A sinister cackle pierced the air, abruptly ending Mismagius' laugh of menace. She turned to see a distorted silhouette. The cackle turned into a snicker as the figure shuffled into the dim light of the scrying crystal. Deformed and terrifying to behold this creature stood in front of Mismagius, continuing to make its strange laughter. It stopped to say, "I thought I would join in your merriment, but I think you will find my visit less than pleasant."

The otherworldly being cackled again; a sound so unpleasant that even Mismagius grew scared. The creature that stood before her was a Gork, as stumpy creature with two, dispassionate red-jewel eyes and a green gem centered on its forehead that accented its putrid green skin. Replacing a mouth, insect-like mandibles clanked and clicked as Gork continue to laugh menacingly.

Gork soon ended and said, "Exodus no longer feels a need for you and your interference with his plans. Your undying loyalty to his cause will sate his anger against you and your useless minions. Oh don't worry, it won't hurt… much."

Without a moment's hesitation two Knightmare, trapped within themselves by the evil power of Exodus, came from the shadows and grabbed the startled Mismagius. They pinned her to the ground and the last thing she saw was the horrible visage of Gork cackling over her, its gem glowing.

A sinking sensation came into her heart until all at once it felt numb. Her mind soon became lost pushed away by the thoughts of another more sinister being. Visions of a great struggle held long ago filled her mind and then… revenge.

Doctor Petra contemplated recent events, but was interrupted by a beam of strange energy that shot forth, engulfing his body. In the doctor's place was the husk of his former self empowered and enraged by the darkness of Exodus. Lady 9 witnessed these events and called as loud as she could, "What is the meaning of this."

Out came a Quarrex, oddly colored, from the shadows. Its angered red eyes were penetrating as if this creature was seeing right through her very soul. A glassy look came over the Quarrex as it began to making an awful gurgling noise. Soon a disembodied voice came from the dazed pokemon; a haunting voice that sucked the warmth out of the entire room, leaving only despair. "You have become useless to me and as such I have no further use of you or your pathetic puppets. You will join me both in cause and in mind."

The Qurrex's glassy look was replaced again by savage anger and a beam of energy shot from its staff. Lady 9 was no longer, only a slave to Exodus' will remained.

Phobain's attack never made contact as a great rumbling in the earth caused Kevin to fall to earth, sending the ball of dark energy flying away. "Wha… what is happening?" cried Phobain.

His question was answered as a snake-like body erupted from the ground sending dust and rocks flying in all directions. A Shadow Steelix had emerged before the stunned pokemon. Phobain was unable to react as the Steelix fell upon him, grabbing him in its colossal maw. The Steelix began crushing the Phobain within its jaw, causing him to scream out in pain and terror. Soon Phobain's color began to change and now he was a Shadow Pokemon, completely taken by the power of Exodus. The Dark One's new slave fainted from pain and the Steelix retreated back within the earth returning to his master with its captive.

((OOC: It should be accepted that the B.O.B.B. story arc has ended, as well as the Mismagius group story arc. The story you were weaving took too many liberties with the characters and story that BonzaiRob had created anew for the RPG and it strayed too far from what would actually happen. Exodus never accepts help from any outside group and does not use normal pokemon to do his bidding. The only notable exception is Gork, who is far from normal. Due to the agents' use of Shadow energy, given to them by Exodus he could easily track down each one and enslave, so they are all effectively transformed into Shadow Pokemon. This is a decision by the staff so I'm sorry if you feel this is unfair. Frankly I don't blame you for going the route you did as the story is not well defined. We're simply trying to put you back on track, and will try to remain more active in the future.))
