"Yep. These two losers probably thought that by beating those two Shadow Pokemon would make them tougher than us..." Draco commented. Bifrost sighed and kicked Fangspat away from him as he was being snuck up on. "Not even a nice try..." he said.

"Don't do that," Grimesquat said, pushing Gwen away from him. Fangspat glared at her, berfore looking over to Draco. "We're actually not here to make trouble you know..." He looked off into the distance. "We've been quite a few places since we ran off. We saw some of the extent of the shadowy hold that is gripping Bombur." Fangspat looked back to Draco. "You've been away a long time, friend," he said, a tinge of sadness in his eyes. "Away? What do you mean?" Draco asked. "We met up with some of your friends. A Sneasel with shades on. She said she'd seen you just yesterday..." Grimespat said, then looked down. "That was a week ago..." he finished. "A week?! Where'd a whole week g-" Bifrost began, but then he remebered what had happened, it had seemed, just a few hours ago.

~~FLASHBACK~~
"The world has been connected..." a dark voice said. Everyone looked around, trying to find the source, but to no avail. "Tied to the darkness..." it continued. "Who's there?" Bifrost called. "You understand so little. You will never win," a figure clothed in a dark robe appeared behind the group. "One who knows nothing can understand nothing," the figure said with absolute sureness in its voice. "What do you know?!" cried Draco, who ran at the mysterious figure. It disappeared, and Draco slashed through air. "You are all so woefully ignorant of this world..." It snapped its fingers, and a bright flash of light engulfed the group. When they opened their eyes, it was as if they were back in Manifold Forest. "Take a look at this tiny place," the figure said, his voice commanding and sent a chill down some spines. "To the heart seeking freedom, this place is a prison... enshrouded in leaves." Draco kept looking around for the figure from before. Trees began to disappear. Others warped into twisted, thorny bramble trees. "And so you children sought to escape this prison, and thus opened yourselves to the Darkness." Bifrost shot a FreezerBurn attack at it, but it just went through it. "You are all doomed to failure. One who knows nothing can understand nothing and thus cannot hope to succeed in battle." The figure snapped its fingers again, and another flash put them back in the small glade in the Askorun Wastes.

"So... he put us into a pocket of space that was removed from time?" Draco asked. "It would seem that way... I wonder what has happened while we were gone," Bifrost seemed lost. The tension was so heavy as the group took a minute to take in the gravity of what this meant.
