't good, "Xoskillitin snap out of it!" He called.
