BEEP! BEEP!
"Ugh..." a female voice muttered, a single hand emerging from the pile of blankets to try and silence the alarm, without much success. After a few minutes of this, the blankets shifted to reveal a still very tired looking young girl, who shut off the alarm, then began to stretch, arms raised toward the ceiling. Partway through this, the girl froze. She knew there was SOME reason today was special...and suddenly her eyes widened as she remembered, today was the day she'd decided on to go and get her first Pokemon. With this new found motivation, she leapt out of bed, and started getting ready as quick as she could.
It had only been another few minutes when Ryuudra came bounding down the stairs of her home, bag all packed (with plenty of paper and pencil for note-taking) and thrown over her shoulder. She snagged a piece of bread out of the kitchen, and began to gnaw on it, thinking excitedly about all the things she'd see and Pokemon she'd meet. Catching sight of her parents poring over their notes in the living room, she began to have her doubts, she'd be away from home for so long, and who knows what could happen...but no. She'd waited long enough already, she was going to go through with this. And so, with a goodbye to both of them, she was out the door and jogging toward the lab, determination in her light blue eyes.
And then there she was, standing in front of the lab. One deep breath to calm her nerves and she pushed the door open and stepped in, looking around shyly for the Professor.
