Bifrost made his way to the core of the entangled and musty webs. When he saw no readily open entrance, he sighed. "Well, I HAD hoped to enter with at least some element of surprise... Oh well..." he sighed again and, taking a deep breath, cried out "Powder Snow!" The threads froze, becoming brittle, crystalline strands of ice, which Bifrost promptly shattered by kicking them. As he entered, he saw the Queen Ariados being fed fermented berries and sacks of undefinable content. As Fern and Typhrog started up their distraction, the serving Spinarak ran out to see what was going on. It was then that Bifrost leapt out from his hiding spot and shouted to the giant Shadow Pokemon "You time has come, you wretched thing!" She swiveled, he massive bulk swaying on her spindly legs. "You'll no longer terrorize Manifold Forest!" he shouted again. This time she hissed at him, her pincers clicking in annoyance and... hunger? She charged at him with a Shadow Rush, which Bifrost dodged and used as an opening to launch a Powder Snow attack. It scored a direct hit, but it didn't seem to do much. This happened a few more times, before Bifrost cried out in frustration. 'I need an attack that can do more than just damage...' he thought. Then it came rushing back to him. When he was meditating in the forest with Kevin and Draco, he had felt engulfed in a sort of familiar warmth. He could still faintly feel it, too... Drawing upon that heat, Bifrost felt the power course though him until he finally shouted out "Freezer Burn!" The attack arched through the air, landing a hit on one of the spider's eyes. She hissed in pain and fear, backing away while Bifrost advanced. He attacked again, this time hitting her in the leg. When he finally had her in the middle of the 'room', he smirked and finished it all. "Powder Snow!" he cried, icing the webs beneath Ariados. After he hit it, she seemed to smirk in her eyes, and thought for one second he had missed. But then she heard the creaking and shattering of the webs beneath her weight. Though she tried to amble off, it was too late; the floor collapsed under her bulk and she fell, hittin the bottom of the pit below the webs with a resounding 'THUD'.

Bifrost started to celebrate when he heard the noises of the Spinarak coming into the room. "Crud..." he said as they began to look for the cause of the disturbance. When they spotted him, the hissed and clicked their pincers in anger. It sounded lick a million angry snapping fingers were harassing him, as if to say "You have harmed the queen; Prepare to die!" In reality, all that came out was the occasional, scratchy and underterminable "REVENGE!". As he mentally said good-bye to all of his friends, he saw Fern and Typhrog come in behind them and mentally thanked Arceus. "Thank Palkia you're here!" he called out, dodging as a Spinarak came at him. "What took you?"

(Draco is offended at those remarks!)

Draco overheard this and puffed up (like Jigglypuff in the anime). "I heard that Typhrog! I'd sleep with one eye open tonight, 'cause I'm gonna fry you like a frechman's lunch!" He calmed down a little and said to Kevin "Don't worry, I'm fine, and I can hold them off without using Fire-Type attacks. You should help Bifrost. I don't want him dead yet!" the joke was short live as they heard a cry of pain. "Bifrost!" Draco shouted, and rushed off to help his friend.

Inside, Fern and Bifrost were doing their best to repel the hordes of angry Spinarak... and failing. One had even gone so far as to nearly hit Fern with a Shadow Rush. Then one got Bifrost with a well aimed Shadow Blitz, hitting hard and fast. He let out a cry of pain, and to his surprise, Draco appeared in the room. "What the-? Draco, get out of here! You-" but he was cut off as Draco came down and slashed at a Spinarak that was seeking to rush Bifrost. "I don't care if I COULD burn this place down, because I know I WON'T." Draco said curtly. "I was gonna say 'You could get hurt.' I really don't wanna see you hurt by these things." Bifrost said, frosting an enemy with an attack. Draco smiled. "Don't worry, I'll be careful."
