Blinx900: Alex stepped out inquiring he'd go first. Without further ado, he sent out his Xoskilltn.

Anthony GallO: Anthony decided it was okay to let Alex start first as he could watch the style of fighting
Aaron used. He released his Sukus and told it to watch. Sukus, instead attacked Anthony and drained some
blood. Anthony laughed, pulled it off and sat next to the arena.

Anthony Gallo: Anthony blinked a second, rested his chin on is palms. so far, it appears this gym leader
specializes in fast, pain inflicting techniques. Maybe I can use that to an advantage. If I have Sukus...
Anthony thought to himself. ((No way am I gonna give away my battle tactics yet! I stop that here.))

((Oh. Blinx if that's your new sig, the old one was funnier...though this is good. I like bacon.))

BonzaiRob: ((I cleared the spam. Please don't have random convos halfway through a battle guys...
Also, read some previous gym battles. We don't usually bother with exact HP. The enemy defense lowered part,
while probably accurate, would count as you controlling my character - the person to reply decides what the
attack does and suchlike. We trust you enough to do it rationally.))

Nevermore looked away from the Leer and shuddered.
"Don't let it get to you, Nevermore! Tackle!"

Xoskilltn had turned away in fear from the tackle attack. With his tail pointing towards Nevermore.

"Xos Use Scratch!"

Xosktilltn stayed cradled up on the ground.

"COME ON YOU USELE--"

Alex paused for a minute.

Xosktilltn turned to nevermore, with an evil glarin its eye, it he blocked the attack with one of his claws.

Anthony Gallo: Anthony smirked as Xoskilltn raised the claw. Nice defense there. Surprised it did that without
it's trainer telling it to. Still looks like Aaron uses body damaging moves. Sukus will be hard pressed here.
I'm not great at battling yet. Sukus watched dilligently. Anthony found this rather surprising since it had
horrid concentration.

"What is it Sukus?"

Sukus just kept watching and said nothing. Anthony looked around for anything his little Pokemon was looking at.
As he did that, two things happend. 1rst, Aaron called out an attack. 2nd, unknown to the battlers, Sukus fainted.

Anthony picked up Sukus and looked it over. There was a redish tinge on it. "No way. Alex's hit was critical?"
He remembered a fight earlier (see training) against Alex's Xoskilltn and how it had ended a tie.Anthony had healed
them both but it looked like xoskilltn's hit was more dangerous.

Needless to say, Anthony left for the Pokemon Center and the missed the attack Aaron had called.

BonzaiRob: Nevermore bounced off of Xoskillitn's claw. It swooped round and when in for an even harder Tackle,
despite its Leer attack.

Anthony Gallo: Anthony was in the lab now. He skidded down the halls with Sukus in hand. Where is that d***
healing machine! It was in that corridor last time I checked... Okay, so that was a week ago but still! He saw
it on his right but was going to fast. Anthony curled around his Sukus to protect it as he tumbled down a flight
of stairs. He stopped at the 12th and groaned, got up and headed for the machine.I sure hope Alex is okay.

Blinx900: Xosktilltn flew back colliding into Alex. "Damnit, I shouldnt have chosen you as MY partner!" Xoskilltn
just walked up without emotion and stood in front of Nevermore. With his eye slowly brightening and darkening.
Alex thought*Sigh* Maybe I shouldnt have even come here. Maybe I should have stayed with Leona and..........Sean,
and Matt and...all my other friends. "You know what? Fine, I surrender. I can already tell that I'm just not cut
out to battle with pokemon." Alex returned Xosktilltn to his pokeball." And take this useless "thing" with you. He
threw the ball at Aaron.

Anthony Gallo: " ALEX!!! SHUT THE HELL UP!! NEVER QUIT YOU MORRON!!!" Anthony had come back but the battlers hadn't
noticed he left. Anthony was very angry. "WHAT'S EXISTENCE WORTH IF YOU JUST F***'N QUIT ALL THE TIME!!??! YOU
END UP ACHIEVING NOTHING IN YOUR ALL- TO- SHORT LIFE!!!! WHY NOT KILL YOURSELF NOW????" Alex remained quiet and
let Anthony yell.
"DAMMIT!!! ANSWER ME! HOW ARE YOU GONNA PROVE YOUR LIFE IS WORTH S*** IF YOU QUIT???" Anthony punched the wall
and left a shallow but long dent in the wall.
"WEEEELLLLLL?????????????!!!!!!!!!!"

BonzaiRob: Aaron let Xoskillitn out of its ball, and knelt down beside it with his arm outstretched. The little
arachnid walked up Aaron's arm and onto his shoulder and clung there, shaking. Aaron stroked it to calm it down.
"Now Alex, Anthony is right. You need more faith in yourself, and your pokmon." Aaron reached into his pocket
and pulled out a large device, which looked like a personal organiser. He opened it, and pointed it at Xoskillitn.
"This Xoskillitn has better than average stats, you know. It has great power waiting to be let out. It just needs
you to help it." Aaron stretched his arm out once more, and Xoskillitn walked down it. Aaron returned it to its
ball, and held it out to Alex.
"What do you say?"

