I never liked the Battle Frontiers, so I'm biased and would pick myself an E4 member instead. My type would be Grass, specialty being Grass types that are infuriatingly annoying to take down(some of them are very durable for having so many weaknesses). Fourth(possibly second or third) member of E4, but not champion. Levels are based off Kanto E4(first gen or FRLG), so higher than third or fourth gen E4 was. These are also pokemon that I have @ 100 on my Platinum, so I know the sets work cruel good... here goes:

When you enter the room, it is dark and humid. But that is just because they forgot their electric bill again, or that is the picture you get from the silent cursing in portuguese you hear from somewhere in the background - this darkness is not intentional. After a moment something clicks loudly and half a dozen huge heat lamps switch on; it is suddenly very warm in the room and you feel like you have to remove a piece of clothing or two. The room is filled with palms, tropic bushes and other pieces of vegetation more suitable for a Hawaiian island than a hall of (disputable) pokemon mastery. From behind one huge palm comes a short, tanned guy with long black hair and a green scarf. He's wearing obnoxiously bright bermuda shorts and sunglasses dark enough not even a Sableye could see through... which is evident in his grace of movement(or rather, lack thereof) when he almost hits face first onto a tree. Suddenly you can also hear a soft jazz music playing in the background. This all probably makes you a bit baffled as to what to expect. But before you can ask anything, he starts speaking.

"Greetings, good [sir/lady].", he then says and finally takes the glasses off: "I see you have made it this far - good for you. You have seen the formidable power of the Elite Four, those three before me were not pushovers. However, this is where it ends." You can see from his posture that he's done this speech approximately half a billion times and he's reciting it completely from memory. "You see, I like Grass pokemon. Sure, scoff away, you probably have all your Flying-, Ice-, Bug-, Poison- and Fire Pokemon ready. Feel free to do so. I am about to introduce you to a not-so well known side of Grass types: that of incredible health recovery and durability. You will have hard time getting my precious babies down, that I will guarantee for you."

A wide, malevolent grin spreads on his face as he knows what comes next: "Without further ado, let us begin."

Last pokemon on sliver of health: "A-a. Not so fast." *uses last Full Restore*
Loss: "Man, I got to admit it, you had it in you after all. But I hope you learned something from this, and that you never underestimate Grass types again."
After battle: "Go on then, the Champion is waiting. I gotta warn you: he/she trashed even my durable mastodonts with much more grace and ease than you did."

I know, I know, an actual E4 would never have that many tutor/bred moves in them. Sue me.

And yes, I do have two Cradily's @ 100. I'm crazy like that.
