(OOC: Flarsy, the eyes are a female. And here are the group members: Honchkrow, Froslass, Absol, Sharpedo, Phobain (I'll keep him in. I like it. Nice thinking, Flarsy!) and the eyes, whose species I'll disclose at a later date, probably after the Askorun Wastes/ Dream Tower.)

As Draco and Bifrost said good-bye to their comrades, the trudged off towards the north-east, and the Askorun Wastes. Rumor had it that there were strange things that happened there: Pokemon went missing, or turned up, frozen solid in a block of Ice. The older locals said it was the work of Articuno, but the middle-aged and younger locals all said it was the vengeful spirit of a Gardevoir who had perished looking for her lost love, Gallade, who'd been spirited away by Shadow Pokemon. As they continued the trek, it got steadily colder, and though Bifrost, being an Ice-Type himself couldn't feel it all that much, Draco could literally feel every degree that dropped below temperate. "Let's hurry and get this over with. I'm freezing..." Draco grumbled. "Yeah yeah, whatever... You just wanna get out of here because your freaked about the stories." Bifrost teased. "No I'm no-" Draco started, but then stopped. He had heard singing off in the distance. Bifrost heard it, too. "Should we investigate?" Draco asked. "Probably, even though it's surely a trap."

As they got closer to the source of the songs, the wood around them began to become dense with a chilled fog that disoriented them as to which way they had come. Now there was no choice but to head towards the voice. The trees around them began to show signs of having frost and ice on them, and Draco began to look uneasy. "Bifrost, this is starting to get a little creepy..." he whimpered. "I know, but we really need to see what's making that song..." he reasoned. Draco nodded, but didn't move to go any faster. Suddenly, the forest around them disappeared and they were at the edge of a vast, frozen lake. "Whoa..." Draco muttered in awe. Bifrost looked off and saw a female Pokemon in the distance. He squinted and recognized her species. It was a Gardevoir. He began to rush over to her, caling out to her. "Hey, Ma'am! We're here to resc-" but was cut short when she turned suddenly and sent a cold blast of air at him, knocking him into Draco and causing them to fall over.

The Gardevoir cackled and suddenly her façade vanished, leaving in her place the Pokemon known as Froslass. "No, I WAS a Gardevoir, but then my life was stolen by the very man I loved. He attacked me in the icy thickets of this very forest, and I was forgotten by everyone. My spirit, so broken, so saddened, so vengeful, became the Pokemon you see now." she flourished her hands, showing off her spectral kimono. "But enough about me. Let's talk about this." she motioned with her and, and a deep cracking resouded through the lake. Then came a muffled roar. "Hidden beneath this lake," she said, "is one of our great weapons." The cracking was closer and the roar less muffled. "Say hello to Shadow Gyarados!" she said, and the ice near the shore where Draco and Bifrost were standing shattered and flew in every direction as a Gyarados in the nightmarish hue of a Shadow Pokemon bellowed in fury at them.