Blinx900: "You know...youre right...I cant quit after 2 days. Well actually...It hasnt been two days...for me that
is... I'v been a trainer in all the other regions Kanto, Jhoto, Hoenn...I just release all of them when I go into
a new one...*sigh* I cant help but to screw up in life...It happens almost every day...Well I could tell you my
whole life right now BUUUUUT its time to finish our battle." Xoskilltn walked to Alex's side with its body glowing
with a feint white.

"Uhm...Aaron whats going on here?" o_O

Xoskilltn was glowing ever brighter.

BonzaiRob: "Hmm... that's unusual, even for a Fire-type. I think we should carry on this battle! Nevermore, Peck!"

Blinx900: Xoskilltn swung its claws rapidly to try and defend itself. It ended in vain making it slide back
on its legs.

"Xos, use scratch!"

It went back in with a horizontal SCRATCH attack.

BonzaiRob: Nevermore reeled back and landed heavily.
"Growl at it!"
Nevermore crouched and let out a menacing growl.

Blinx900: Xoskilltn stepped back.

"Go in for another SCRATCH!"

Xokilltn striked upward this time.

BonzaiRob: Nevermore was thrown backwards, flipping over. It got back onto its feet, breathing heavily, but
fell back down.
"Nevermore, return! You did well." Nevermore was sucked ito Aaron's pokball. "Now then.. go, Ledyba!"
Ledyba arrived on the field, with a cheerful cry.

Blinx900: Xoskilltn began glowing again.

"A bug type, well this should be fast. Xos, use a LEER attack!"

Xoskilltn turned swiftly to the Ledyba with a sharp glare.

Anthony Gallo: Huzzaaa! I'm back!!!!^_^

Anthony watched the battle from the side. So far, the Gym Leader only used one non body inflicting move.
Maybe I can use this too an advantage Anthony thought.

BonzaiRob: Ledyba recolied back.
"Tackle it, Ledyba!"

Blinx900: Xoskilltn put his claw forward like earlier, the attack was sucessful
and let a bruise on Xoskilltn's Claw.

"Try and hit it with a scratch attack!"

Xoskilltn went in with its claws open.

Anthony Gallo: After earning the Panarama badge; Alex and Anthony decide to head for route A.

Edit: I'm not waiting for Blinx. He's busy and hasn't been on in ages. i'll let him catch up when he pleases. To
anyone else: I will be happy to have other company in Bombur.

Alex paused... "Uh, Anthony... I forgot. I gotta do somethings. Maybe I'll see you on the road!"

Anthony paused. He had counted on Alex on coming with him. He decided he had no control over this and took out a
pen and some paper.
"wait." Alex waited.
Anthony then tore off the sheet and handed it to Alex, "This is my P*DA email address. When you are ready to come;
email me and I'll set a place to meet you." Alex took it and said thanks.
Anthony and Alex departed as Anthony headed onto route A once more.

CHAPTER 1: Nevermore Attacks!|

Anthony headed down the road. He had never been in the road at night. He became jumpy and nervous. Fighting down
his fear; he surged ahead down the path. a howl reverberated through the night. A Poochyena. This sent a shiver
down his spine. He caught a glimspe of a Spinda but it ran off before he could further verify it.

He then heard fluttering. He didn't understand but suddenly he found himself thinking of a time when he had attacked
someone. A boy about his age. The fight ended with Anthony unconcious and the boy with a serious amount of wounds.
He had lied and said that the other boy had started it. The sound of a kindof insane caw echoed over and over;
before Anthony's eyes were memories he suppressed from either a fault of his own or an embarrassing moment.

Driven by madness; Anthony ran further. The caw kept coming like cruel laughter and the wing flaps were growing
louder. Anthony screamed in sheer terror. Never had he felt like this. He fell to his knees. Tears streaked down
his eyes and he vomited. More images. Ones he never knew but the people in them were always somehow linked to him.

Once again, Anthony picked himself up. He ran further, not caring about the cuts or bruises or even bumping into
things. He had even stepped on a Porcupin but in his madness; never looked. He eventually was backed against a
rocky wall; never ceaseing caws all around. He started banging his head against the stone trying to drive the
madness out of him. Then he heard it. The cry that could have told him what was happening. He was too far into
the spell to understand it but the cry echoed forever.

Nevermore!

(I'm waiting for people to join me if they want. Other wise I will continue tomorrow)

Anthony regained control of his mind and the sound and this time knew it. Nevermore! He realized what was happening.
A Nevermore flock was attempting to drive him mad. He had only heard of this and was unprepared. Now he was ready.
"Sukus! GO!" Sukus burst out of it's ball and faced it's opponents. Anthony hesitated. So many and against one.
He had little hope in winning.
The Nevermore surged forward leaving Anthony little time to think.
"Sukus! Tackle!!" Sukus leapt forward and battered serveral of the bird Pokemon. It kept this up for a long time
'till a rather large Nevermore hit it's side.
Kssss Sukus cried as it fell. Anthony rushed in and grabbed Sukus. Sukus had fought rather well. It had just fended
off a total of 29 Pokemon. Anthony was out of Potions and was forced to recall it. The last Nevermore looked
weakend. It must've been hit earlier a couple times yet was able to stay concious.
Anthony realized the oppotunity and put his hand into his bag, "Pokeball go!"

