"Alright. It all starts back 2 years ago."

"I was taking a stroll near ardor volcano. It seemed very peaceful. Then these 2 mysterious figures captured me and I was knocked unconcious. Next thing I knew I was in a giant tube with green liquids with a little tube attached to my arm. Then this mysterious figure with his 2 goons walked up to me. 'Do you know why you are here?' he asked me, 'we needed a test subject to undego our tests to recreate the magnifisense of artificial shadow pokemon, and this time, MORE POWERFUL THAN BEFORE. And you seemed to be the perfect fit.' Then he walked over to a control panel and turned on that retched machine. My body became tense and I started to scream. I was starting to feel..evil. I was turning deep dark purple, the gems on my body turned white, and my eyes turned deep red. 'IT WORKS!!' the mysterious figure shouted before me. But it didn't stop there. I acted more rebelious. I then shattered the giant tube that contained me and flew off. I then landed in the middle of nowhere and pulled of the tube on my arm. I reverted back to normal and fell unconcious again."

"To this day I still have that dark power, but I can't control it. That's why I meditate, to try and prevent it from arising in me again. And one more thing. Guess where this vile and cruel act occured?"

"Where?" asked Draco, entranced by the story. " I bet it had to be somehwere remote." Bifrost said, excited that the Old Stories might actually be true.

"Askorun Wastes! I have a strange feeling they haven't given up on their desires yet," said Kevin with all seriousness, "So I'm going to figure it out for myself, with you guys by my side."

"Sorry to interupt, but your plan ends here." Suddenly, a hariyama landed with a bang infront of the heroes. "That's one of the thugs that took me!" Kevin said shockingly, "What do you want?!"

(OOC: Hariyama? Where'd he come from? I don't remember discussing that in our PM's. Besides, I had a theme for them: they were all either DARK or GHOST. Hariyama's FIGHTING, and thus, would oppose them.)

"It's been a while," said the hariyama, "I want you to come back and try our new artificial shadow machine. It works much better now."

"YOU AND YOUR MASTER RUINED MY LIFE!!!" shouted Kevin in rage. "I want revenge for what you've done to me. I...want..."

Kevin started to change like before untill he bacame this

. He finished his sentence "...REVENGE!!"

As Kevin unleashed the beast within, Draco and Bifrost jumped up and took on defensive positions. "Draco, you take out the Hariyama." Bifrost directed. "'Kay, and you try and knock some sense into Kevin." Draco replied. Hariyama looked bemused as now he had two pokemon to deal with, and Kevin was now the bigger issue. "Hey." Draco said, slamming his clenched fist into the side of Hariyama's face. "Your eye are on me. Got it memorized?" Draco said. Hariyama then turned his attention on Draco. "You'll pay for that, lizard!" he yelled, throwing punch after punch at Draco. None of them hit, of course, because Draco was much more agile and cunning than the bulky, half-witted Fighting-Type Pokemon. He slashe with his claws again. "Betcha can't get me!" Draco teased.

=Also happening=

Bifrost stood in front of Kevin. "Kev, snap out of it!" The red eyes just stared back at him menacingly. "Kevin, I know you're in there, somewhere." Bifrost attempted again. This time he got a response. A very nasty and cold response. "REVENGE!" he then ducked out of the way as he was attacked.

They owner of the eyes watched, along with an intrigued Absol. "So," said the Absol, "he can turn into a Shadow Pokemon. How peculiar..." Te eyes narrowed in dark glee. "Yes. He is a very interesting Pokemon, isn't he. I can forsee him being very useful." The Absol gave the other and incredulous look. "Not if he stays like that." The eyes lost their happiness. "Are you so blind as to be foolish?" it insulted. "Look there." and it pointed to Bifrost trying to reason with Kevin. "That one. He is not only trying, but succeeding, in reching the true person locked away in that shadow." The Absol looked again, then turned. "Why leave?" asked the voice of the eyes. "I grow bored." was the only answer the Absol gave.

Fern watched in awe, but quickly snapped out of it and loaded a Focus Punch. Typhoon went over to Bifrost. "Is there any moves that you might be able to use? He said to knock some sence into him. Shadow Pokemon don't listen... to anyone. The true selves are locked away inside, and the only way to unlock it is by defeating the shadow. So we can try to temporarily knock the shadow out long enough to get Hariyama out of here so Kevin can't be angry and allow the shadow to possess him. Sound good?"

"SHADOW PULL!!" Kevin released a shadow-like psychic and forced Bifrost and Typhoon away. "SHADOW CLAW!!" He ran towards the hariyama and slashed 3 massive gashes into it's chest.

"Help me," Kevin was whimpering telepathically, "I can't... control myself."

Bifrost coughed as he got back up. "Kevin..." he whispered. Seeing a friend, or even just another pokemon, like this... It made him deeply and profoundly upset. As Draco repeled Kevin, Bifrost crept up behind him and... embraced him? "Kevin, you gotta wake up." Bifrost said, gasping as he was ocaisionally bufetted by Kevin thrashing around. "Kevin! Please, snap out of it!" he yelled.

Kevin suddenly froze, remembering the 1st time ever meeting Bifrost. It was so peaceful. He then shed a black tear and screamed at the top of his lungs. Black aura surrounded him, and then he reverted back to normal. A few seconds later, he collapsed onto the ground. "Just...stay away." gasped Kevin in a somewhat demonic voice, "Get away from me you putrid..." He then fainted.

Draco made one last slash at Hariyama before the big lummox backed away, then retreated into the forest. "I'll get you yet, you wretched cur! We'll get you, and then you'll beg for the darkness!" he yelled, then he was out of range. Draco came over and helped up Bifrost. "That was a stupid thing to do..." he said. "He says as if he's never done stupid things before..." Bifrost grumbled. Draco picked Kevin up, and Bifrost made up a makeshift bed for him out of soft grasses and large leaves from the trees. Bifrost also brought a stone bowl filled with water over, which Draco heated slightly before Bifrost dipped a small cloth in it and placed the cloth on Kevin's head. "Now w wait for him to wake up, I suppose..." Draco sighed.

Gwen stared in amazement. Everything went by so quickly she had barely anytime to react. She stared at Kevin in disbelief, remembering the terrifying sight of seeing him as a Shadow Pokemon. A sudden distrust ran through her as she stared at the unconscious Sableye. "How can we trust him anymore," Gwen said to the others. "You saw what he turned into. What is keeping him from changing back into one of those monsters and betraying us?"

"Yes it is a place to purify shadow powers," replied, Kevin, "But I have a few other ideas in mind. I am thinking of maybe, JUST MAYBE, using these powers to help us on our quest. And there is someone that I know that can help me do that." Kevin continued, "I went there so this person could help me tame my shadows by using meditation, because it wasn't in a mature enough stage to be purified. Fern, Gwen, I'd like you to go inside the tower with me to visit him."

"And while you guys do that," Draco added, "we can go scout out around the Askorun Wastes, since I know that the Tower is on the road to there." Bifrost nodded. "I have to agree with him. It makes sense. We don't want another ambush, or another unexpected visit." he said.

A pokemon, a Honchkrow, laughed, a high, shrill, cold laugh. Laughing long and with abandon, she finally peetered out. "Oh, my soul... if I had one, that is." Honchkrow chuckled. "They expect to win against my power when they're like this? How pathetic!" The owner of the eyes glided into the room with the scrying crystal. "Be wary of your pride, Honchkrow." it warned, "They will get stronger as they go on." Honchkrow simply rolled her eyes and flew off, cackling to herself for no real reason.
