Yeah. I heard about this as well. I think he died of a heart attack. May he rest in peace with all the other music icons of our time.

Yes, they're saying it was from cardiac arrest. Some people think it may have been suicide though.

Michael Jackson... I don't really like him, with the drugs ad plastic surgery and all.
His music was good, though, so may him rest in peace. With Elvis?

Yes with Elvis.
I never liked the man because of the drugs, plastic sugery, child abuse etc etc but I cannot say I'm happy that his dead. RIP.

Pokémon Factory Worker

Cardiac arrest is a bit different from a heart attack I think... Cardiac arrest is from an electrical problem in the heart and makes it stop pumping oxygen to the body, and a heart attack is when nit enough oxygen gets to your heart so part of it dies... I saw this awful woman on the news today who kept on going on and on about how he did molest kids even though it was never proven... ugh. The guy just died, I wish she could give some sympathy instead...

What scares me is that he didn't know that he was going to die, nobody did. i mean duh, but it just freaks me out. I could die tomorrow and not know it, these are the kind of things that keep me up at night, give me nightmares and stuff like that.... **shiver** Wherever he is, i hope he's happy. Though he made some Decisions i would have chosen differently on, I'm sure he had his reasons. rest in peace MJ, we'll all miss you, thanks for all the thrills.

There is a distinct possibility that today is your last day on Earth, so you should treat today like no other.
That is a Buddhist belief. What was Michael Jackson ding when he died? It'll be scary if he died while singing on stage.

I was shocked when I heard this, since I really did not see it coming. This death really seemed to fit his whole way of life, though... And to think he was planning on giving 50 concerts. I hope he rests in peace and is no longer lonely as he often said he was.

I also heard about this before I read this topic. HOW COULDN'T I HAVE? IT'S ALL OVER THE NEWS!

Anyways, I'm surprised that CNN had his death unconfirmed for so long.

It's not. Cardiac arrest is just a fancy word for heart attack.

"A cardiac arrest, also known as cardiopulmonary arrest or circulatory arrest, is the abrupt cessation of normal circulation of the blood due to failure of the heart to contract effectively during systole.A cardiac arrest is different from (but may be caused by) a heart attack or myocardial infarction, where blood flow to the still-beating heart is interrupted (as in cardiogenic shock)."

Either way, these are sad times indeed. Without thinking about all of the negative media on him, Michael Jackson was indeed an icon of modern music and will be missed dearly all around the world.

I get the odd feeling that he is still living in a secret place with Elvis and Princess Diana, maybe that's heaven. Even though he's dead, I'm sure is reputation will live on forever.

Everyone in my immediate family says they're the same. And my dad has a doctorate degree. Compared to Wikipedia, the site that anyone can edit.