(By now Sukus should have earned some lvs from this fight and the gym. Need to know how many.)

The Pokeball burst open and the Nevermore dissapeared inside. The ball rocked once. Then twice. Then once more and
laid still. Anthony had caught Nevermore! He looked at the Pokedex that Aaron had given him earlier.

After doing a bit more browsing on Nevermore; Anthony pulled out a revive and tended to Sukus. It let out
short pained sounds but it would be fine as soon as Anthony used a berry.
Then Anthony healed Nevermore with another berry he had found and walked further ahead.

CHAPTER 2: The Wrath of Mankey|
______________________________|
Triumphant in catching Nevermore, Anthony continued down the path. He kept a keen eye out for any pokemon he might
want to catch. He also had his pad out incase he saw something really unusual ha might want to draw.
It became morning and the mountains ahead were painted in reds, yellows, and purple. The early morning sun was
beautiful to watch and Anthony decided to rest and have breakfast.
He was wolfing down his sandwich ravenously and was enjoying himself when a shadow was cast over him. He looked
up and saw an Aipom dangling from it's tail swinging. He dropped his sandwich, swallowed some water, and grabbed
his notepad. He then started vigorously making lines and the Aipom took shape. He was just finishing up when
the leaves rustled on Aipom's branch. Aipom's face turned from bright and cheerful to fearful and hidden.
Anthony was wondering what was going on when a Mankey burst from the leaves. Mankeeeeey!
The larger Mankey easily pushed the smaller Aipom off the branch. The Aipom fell several feet and was close to
the ground. Anthony jumped forward and grabbed for the Aipom but missed and was going to cringe and realized a
big hand-shaped tail was curled around him.
Aipom smiled and sat on Anthony's head. Anthony decided Aipom was okay and set it down. It nudged his hand and
then ran into the bushes.
Anthony then glanced at the Mankey. Someone had to put it back in it's place.
"Nevermore! I choose you!" Light burst out and seconds later, Nevermore was in the air. Mankey looked at it
and shook it's fist.
"We'll show him! Nevermore! Tackle!" Nevermore flew at Mankey and knocked it back. Mankey was infuriated and
called out.
Anthony was about to attack again when he heard another sound. It was another Mankey. Mankey cries echoed
everywhere.

Anthony counted six Mankey and then realized his position. After fighting Nevermore, he didn't want to ganged up
on again.
He returned Nevermore and ran. The Mankey started to pursue. They were faster than him and soon caught up.
Anthony batted them away but soon was overwhelmed. A fist to the head and Anthony was out cold.

When Anthony woke, he had no idea where he was. He slowly got on his feet and saw that his water had spilled. He
looked down and was shocked. In the puddle was the image of a boy just into his teens with a large bruise across
his cheek and blood trickling down his mouth.
He realized what had happend and swore. He picked up his things and continued on his path. The blood would drip
every so often and Anthony wiped his wound. He did not want to think of it.
Further ahead, he saw small tracks. The were round and every so often a hand print would also show. He started
to smile but quickly stopped when it caused pain to shoot through his cheek. Aipom was here. He was about to
keep going with the road when he saw more prints. Each where large and two-pronged like a fork.
Realization spread across Anthony's face. Those were Mankey tracks. Aipom was in trouble again. He gave a quick
and worried glance at the tracks and decided to help the Aipom. He ran down the trail.


"Sukus! Nevermore! Let's go!" Burst of light shot out of two red and white balls in the air.
Anthony had found Aipom surrounded by the Mankey and hurt. Sukus and Nevermore appeared with a determined glare.
The Mankey cried in alarm but soon regained calm. They attacked. Sukus and Nevermore took out four. But didn't
notice the other two coming from the trees.
They were hit hard and fainted. Then the Mankey turned on Anthony and were going to strike again when Aipom's tail
tripped them and threw them away.
Anthony healed Sukus and Nevermore with more berries and thanked Aipom. He started to leave when Aipom looked nervous.
Anthony looked at it and thought.
"Aipom, do you want to come with us? We can protect you until you are old enough."
Aipom smiled and jumped onto Anthony's arm. Anthony pulled out a Pokeball and let Aipom inside. "Yes! I've got an Aipom now!"

Chapter 3: Alex's Return|

Anthony was sitting down eating when he heard a buzz. He reached to his bag and pulled out a device. He looked at his P*DA's
email.
Hello. This is Alex. Meet me outside of Anchore in 1 hour. Anthony paused and then let out a happy note. He picked up his
stuff and ran down the road.
He reached Anchore a half hour early and sat down and waited. He then saw Alex running to meet him. Anthony got up and
smiled which quickly turned to a frown. Alex wasn't alone. Infact, he had several police folowing him on foot.
Anthony groaned. Alex must've done something idiotic. He heard the police yelling.
"Alex! What did you do?!"
"Stole something from a store! Sorry! Just run!" Unfortuneatly the police heard the conversation and took Anthony to
be an accomplice of some sort. They were stopped by a String Shot from Spinarak.

