The time of the Second Exhibition is upon us.


The first sprite today will be the basic form of the Nugran evolutionary line, the titular Nugran, the Standing Pokémon.


His name, much like his final evolution's, comes from Newgrange but also from GRANite. This is because Nugran is based on the standing stones which surround Newgrange. Also much like his final evolution, Nugran has two formes. Today however we will only be showing his Standing Forme;





In this form, Nugran is a plain Rock-type. Our next sprite consists of only 196 pixels, but he packs a mean punch, please welcome the Bounce Pokémon, Picochet;




Picochet is a Steel/Fighting-type who's name comes from pico (a prefix for small, as in picometre) and ricochet (to bounce off something). This is quite appropriate giving Picochet's tiny size and his method of attack; rapid bouncing off his enemies and the environment around him. As such, Ricochet's only move is Bounce and his ability Rebound makes him deal recoil damage against a foe that uses any physical move other than a cutting move (such as Dragon Claw or Fury Cutter), a move that prevents him from moving (such as Bind or Clamp) or a move that throws objects on or at him (such as Fling or Rock Throw, though this excludes Bonemerang). Upon reaching lvl 45, Picochet evolves into Drakastand, the Barrier Pokémon;





Drakastand shares Picochet's Steel/Fighting combination but now has access to a wide variety of Dragon-type moves. Drakastand's name comes from the word drake and the phrase "make a stand". This name suits both his draconic appearance, his sense of justice, his tenacious personality and his very high Defense and Special Defense stats. Although no longer dealing the recoil damage of his prevolution's Rebound ability, Drakastand's defense is still very hard to penetrate.
