Anthony finally got up. His body groaned in defiance as he stood. Finally he reached into his bag, and withdrew some bread, which he hastily took a chunk out of. Somewhat revitalized, he returned to the battle.

Seeing Aaron's strategy, he agreed, Lanterror and Alakazam were definitely the main problems, and the focal points of all attacks. He knelt and took a few minutes to think, drawing complex diagrams and formulas in the dirt. Aaron noted that some of the calculations were blatantly off, but those were crossed out within seconds. Finally, he stood up straight, and said calmly:

"We still have some tricks up our sleeves," Although Alakazam now had it's spoons in hand ((Flarsable insists)), it was still unable to free itself from the mud, which didn't have a proper molecular structure to be supported by a psychic attack. The only thing it could possible do would be to use the move on itself, effectively causing self-damage. However, what if the terrain changed for the worst?

"Tyrantorch! Earthquake!" Knowing Skarmory's aim would be unaffected, knowing that all the other pokemon of his would automatically evade it, knowing that Lupup - being a ghost, could easily avoid it, knowing that Romulus' other pokemon were well out of range, and knowing that Alakazam could not escape it's mud prison in time, he had created a fail-proof way of finally unleashing some real damage, and severe damage on the Alakazam, and if he could hit Lanterror, well, that'd be a nice bonus. The earth shook, and not only did the terrain from a bowl-like dip around the psychic pokemon, but because it was waist-deep in mud, the tremor caused extra damage. Myrath instantly used its Water Gun again, and began filling up the basin of earth. It became an inescapable and slowly rising, mud-trap.