Alex joined the Team!

Anthony's Pokemon:
Sukus lv 10
Nevermore lv 7
Aipom lv 5

Alex's Pokemon:
Xoskillin lv 9 (on account that if you're still here, you can't have earned a huge amount of lvs.)

Blinx900: Both wrapped in a sticky web, Anthony and Alex waited (for they couldnt move) for the police to take them in.

"tsk tsk tsk." Said the policeman. "Kids your age should know not to do such things. Well considering the
large amount of TMs you stole, you should be out in a month."

"A MONTH?!" Shouted Alex. "surely we can work something out!"

"Sorry kid, its your own fault."

Anthony looked at Alex angrily.

Alex whispereed "sorry"

Later Alex and Anthony were sitting in a cell. Scraping into the Wall playing Toc-Tac-Toe, and other games.
They waited and waited for what seemed like hours. The most they could do is keep scraping into the walls.

The other prisoners were rattling the bars and yelling. Alex was rocking back and forth in the corner, mumbling.
While Anthony was drawing in a rather small memo book he must have had in his pocket.

"Hey, Anthony. Could I have a piece of paper?" Anthony nodded and gave him a sheet. Alex drew a small chibi design
for a Xoskilltn. then crumpeled it up and put it in his pocket.

"So. Whaddya think we'll do for the next. 29 days?"

Suddenly, someone had crashed through the wall! He was a shadowy figure and held 4 pokeballs and 2 packpacks
around his shoulders.

"Who-- Who are you?"

Anthony Gallo: "My name I think I'll keep to myself. The point is is that you two dunderheads are no use to me in
jail. I'm breaking you out. Take your stuff and leave through here." He pulled out his sword and pointed it toward the wall.
"Be sure not to get in this sort of trouble again or I will be most angry." He pulled out a Pokeball and an Alakazam stood.
"Alakazam. Teleport." He dissapeared and Anthony and Alex decided to leave.

Blinx900: Alex and Anthony ran till they ended up back on route A.

"Well, I see you've gotten some more pokemon in my "Absence".My xoskilltn has grown quite a bit too. theres always
one pokemon i wanted to catch in my time in other regions."

"And what pokemon might that be?" Asked Anthony.

"Clefairy. I heard from locals that its prevo (Cleffa) can be found here."

Alex and Anthony continued along the path. Until Alex stopped and began to open his backpack. He pulled out a case o
f discs. And handed one of the two to anthony.

"I managed to steal a few TMs, a SHOCKWAVE a SHADOW BALL and a PSYCHIC. not sure if your pokemon will be able to use any.
Maybe your Nevermore could learn shadow ball?"

"Anyway since were wanted criminals its going to be difficult from here on. i suggest we lay low for a while-- Actually
we should just get the hell out of here!"

"Hopefully, we wont be known throughout Bombur. But lets continue and hope for the best,"

And so Anthony and Alex continued Alex looked out for a Cleffa to catch. And Anthony walked along and enjoyed the scenery.

it was sunset. Knowthing and other pokemon were running and flying among the field. Alex spotted a small pink bodied and
green eared creature.

"Anthony look! A Cleffa!"

"Go Xostillkn!"

Xoskilltn appeared in a flash of red light, then let out a cry.

"Xoskilltn, dont lose track of that pink thing!"

"Now use a poison sting!"

Xoskilltn sprayed an array of poisonous needles at the oddly colored Cleffa. Cleffa was angry now, and dashed toward
Xoskilltn with its fist held high. It managed to land a successful POUND onto xoskilltn. It was weak but caused some
damage to Xoskilltn

"Hit it with a SCRATCH attack!"

And Xoskilltn ran and slashed Cleffa with a powerful scratch.

"Lets wrap this up! SCRATCH!"

Xoskilltn didnt move.

"Xoskilltn? Come on, use SCRACTH!"

Xoskilltn still remained motionless.

"Ohhh, !@#$!"

Alex decided to try his luck and catch it now with a pokeball. He tossed it and Cleffa was pulled into it by a red aura.
The ball rocked once. Then twice. then he heard a loud *tong*.

"HAHA! I caught it! I got a Cleffa!"

Chapter 4: The Arrival of Ditto!|

Anthony Gallo: Anthony looked at his friend and smiled. He was glad that Alex had returned. Then he paused.
"Alex... What's with Xosikilltn? It froze suddenly. Was it paralysis or infatuation?"

Blinx900: "ill check it out in the pokedex."

Alex opened up his pokedex and searched "Cleffa".

'Apparently Cleffa has an Ability called Cute Charm. And it infatuates pokemon on contact. Xoskilltn should be okay now."

Alex let out his newly captured cleffa and Xoskilltn.

they both cried out and Cleffa sparkled for a minute.

Cleffa looked at Xoskilltn. Xoskilltn flinched, then turned away.

"They lok so cute together." Said Alex.

