((Works fine, Gracidea. I didn't know you were joining us =D, did you talk to Hazzamon about it yet? Otherwise, just make sure you pay attention to the story and avoid conflicting the other players. Oh btw; I wanted to tell you two something. Because it's an RPG, by technicality, we CAN join up and split with other groups. I'd like to team up with some groups every now and then. That'd be fun, but I'd wait 'til we were decently far, and I think 4 characters is enough for this particular RPG anyway.)

As he walked, Shuāng's eyes darted back and forth. Although the roar of fire was monstrous in itself, it appeared to have quieted. The battlers had all but disappeared. He decided it would be best to be quick and concise with his new acquaintance about the situation at hand. He stopped and turned to Gem and when she gave him attention, he spoke.

"You don't realize what just happened, do you..." It wasn't as much a question as a statement, so he continued, "There are... many creatures in the land of Bombur. Humans, monsters, water 1... As you can guess, the world is vast. However, unknown to most humans, there is another type of creature. It is called The Exodus... or Shadows... And this creature spreads its shadows to other pokemon, making them it's shadows in their own right. The pokemon are no longer pokemon. They are... mindless puppets, willing to slaughter those in their path, only fueled by rage and madness. And worse, there is no known cure. Friends, family... I want you to listen, and listen well. There is a possibility that tonight... your family... Won't be alive... Or worse, they won't be your family any longer..." It was cold. The Glaceon knew he was being harsh, but he had to explain. He had to just in case. He watched as the Espeon cringed at the thought, watched the sudden understanding become evident upon her face. This wasn't about being nice. This was about survival. He touched her forehead with his paw, applying pressure so he could be sure she listened.

"It's dangerous... Do you still want to-" He was cut off as a blood-curdling scream echoed into the night. Shoot! Did I take too long?!, he thought, as he dashed forth, not waiting to see if Gem had followed.

He tore down to the tree-house and to his horror, a half-eaten Houndour attacker. Apparently the two had a quarrel, in which one had eaten the other. No time, better hurry! With that, he darted to where he heard the scream to find:

Tox. And not just that. A Jolteon, Vaporeon and several other Eevolutions were being dragged off by a Houndour. The Jolteon and Vaporeon seemed to be unconscious. The Houndoom had finally thawed and was bearing down on Tox - blood dripping from it's mouth.
