looking through pages or going to Serebii.net:
The Secret Key for Pokemon Platinum will be available at most Toy's R Us (which only exists on Oahu in Hawaii - crap) and via Wi-fi connection on April 20th til the beginning of May for locations in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. Preparation is easy.
Wi-Fi Method:
1. Simply head to the third floor of Jubilife's TV building and talk to the director. He will ask you your opinion on TV. Input "Everyone" "Happy". Then he'll ask you about Feedback on TV. Input "Wi-Fi" "Connection". You can now receive the Secret Key over Wi-fi in Mystery Gift.
2. Enter Mystery Gift screen from the main menu
3. If this is the first time using Mystery Gift, the screen should read:

At the next screen, select Mystery Gift. Press the A button to advance." Go ahead and press that A button.
4. Select "Receive Gift"
5. Select "Get via Nintendo WFC"
6. It'll ask if you wish to unlock the gift. Select "Yes"
7. Go to any pokemart and talk to the delivery man in green by the counter to claim your gift.
