Today's update is brought to you entirely by the legendary Alpaquick!

In the New Items section you will find several beautiful rocks. These rocks prolong the effects of the Factory's own field-affecting moves. Check them out!

Oh, and by the way, Alpaquick couldn't help dropping something of himself on the page as well...

Wow.... Those are all amazing! At first when you said "dropped something of himself off," I was thinking of something different. Eheheheheh.... But Alpaquick Fur is awesoome! It's a really strong item, and it looks awesome too.

Amazing! I like them all. There is only one complaint I have about the new rocks. Most of them look to me like crappy edits of the original 4. Maybe some redesigning could help.

And I'm guessing that the moves that the rocks effect are the moves that effect Castform's type, right?

I wouldn't call them crappy by any means. And a lot of the items in the new items section are recolors and edits.

Which stones effect which type of castform? I count 17 rocks, but there are 20 types.

@elementalpenguin: Yeah, regarding its droppings, I typed it that way on purpose ;P

@soble: In my opinion the rocks all have a unique design. There is only so much you can do with a rock that has crystals sticking out of it, and I think we have quite succeeded in making them all look original.

Castform's National Dex appearance has Sunny Day (Heat Rock), Rain Dance (Damp Rock), Hail (Icy Rock), Midnight (Black Rock) and Viral Mist (Slimy Rock).
The SE Castform also features Thunderstorm (Static Rock), Flock (Feather Rock), Arboreum (Mossy Rock), Solais (Bright Rock), Sandstorm (Smooth Rock) and Tornado (Eroded Rock), but some of those might end up being redesigned for the National Dex. The Magic-type Castform is for Mirror House, but that isn't a regular field-affecting move, so it has no rock.

Are you gonna make a psychic, ground, bug, ghost, fighting, steel, and dragon castform forme as well, or is it too many formes?

If and when we feel like doing so, we might. With the current workload, Castform forms have no priority, though.

Yes, most of them happened to be edits of the original four, but there were so many edits on the New Items page anyway, and the official games tend to have so many edits (all of the vitamins) , that I didn't think anyone would mind. There is very little you can do with a sprite that is smaller than 25x25 pixels.

The Ground-type shares the Smooth rock with the Rock-type. Magic and Psychic do not have a rock, despite the moves Prediction (and in a way, Mirror House), but those moves do not need a rock and we don't feel the need to make a new move and rock just because of that fact. In other words, please discuss the new items we have now, but do not make up new rocks or new moves because they won't be accepted ^-^

The Mystic Rock
The Mystic Rock is a mysterious rock that was found underground near Vintage City. This rock prolongs the duration of the effects of Prediction and Mirror House from five to eight turns.

Only one problem flarsable. Prediction uses SUNNY DAY, RAIN DANCE, HAIL, and some other move for the effect. And mirror house is like Trick Room, where it isn't truly a field effecting move as it does not replace other field effecting moves. We need two WHOLE new moves.