Xoskilltn looked annoyed with Alex's comment. he returned Xoskilltn to his ball and Cleffa hopped onto Alex's shoulder.

they continued along route A and spotted a rather odd looking rock. it had what appeared to be eyes and a mouth.
(supposed to be ditto since it can transform into other things too.)

Anthony Gallo: Well Alex saw it anyway. He realized Anthony wasn't there but turned at a shout.
Anthony came and he said, "Sorry about leaving so sudden. I went back to Anchore and left some pokedollars in the mailslot of
the store as payment of what you stole. I also left a note and had Aipom insert something so that anyone who tries to check
it from outside will recieve a batery powered shock! Hey. What's with the rock?"
Anthony poked the rock with a stick and it jumped.
"A livops maybe? No... Livops aren't in this area." Suddenly the rock sparkled and dissolved into an incomprehensible mass
and reformed into a geletanous pokemon.
Ditto.
"Oh wow! A Ditto!" Alex exclaimed. It eyed the stick nervously so Anthony hastily threw it away.
Anthony pulled out his pad and tried to recapture and remember what the ditto looked like while transforming and did an okay
picture of it though it had many erased lines visable.
They were enjoying the discovery when a shrill sound rang out. A Poochyena appeared with a mean looking Rattata. With one
glance at the trainers, they attacked.
Anthony pulled out a Pokeball.
"So it's a Pokemon Battle your after, huh? Let's go! Sukus! Aipom!"
Sukus and Aipom came out but Aipom tried to hide.
"Aipom. Your out here for experiance. Try to keep out of the way and attack sparingly. Sukus! Use LEECH LIFE on Poochyena!"
Sukus lept forward and started draining energy. Poochyena's dark type was no match for a bug type move and Poochyena was
deeply weakend while Sukus gained a nice healthy look.

Blinx900: Cleffa jumped off Alex's shoulder with an Angry look in her eye.

"looks like Cleffa wants to fight."

Anthonys get those two taken care of. I'll guess ill take out this Ditto!

the ditto transformed into Cleffa.

"All right Cleffa use a pound on it!"

Cleffa rolled her fist and ran in for an attack. the ditto jumped up, and crashed down with a mighty pound. Cleffa was
hurt bad, Alex thought fast and pulled out a yellow TM.

"Cleffa! Think fast!"

Cleffa turned around and caght the disc and began glowing yellow. She dimmed back to normal and had shockwaves flowing
through her hands and ears.

"Excellent. now use a SHOCK WAVE!"

Cleffa raised her hands up and cast out an electrical beam up into the heavens. The Ditto was motionless for a moment,
then struck by a large thunderbolt. It was just barely consious. And then fled from Alex and Cleffa.

"Thats how we roll!" Shouted Alex.

Cleffa* grew to level 7!

He turned to Anthony still barraging the two pokemon with attacks.

Anthony Gallo: Seems Ditto was a member of that group. A lure so we wouldn't notice these guy's because it was friendly
'til they came. Whatever. We can take 'em.
"Sukus! Use TACKLE on Rattata! Aipom! Your foe is weak! Get Poochyena!"
Aipom nervously obeyed with a SCRATCH attack. Poochyena growled and feaked Aipom badly but then fainted. Aipom nervously
poked it.
KSSSAAA!!!! screamed Sukus as it charged Rattata. The weaker Rattata crumbled from the blow.
Anthony smiled and returned the two.
"Wow. You three handled that well," he said while including Cleffa in his praise.
Alex looked down the road as morning came.
"Anthony! Look ahead! Decorus Woods!"
Anthony looked and saw a gigantic forest. They had made it this far. There was no turning back now.

Erik, Aero, Daniel and Shira (is that everyone?) also didn't notice a young man with glowing red eyes watching them from a tree
shadow. Or at least, Thieth thought they hadn't.
The trainer eyed these people. He had defeated team aqua, magma, and snagem. He was interested now of these trainers. He already
had the gym and the trainers he had encountered watched by some of his Ditto. These trainers were stronger than the only other
traveler. He smiled as he remembered his last check on the trainer Anthony and his horror of Nevermore. He was to weak at the time
so Thieth left him alone for now.
He lept down the tree and faced the trainers. All of them gave a slight jump and then tried to resume calm expressions.
"Heh. I can tell you are all nervous of this." He pulled out a long scimitar and smiled. "If you heard of what I did in the
lab, don't bother listening to my introduction.
I am Thieth. I am here to take anything of interest after I defeat you. I now will demonstrate that of which I can do. Come out!
Sagittorso!Tyrantorch!"
Sagittorso stretched itself while Tyrantorch roared defiance.

P.S. Sorry about all these side notes; these must be annoying but anyway, I recieved permission to make my encounters as random
as possible. I don't want to disturb the gym and I don't want to attack my other character without more people. So don't think
I'm picking on you guys.

