Chapter One: Landing
The boat pulled into the docks, a small cruiser with S.S. Pearl written on its side. The boat, like so many others of its kind, wasn't much to
look at; a small deck, a one-room cabin, and a small engine, now humming quietly as it powered down. The one thing that stood out was a collection of ribbons
attached to the outside of the cabin, although the two people on the boat didn't think much of them. Within an hour, of course, these ribbons would most
likely be stolen, but neither cared about the unavoidable.
The wind, which had been roaring and chilly most of the way over the ocean, was now a calm, gentle whistle. The passenger got off the boat, his brown hair
covering his left eye. Despite the previously cold weather, he was wearing only a sleeveless white shirt over his chest, and his black jeans were ripped and
torn. He looked around, giving away nothing of his feelings. After searching the area, he turned around. "Eric, get off the boat!"
A short boy came off next, wearing a large coat and an extra pair of pants. On his shoulder was a Spinnarak, which didn't look to healthy looking. "Okay okay Sebastian! I'm off, happy?" the boy, Eric, replied.
"No, not really. You won't be able to beat anyone with that weak thing. Bring it to the pokemon center." Sebastian said it in such a
commanding tone, Eric thought for a second Sebastian was his mother. But the way Sebastian said it was so . . . matter-of-fact, so emotionless, so unlike
Eric's mother. "I've studied the map. It's over there. I'm going to the Lab." Sebastian added. "I need a pokemon."
((OOC: Before you ask: No, Trodger, I still have Romulus :P. And Soble, Eric is the guy that brought Sebastian here, so he's gonna be with him for a small
amount of time, okay?))
