Anthony quickly sprayed the injured Crys with a potion, and watched in awe as the wounds disappeared before his eyes. Never get used to that... He glanced at the dark haired trainer - Rom, he'd said - biting his lip in indecision. A rare moment, that - to see the boy not sure what to do, not as confident. But at the same time, Anthony saw he had misjudged. In the boy's eyes, silent fire burned. Not anger, not exactly. More along the lines of indignation - and that was something Anthony knew e had endless reserves of. And then, at the sides of the mouth, a slight upturning... so little it seemed the boy did not even know himself he was grinning. But Anthony shook his head. now was not the time to be speculating about his companion - "Companion?" he muttered. He barely knew him! Yet... even in his apathy, his utter disregard for Anthony, Anthony found something interesting about the boy... almost magnetic. And so he broke into a run towards his new partner, companion - not a friend... yet. But Anthony liked people. And he liked friends. 

"Hey Rom! Need some help?" And this time the offer was more genuine, mre like the first time Anthony had suggested aid, more innocent and friendly, truly an offer instead of a reprimand. Anthony offered. Smiling. At the exhilaration of the battle, and at the excitement of his newfound trust in Rom.

"Ehm." Anthony took a step back. Even more startling than the fact that Rom had everything under control was the fact that the boy had been nice to him.
Anthony grinned. This was working out.
"Alright, time to do some actual help now! Let's clear out some more of these stinkin birds! Go, Crys! Time to clip their wings. Supersonic!" Crys opened her mouth and let out a piercing screech. Anthony could almost see distortions in the air as the sound moved towards the birds... and did nothing.
"Damn... moving too fast," he muttered. "We'll slow 'em down with Powder Snow." Crys fired a icy blast at several of the birds in her sight, frosting their wings and forcing them to land.
As Anthony silently congratulated himself for this accomplishment, he noticed the other kid going into the bushes. "Hey you! Seth! Use Sargon's nose to help you find whatever you want." He let Sargon down from his arms and instructed him to follow the boy.
