Robert was fast asleep when his Mum shouted to him to wake up."Nnnng...what is it?"groaned Robert."You'll be late to reach the Pokemon Lab to meet Proffesor Idaho and get your first Pokemon!"said Mum."WHAAAAAAAAT?"shouted Robert.He got changed,had breakfast and got ready to go.

Pokémon Factory Worker

"Absolutely," Aaron said. He walked over to a few tables in the lab that had several groups of pokeballs on them, then pointed to one of the groups. "Just pick any one of these, and feel free to let your new pokemon out so you can meet it. Then if you'd like to learn more about it, just return it to its pokeball and place it on that scanner." He pointed to a machine in one corner that had a screen on the front and a slot for a pokeball.

"OK." Robert walked over to one of the Poke Balls."YOUTHISTLE, go!
He observed the cute Grass type."Cute!"He tried to pick the Pokemon up, but when he did:"Ow!Hey!"YOUTHIDTLES thorns had cut his hands!
"YOUTHISTLE, that's enough! Come back!" He exclaimed, as YOUTHISTLE returned to the Poke Ball.
He moved over to the machine and placed the Poke Ball in its socket.

Moves:
Tackle [Nrm]
Charges the foe with a full-body tackle.
Leer [Nrm]
Frightens the foe with a leer to lower DEFENSE.

(OOC: I've edited your post with the correct information from the machine. And everyone gets a pokedex, but not until they beat Aaron.)

"Now, bring your new pokemon this way and I'll show you the next thing we have to do," said Aaron. He led Robert through a door at the back of the lab, which opened to a grass-floored room with an open roof. In the grass grew rows of white flowers, which marked out the lines for a pokemon battlefield. "Your last task if you first Gym battle, against me!"

"Okay! YOUTHISTLE, go!" shouted Robert as the Baby Briar Pokemon appeared from its Poke Ball.
Suddenly, a POSTORK flew over the Gym's open roof and dropped a Poke Ball into Robert's hands. Noticing a small, metal lock on the release switch, he decided against using it.
"I wonder if AARON will unlock it for me after the battle?" thought the new Trainer.

Aaron noticed the Postork drop off its delivery. "Just hold onto that, I'll help you with that after the battle. If I forget, just remind me," he called.

The he tossed out his first pokeball. "Here we go, Nevermore!" The dark-colored bird pokemon appeared on the field, ruffling its feathers as it looked over the opponent. "Start with Tackle," Aaron instructed.

His pokemon dashed froward, ready to ram into Youthistle.

The opposing Pokemon,s move got a direct hit on YOUTHISTLE.

"Hmmm..."Robert considered his move for a moment."YOUTTHISTLE, you use tackle as well!"
The Baby Briar Pokemon curled up and chrged ahead...

Youthistle rammed straight into Nevermore, bowling the bird over.

"Nevermore, take it down a notch with Growl," Aaron said.

His pokemon hopped to its feet and fixed Youthistle with a sharp look before growling loudly.

"YOUTHISTLE!" cried Robert. "Try to use Tackle again!"

Still a bit shaky, Youthistle once again slammed into Nevermore. "Ouch, punish your opponent with Peck, Nevermore!" Aaron instructed.

Nevermore got back up on its feet and sped towards Youthistle with a glowing beak.

YOUTHISTLE swiftly moved out the way, but only just in time!
"Now, YOUTHISTLE! Use Tackle and finish this!"
YOUTHISTLE blasted toward NEVERMORE! But would she score a hit?

Nevermore was getting used to the incoming Tackles of its opponent and managed to somewhat dodge the incoming attack. It still was hurt a little, though.
"Nevermore, try one more Peck now that Youthistle is near!" Nevermore once again rushed towards Youthistle with its beak pointed forward...

"YOUTHISTLE! Dodge quick!" Yelled Robert, but YOUTHISTLE was too slow. NEVERMORE slammed right into it!
After letting his Pokemon recover, Robert cried,"YOUTHISTLE! Use Leer!"

Nevermore stepped backwards as it got frightened by the Leer of its opponent. 'It seems to scared to execute a physical attack,' Calleo thought. "Nevermore, use Growl!" Nevermore opened its mouth let out a loud growl.

YOUTHISTLE's Attack had become lowered even more, but NEVERMORE's Defense had also been lowered. However, with numerous Growl attacks and only one Leer.

Robert knew this wouldn't be enough, so commanded YOUTHISTLE to use another Leer attack!

Nevermore again backed away because of the Leer.
"Nevermore, don't let it get to you! Peck it!" the Bastion Gym Leader instructed. Nevermore advanced to execute its attack, but a bit half-heartedly so.

Now that NEVERMORE's Defense was sufficiently lowered, Robert ordered YOUTHISTLE to use one last Tackle attack!
