I've said this before, but I'll say it again.

The essence of an RPG is advancing a story together with friends. This you do by posting in turns, so each player posts and after they've done so, the first player posts again. The greatest fun of an RPG is the fact that you never know what your friends will post. So, it is a surprise to read what they have posted and to read how the story evolves after your friends have posted. In my opinion, this is the biggest charm of an online RPG.
Topics like these are therefore unnecessary, I think. Why do you need to discuss stuff like this beforehand? It spoils your adventure and the surprise of what others have posted. If you want to catch a Growlithe, just make it happen in your next post, and if it doesn't fit in the story yet, just wait for a while until it does and then capture it. I really don't see the point in discussing this all; just have fun because really anything can happen next and give your own twist to the story each time you post ^-^

Damien being captured by the Victreebel was actually one of the better parts of the last few pages of your topic. As you tend do in all such situations, however, such accidents get solved really, really quickly. I don't want you guys to make a large adventure out of every side quest, but some side quests could easily fill a few pages of posts of your topic - and by posts I don't mean posts of just three lines, but lengthy posts.
And of course, posts like Damien getting captured mixes up things a bit. But that is exactly what I meant: it was a lot of fun to read, and to help him out. Solving it in the next post or the following one, however, is not fun, and solving it that fast makes your topic loose its creativity and either forces you to come up with something new continuously, or forces you to post more of the same battle or catching stuff.

Well, I agree with that. It's up to you all to enjoy the adventures others cook up (by advancing them with your own twist), before introducing one of your own. I do feel that topics like these aren't necessary to finish adventures first, though, as long as every one is willing to fully enjoy what is going on, instead of cintinuously wanting to rush forward.
