If that´s the sphinx´s riddle to Oedipus (sp?), the answer is man: Four legs as a baby when he crawls, two legs during most part of his life and the "third leg" is a cane when it is old. By the way ShinE have you considered giving your clues from the national dex in the form of riddles?

Here's one I remember

A wise old man was sleeping in his basement when the grim reaper woke him up. "I am to take your soul," he said to the man, "and there is nothing you can do about it."
"Please let me live a little longer," cried the man, "I want to see my kids and my grand kids one last time." The demon thought about this request, and then he saw a candle. He lit the candle.
"Very well," said the demon, "you shall live until the wick of this candle smolders from the flame." And then he left. The man never saw the demon again.

What did the man do?

Two men walk up to you on a Sunday and one of them says "I only lie on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays". The other man says "I only lie on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays". Later that week, they walk up to you again and the first man says "Yesterday was one of my lying days". The second man then says "Yesterday was also one of my lying days". What day is it?

Cool! The first riddle someone makes a mistake! Wrong soble.
EDIT: Cacapulse is right, though that really wasn´t a riddle but some sort of experiment and I wanted to check if it was true.
It goes like this: Unless you´re some sort of a über genious (or you had heard of the experiment before) your brain couldn´t have counted the of´s Fs.

I wish I knew how the U.S. currency is assigned but... (looks at Wikipedia) ...lemme try anyway.
Um... A quarter and a nickel? (Two coins, one of them is not a nickel; the quarter).

Here's one:
A man lives in an apartment building with an elevator and a staircase . He takes the staircase on sunny days, but he takes the elevator on rainy days. Why? Both the stairs and elevator are inside, by the way.

I tame the burninators.

Here's how the Slakoth line really goes through evolution:

Slakoth drinks a Red Bull, causing it to get hyper and evolve into Vigoroth.
The caffeine rush ends, causing Vigoroth to evolve into Slaking.
