"Throw it off a bit, use Growl," Chris said and Mudkip made a cute small Growl.

"Hmm... it seems you are coward as well, such a pansy-tactic," Chris scoffed clearly annoyed by Seth's antics. "Slow that pest down Mudkip use Mud-Slap and cover the area around you with mud."

Mudkip was just as annoyed as his trainer, growling a bit in its throat. It spat mud all around itself and even some at Scorpion. Chris was thinking that the think sticky mud would make it difficult for Seth's Xoskilltn's spindly legs to navigate.

Tactic managed to work. Scorpion managed to saddle Mudkip's back, causing him to shake furiously to shake Scorpion off, but the bug-like legs managed to latch on. Chris wasn't too happy about seeing his pokemon being relentlessly scratched. "Calm down Mudkip and roll to throw it off!" Chris said.

Mudkip did as commanded though it was tricky with Scorpion still using Scratch. For good affect Mudkip tumbled into the mud, causing Scorpion to stick enough to pull him off. Mudkip was not looking well. Scratch marks and bruises cover the small, blue Pokemon's body. He looked like he was about to faint, but Chris was far from over with this battle.

"Come over here Mudkip I have some medicine that will help you," Chris said as he pulled out the familiar white and purple bottle of medicine. Mudkip scurried over and allowed his trainer to spray the Potion all over him. The bruises and scratch marks began to fade and Mudkip looked fit for some more battling.
