I... am... making... a region. Everyone seems to be doing it!!! But I'm not making new pokemon. OH NOES!! Thats the staff's job. I am going to be focusing more on towns, gyms, heroes & villains, and a plot. Mind if you guys help me out? This is not going to be in a hack whatsoever, because I am not a hacker.

I like the idea of Team Blackout, a team who wants to cover the world in darkness and totally destroy love, life, and light. They plan to harness the power of Darkrai and its ability to force people to have nightmares. Meanwhile, Team Lucidity wants to 'improve' the world and make it so no one is in pain or suffereing, only they've become misguided, and now plan to use the power of Celebi to change the events of history so that certain bad events never occured. Of course, the main character stops them. Only catch is that you don't catch either of those two pokemon. The leader of the clan will give you a Cresselia (if you battled against Team Blackout) or a Rotom (if you fought Team Lucidity).

How's that for a villain idea?

I like the Team Blackout idea, but I don't think giving away a legendary pokemon is villainous in any way.

No, you see, its because you beat them. After you beat the head honcho of the team, they see the errors of their ways and blah blah blah. Then they get a newfound respect for yu and BOOM! They give you a Legendary they had caught because the figured it would interfere with their plans. You still have to BATTLE Darkrai/Celebi and the leader/admin of the group, but since Celebi and Darkrai are event Pokemon, you can't just go giving them away. Soooooo.... yeah, that's how I figured it.

I'd say releasing the pokemon they see as interfering is a better choice. I always liked the challenge of battling legendaries. And also darkrai and celebi should use their powers against their will, instead of joining forces with the evil teams.

I don't think Rotom's legendary. And normally, you have NEW legendaries playing as mascots, who actually counterpart each other.

Besides, they usually have good brainwashing reasons about why they want what they want. And trust me, most people considered human beings don´t want love, life and light to be destroyed. Even if team Blackout´s leader was a maniac for darkness, he/she gotta had a convincing speech to give his/her team to actually be a leader, huh?
BTW I want to help with ideas for the plot, sidequests and regions & people´s names.

I dunno. Also, I have confirmed Rotom is not legendary. I saw an opposing one in the Battle Factory, and I know that there are no legendaries in the Battle Factory, except maybe the Frontier Brain, the second time.

Erm, I think that was the wrong question to ask, you see my idea was for both criminal syndicates to be in a single version in the following way:
Team Blackout is portrayed as an evil organization who wants to cover the world in darkness, whereas Team Lucent (or whatever you want to call them) has the main goal to thwart its opposing team´s evil plans and are adored by many towns and cities. After you help Team Lucent defeat Team Blackout in some ocassions you get the feeling that they do not like you meddle with their work, and with good reason: After some progress you find out that Team Blackout are actually part of Team Lucent and that the whole deal is just a ruse created by the leader of Team Lucent to gain the people´s support on finding *insertlegendarypokémonhere* and gain total control over the region. In short Team Lucent´s main goal was always power, kinda like Team Galactic, so in the last assault you have to storm their HQ and foil their plans.
Well, what do you think? Also this is derived from sovereignofsilence667´s idea so thanks also.