((When you wnated to start an antagonist trainer, i thought you meant playing as a normal trainer like the rest but not being
allied with them. I'm not sure this is acceptable. ~Bonzai))

((He's not there to steal from trainers. I won't let him. he's just provoking them. Actually he's just making a test to see
who is noteworthy in the future. Also, I said he wanted to defeat all the teams. He's in that sense, good, but also wants you
to quit being a trainer if your weak. Not that anyone's gonna quit. Also note that he will steal from stores so other trainers
will have to stop his attempts.))

((What I mean is that you're skipping huge portions of his backstory. You should play through like any other trainer, instead

AeroGP: Aero was estatic! He knew that the pokemon in the water was, and was waiting for the opportunity to capture another
powerful ally for training. Still, he wasn't confident that his friends were ready to take on this enemy. He'd have to make a
decision, and quick...

Aero: Aww, darn it, I thought we were done with the hard stuff!

Aero rushes towards the mysterious trainer and his pokemon, and doesn't look back.

Aero: You guys go after that thing (points at the pokemon without looking back at it) and I'll take care of this guy! Let's do
it!

Aero immediately calls out Blastoise and Ursaring for a quick double battle. Blastoise, feeling slightly rejuvinated, is ready
to combat once more. Meanwhile, Ursaring, who was still sore from his beatdown at the hands of the Bumbler, was feeling pretty
upset...

Anthony Gallo "Very well. You first. Tyrantorch. Let's try an Overheat (TM Learned)." Tyrantorch roared and attacked with a
scorching fire.
Blastoise got hit pretty hard but being a water type, it survived without too much damage. Ursaring managed to get away without
any problems.

((Sorry. When I think of a mysterious antagonist, I don't want to plan a backstory because it will get everyone way to alert
of when he's coming. Only gym battles or important events are actually anything I wish to put up. If yyou think I should, I
will. I'm still gonna have this battle here though.))

((You could PM it to me if you don't want everyone else let in on it, but I don't want you to just skip through the league.
You're going to have to battle the gym leaders like everyone else - and you're one badge down, like Aero. Likewise, you can't
just say your character caught this and this and this, he'll have to work to catch pokémon and train like other players.

AeroGP: Aero: Blastoise, take it out!

Blastoise launches a devestating Hydro Pump, throwing Tyrantorch off balance and into a tree. The pokemon, having experienced
critical damage, immediately caved.

Aero: Now Ursaring, you do the same to... that thing! (points at Sagitoros)

Ursaring, unfortunately, is still upset from his last battle, and isn't ready to listen to reason. It refuses to attack
Sagitoros as Aero advised, and decides to Beat Up the already K.O'd Tyrantorch. All Aero and Blastoise can do in response is
let out a unanimous sigh and stare bewildered at Ursaring's frustrated state.

Shining ShinE: Eric, Shira and Daniel had in the meanwhile distanced themselves from the fight. Partly because they were sure
Blastoise could take on the foes, but also largely because the sight of the enormous Gyarados that was rising out of the little
pool was astonishing. 'What was it doing there?' Eric couldn't help but wondering... So far, he couldn't determine whether the
Gyarados was hostile to them. Eric cautiously walked over to it.

"If you people keep getting stronger, I will have much use for you. Be sure not to fail. By the way, Aero. You may want to
find your friends. A bit of a shocking Pokemon is emerging." Thieth jumped up and disappeared.

Thieth stood tall. He had taken weeks of planning to get him to where he was. It wouldn't do him any good to fail here.
He let out a long exhale. In front of him was a couple of thugs. He smirked.
"So... do we have a deal?"
5 of the 6 thugs nodded. Puzzled; Thieth looked at this one.
"Will you or not?"
The thug bolted for the door but tripped revealing a police badge.
Thieth walked over and glared. He thought for a second and thanked luck that he had caught this one now.
"Officer... You do know what KIA means right?" The officer shivered as a Masterball was revealed.
What on earth did this guy catch that would need a Masterball? The ball opened and Thieth's laugh could be heard all over
the mountains his hideout was upon.

((Well they aren't permanent trainers. I can switch 'em but I thought it would be fine because you won't see these guys after
the takeover is over. So technically they aren't even members of the RPG. Just excess henchmen Thieth uses. I could change
them to Kapacorn, Vulcant, Nandrum, and Seedum I guess. I'd rather use what I said at first though...))

BLAM! Thieth hit the wall with his fist. On the wall were images of verious criminals. A vein bulged slightly on his temple and
he yelled as he hit the wall again; his hand began to bleed.
His goal in life was to eliminate all evils in the world, but he had no idea how to but to break rules. The latest plan,
Bastion City's takeover, was to find trainers strong enough to assist him. And if they refuse to assist me anyway, he hit
the wall again, well I'll just have to provide a little motivation!

"He's gotten that many on his side?"

"These are just estimates, but with our connections, they can't be very far off."

"Hard to say. We think he's been digging up info on major local criminals, but the folks he's talking to are all small-time
thugs. In fact, we figure there aren't many street toughs left in Bastion who aren't with either him or us."

"Well, he's up to something..." The brawny man's brow furrowed deeper. "...and I don't like not knowing what. That Shinou gang
on Aguav Ave's been with him for a while, right? Grab some heavyweights, squeeze 'em and see what comes out."

