Once again, you are forgetting Protogon's dex data. It can only exist in cyberspace.

Silph Co. didn't really make Protogon. Porygon just started spawning them for no known reason.

Porygon, being genderless, can only breed with Ditto...I'd imagine you'd get a Protogon by breeding an older-version Porygon and a Ditto. The 'egg' would be a computer disk of some sort that would 'hatch' when put into a PC; depositing the disk would put a Protogon in your storage Box and leave the disk itself empty as though it had been freshly formatted.

Um, no, that's just not true (talking to Flarsable, not Alpaquick.) Porygon is in the Mineral group along with pokémon like Geodude, Magnemite and Snorunt. Being genderless, however, it can't breed with any of them and must settle for Ditto, the one pokémon who can breed with anything at all except for the pokémon in the "No Eggs" group like babies and legends.
