Cynthia

Cynthia walked a little in front of Andy, wishing to avoid talking to him.
Cynthia was thankful, but a little bit annoyed, for this boys help.
I don't need any help, She thought to herself, I can take care of myself.
Then she realised that she had freaked out completely last night, and that she shouldn't go along by herself any more.
I'll talk about it with him after he helps me, still thinking hard.
"Cynthia, isn't this your camp?" Andy asked from behind her.
Cynthia turned around and saw that she had nearly walked straight past it.
"Whoops, sorry my mind was occupied," Cynthia replied, feeling embarrassed.
Cynthia started rolling up her sleeping bag while Andy helped her pick up her stuff, which was scattered everywhere.

It took the half an hour to get all her stuff packed up, but soon they were ready to go back to Andy's tent.
Just as they were about to leave they heard growling coming from the bushes.
A dark shape, which seemed familiar jumped out of the bush and charged at the pair.
"Bulba!" it shouted.
"Oh no it's that Bulbasaur again," Cythia groaned.
Cynthia saw Andy tense and reach for his pokeball belt.
"Go Flare!" Andy yelled as he released his Comolten.
The Bulbasaur understood that Andy wanted a fight so it stopped charging and went into a battle stance.
"Flare, use Ember!" Andy commanded, cofident that he would win.
Flare spat small embers at the Bulbasaur but, to Andy's amazement, the Bulbasaur just jumped out of the way.
"Bulba!" The Bulbasaur ran at Flare, who didn't have enough time to react, and Tackled right into him.
Cynthia began to worry that maybe this pokemon was more than a match for Flare, even with the type disadvantage.

Andy

Andy was a bit worried at the speed that the Bulbasaur could move at, but his confidence was unfazed.
"Okay, Flare lets go for a Tackle!" Andy shouted, trying a different tactic.
Unfortunately the Bulbasaur was using a Tackle of its own and they both collided with a thunk.
Flare went reeling back from the force of the blow, while the Bulbasaur looked almost fine.
"What is with this thing?" Andy muttered, having had his plans ruined twice in a row,"Okay, lets switch to the defensive. Flare use Growl!"
Flare emitted a threatening Growl from his throat and managed to make the Bulbasaur wince.
The Bulbasaur retaliated by using Leech Seed on Flare, the seeds growing roots into the solid bits on him.
Flare could feel his energy being sapped away and cried out in pain.
Andy started to worry for his pokemon and so hesitated in giving him a command.
Bulbasaur took this oppurtunity, while Flare was confused, to get in another Tackle.
Flare fell to the ground but managed to pick himself up again.
"Flare!" Andy yelled in alarm, worried for his friend.
"Flare, use Tackle and give it all you've got!" Andy shouted.
Flare charged at the Bulbasaur, gaining strength from Andy's encouragement.
Flare managed to get the first direct hit on the Bulbasaur in the match.
The Bulbasaur jumped back a bit and let out a Growl at Flare.
The Growl pierced Flare's ears and the Leech Seeds sapped his strength again.
"Flare, try another Ember attack," Andy hoped that it would work this time.
Unfortunately the Bulbasaur dodged the attack again, sidestepping it with relative ease.
The Bulbasaur Tackled Flare again, who was just holding on.
Then Flare's health got leeched again and it was just too much for him to handle, and so, he fainted.
"Bulba," the Bulbasaur ran off into the bushes, leaving the clearing behind.
Andy ran over to Flare and picked him up.
"You did well, my friend," Andy told Flare.
Andy returned Flare to his pokeball and then turned to Cynthia.
"Come on lets get out of here," Andy murmured, looking upset.
It didn't look like Cynthia was going to say anything so they walked off back to Andy's tent.
