I have to type with only my left hand today because my right is still sore from the exam. I wrote 35 A4 pages, the recommended amount is roughly 18.

As you might've read from that page, the system around the A4 is used almost everywhere around the world, except for the U.S. and Canada.

As for why, it's simple logic that the more I write the more material I have to win marks, because the English exam has a positive marking system, I can only gain marks, not lose them.

No, it made perfect sense, lack of understanding does not imply nonsensicality.

What I said was that because of the manner in which the exam is marked, I cannot lose marks, only fail to gain them thus the more I write, the more oppurtunity I have to gain marks.

Yeah, I do prefer that type of exams over exams in which you can lose marks.

So you can gain marks and not lose them. I got that part. But the rest I still don't quite get. I'm only 11 (which, in my case, would be the fifth grade)