"You got it, boss."

Anthony Gallo: ((OOC: Wow, I got the attention of Team Uppercut! WEEEEEE! By the way, who's controlling that?))

"-reports that criminal- media dubbed "Thieth" - has entered the Bombur region have been confirmed. The criminal mastermind has
met with several trainers, attacked police officers, destroyed the remains of Team Rocket, Team Aqua, and Team Snagem, and
stolen several pokemon from different regions. The criminal-" Thieth turned off the TV he had been watching. Me? Criminal? Well
I quess it's true but... I'm not your average criminal then huh? I mean look. They even admitted I permanently disbanded those
evils from the world! I'm not evil! Those who oppose me! Yes! They're evil! I'll show them by getting rid of every criminal on
this planet! Then I'll just dispose of them! Thieth grabbed his cloak from the chair and picked up his weapons: his sword and
stun gun. He left the room and slammed the door behind him.
Besides, he thought as he quickly walked down the corridor, I've found an interesting egg... no two interesting eggs. One's
still in Bastion City. I have time to plant my influence on that one! This is my utopia and I will make it clean!

"The Bombur Region Police Force? Pah... They're just sissys-"
"Didja hear? Seems that there was a spy from Team Uppercut found! Maybe I should resign. They're big crimi-"
"What is Thieth thinking? Taking over Bastion is gonna be incredibly difficult! Is he insane?"
"-and I here there's a few new trainers in town. Maybe they have some cash... It'll be worth looking int-"
"EVERYONE SHUT UP!!!" Hundreds of people stopped talking and looked at the balcony. Standing there was Thieth. His eyes were narrowed to slits. His nostrils flared and he
massaged his temples.
"Now then... Due to some spying and some highly annoying idiots, I have some things to do right here. First off," he smiled and
pulled a machine from under his cloak and pressed a button, "let's get rid of the spies..."
A high pitch noise emitted from the machine. A man below gasped as he fumbled with his jacket. He unfastened it and threw a
tranceiver to the ground. BLAM. Thieth had pulled out a stungun and shot the man. Then a woman shrieked and pulled out her
tranceiver. BLAM. She fell to the ground too. Suddenly, a surge of people ran for the doors. Everyone who got near it suddenly
fell through a trapdoor.
Thieth laughed and looked at the remainder of people below, "May that be a message to you spies and traitors. Any found will
be punished and consequences - dire. I do hope whomever in this room is a spy takes care not to show any signs of it..." He
gave a suppressed chuckle which suddenly burst into a maniacal laugh. He disappeared into the hall behind the balcony and left
the others to their thoughts. (Edited for excessive violence, thought I should)

"Th-Thieth sama? Sir? W- we found this in the police headquarters... will it be-"
"Just hand it over you usless bags of dirt," Thieth eyed them with great hatred and grabbed the file. It contained information
on every registered trainer in the Bombur Region.
So..., he thought, Time to sort out the great from the small.
He thumbed through the file. He paused.
"Find more on this Aero kid who beat me. I'm very interested in him. Oh. And I heard those punks who caught me in the lab,
Alex and Anthony are in the city. Investigate them. Now then... I'm going to do some recon. I expect results. I better see
them." He walked out the door. His officers quickly rushed out after him, heading a seperate direction.
Take over of the City of Trinities, huh? This is gonna be sweet!

"Thieth sama! The information you requested!" Thieth watched as his researchers filed into the room.
"Thieth sama sir, we will go through these alphabetically."
"Just go on. They all have A's in there name. Do it at random," Thieth remarked. A soft tone of hatred and annoyance edged in
his voice.
"Yes sir! Alexandre Valor. Current location: Unknown. Age: 18. Travelling companion: Was with Anthony Gallo 'til arrival in
Bastion. Badges: 1. Anthony Gallo. Current location: Bastion city. Recently turned 13. Travelled with Alex Valor until arrival
in Bastion. Badges: Just won his second badge."
Thieth looked up. That kid already got his second badge. Further investigation might be useful.
"Aero Inguigana. Current location: Travelling in Decorous Woods. 19 years old. Travels in a group. Names are on the file.
Badges: 0."
Thieth looked up, "Leave the files here and let me think. I've got a couple changes in the plan."

After recieving wierd looks from his companions, he slowly puts his hand down, confirmed that he was at ease to speak up.

Aero: I'm not certain, but this Thieth guy you've described... I could have sworn I've already beat him before. Doesn't sound
like the threatening type...

