Anthony felt the world shift around him, and the light he had been falling through became dark.
He slowly got up, groaning as he stretched his arms - and saw a faint object fall to the ground. He picked it up, read the note from Huck, and slowly came to grips with the fact that the battle was over. He tossed the small CD back onto the bed, and noted with satisfaction that his pokeballs were next to his bed as well. Out of character for Anthony, he took of his winter clothes, leaving him only in a black undershirt and boxers, when he noticed the bandages on his chest. Lightly grazing them made him wince with pain and so he left them. Looking over his shoulder, he saw Rom in the next room, deep in thought at a table with his brow furrowed, his back turned to Anthony. Anthony lightly stepped over to his bed, careful not to make a sound, and threw on some shorts. He grabbed his pokeballs, his pokedex, and his scarf, and headed out into the forest.

"Sargon, sniff around for some water!" Anthony murmured, the light from the pokeball highlighting his face. He stood just outside of Huck's cottage, ironically in his coolest clothes at the coldest time. His Pokedex read 3:32. Crys was hovering over his shoulder. As Sargon sniffed the air tentatively, his eyes narrowed and he ran off into the brush. Anthony followed with Crys spinning through the air behind him.
Eventually, the three reached a shallow pool branching off from the river, Anthony wheezing from his wounds. He sat down panting on a rock, and took in the sight of dozens of beautiful birds dipping into the water gracefully. The Kolibrisk would dart, shock the water, and scoop up fainted Magikarp to be eaten. But now was not the time to catch pokemon - at least not live ones.
Anthony had Crys freeze his scarf into a rigid tool, which he then dipped into the water, after smearing berries from the nearby bushes. There he sat for hours, occasionally tugging his scarf and petting his pokemon...

The cottage door was thrown open, banging the wall and letting in the harsh morning light. "Rom! Huck! I'm home, and I brought breakfast!" Anthony announced as he trundled inside, covered in freezing water with no apparent attention paid to his wounds, and a pile of fish in his arms. Crys had two suspended on her head, balancing them as she twirled, and even Sargon jauntily walked in with one in his mouth.
Anthony smiled. All was well. (OOC: AGH EXTREME CHEESINESS I KNOW. So Anthony doesn't heal super fast, he's just sort of an idiot. Direct your anger accordingly.)

(OOC: Yeah, I realized that after reading your massive topic. They both don't really think about the consequences, do they? :P Although Anthony Gallo seems to have mellowed out a bit in the time skip. Also, I was so close to putting in something exactly like your last paragraph. Actually, the animé makes a very big point of saying Magikarp are inedible... I didn't want to put anything else in since officially there's no lake in the woods where you can catch pokemon. ^^; I also actually laughed out loud when I saw Huck's accent in that first post.)