DeckuZora: Anthony smirked. He gazed lazily at Aero, "If I remember all your introductions, you're Aero, right?
The boy sat up a little to get his weight off his chest, "I heard about that from some of Thieth's peons. 'm'not sure how
reliable their information is but apparently Thieth is testing people to see how strong they are. He probably used weaker
pokemon then he is using today. I doubt that he wasn't trying to beat you though," Anthony let out a deep sigh, "I fought him
just today. B****rd knocked me out. He thinks he's makin' some kinda perfect world... a utopia. He's just makin' a mess though.
Something for people like us to clean up."
Anthony bit his lip. He popped a sitrus berry into his mouth like candy though the berry is very sour. He felt in his pocket a
bit more.
"Aw carp! I'm out of berries!" He sighed again. He then turned to the other trainers in the room, "Hey, can one of you get me
to the pokemon center? I left my extra clothing and food there... not that I have much food anyway."
The kids looked at each other uncertainly. Wasn't exactly the best time to go out for a stroll. And the pokemon center was
across the city by some 100 meters.
Anthony grabbed a fallen branch from a tree and used it to help himself up. He wobbled slightly, trying his best to even
footing. Then he walked towards the door.
"If you guys aren't coming, forget it," he said, "I can fend for myself well enough to make it." He yawned, scritched his head
and called out, "I'll be back in like 20-30 minutes, 'k?" He left the building.

BonzaiRob: "A utopia? Oh dear." said Aaron. He looked at Calleo. "We'd know, wouldn't we? If he knew..."
"Yes, I'm sure we would know." said Calleo. "Besides that, the desert would have changed, and we'd definitely notice that."
"Yeah, right."
He noticed the young trainers looking at them in puzzlement.
"I can't tell you much, but Bombur itself is definitely safe for the moment. However, Bastion isn't. I'd better go and catch
up to Anthony. Call me if you need me, Calleo."
Aaron ran out after Anthony.

Shining ShinE: After Aaron had left, Calleo started to think of using his Gym as a base, as Aaron had suggested. It sure seemed
possible to him, and way safer than anywhere else in the city. Plus, the wild side in him slowly gained the upper hand. More
and more, he was liking the challenge that was now upon his home town. He would defend and restore Bastion City, especially
now that Aaron was here and trainers arrived to help out.

"Okay, four brave trainers, assuming you now know a little what is going on around here, I would ask from you to help me out."
Calleo said to Eric, Shira, Aero and Daniel.
The group felt honored by this request from the Bastion Gym Leader and agreed quite quickly.
"Okay, great, I'm very relieved to hear that," Calleo said.
"It seems best to me to stay inside the gym. We've got the vegetation around on our hand. Plant life is smarter than you might
think; as soon as they get a sense of evil intentions around, I'm sure we'll have some use of them. That spy is already wrapped
up in spines," Calleo grinned.

He then turned to Aero. "So, you have fought Thieth already? That's pretty good news. Do you think you could go to the room at
the front of the battlefield and stay on the lookout? You'll be able to recognize Thieth, and of course we need an alarm as
soon as anyone but Aaron approaches the gym. Perhaps one of your pokmon could hold them up long enough for us to take
appropriate measures," Calleo suggested. "I'll stay here with the others and send them to the battlefield once the need arises.
It's best if I stay out of the picture as long as possible. We need to catch Thieth by surprise, and I sure have some surprises
left," Calleo said, almost sounding enthusiastically.

Miravistel: Despite how dangerous the situation was, Shira began to join in Calleo's excitement. As she tried to think of how
she could help, she checked the status of her pokemon via her pokedex.

"If we end up getting in a fight, I may need some help," she said, "two of my pokemon haven't had much battle experience, and
one of them probably won't listen to me for a while." I hope I'm not overworking Meditite, she added to herself, I've been
relying on her to help with everything we've come across. Then she noticed some of her pokemon had learned new moves.

"My Meowth's learned Fake Out. Maybe I can have him hide somewhere, and in case an enemy pokemon tries to attack us Meowth
could surprise it with Fake Out, giving us enough time to defend ourselves. Though Meowth tends to be easily distracted by
shiny things, so I don't know how well he'd do at guard duty. She puzzled over that for a moment, then said, "And Meditite
learned Detect, so she might also be able to help us guard if needed."

DeckuZora: ((Outside))
Anthony was halfway down the road whe he heard footsteps behind him. He turned around and reached into his pocket for an extra
flare he had saved. He squinted into the smog as the figure approached. A white outfite shown through.
"Oh! Aaron! Sorry, I was about to launch a flare at you! Oops!"
Aaron looked at him, "again?"
"Um... What do yuh mean by again?" Aaron sighed.
"Nevermind. Let's get as close to the Pokemon Center as fast as we can. We don't wanna be..." His voice trailed off and he
groaned.
Anthony looked at him, "What was that? You trailed off."
"... caught in a crossfire." Aaron pointed around.
Anthony looked around them. They were surrounded by trainers. All had pokemon out. There was a Machoke, a Marshtomp, Scizor...
many outlandish others too.
"Oh great. Let's get on with it..." He pulled out a pokeball...
"GO!"

BonzaiRob: "Muhahaha, Fighting and Bug. Very nice. Trainers! I am a Bombur League Gym Leader! I specialise in Flying-types!
I don't intend to give out badges today! Skarmory!"
"Skaaaar!" Skarmory appeared in a flash of light. It reared up and rattled it's bladed-feathers menacingly.
Some of the trainers turned and ran, but the larger and more stupid-looking stood their ground.
"No points for bravery today. Skarmory, Steel Wing that Marshtomp and then Air Cutter until there aren't any left!" Skarmory
took off and flew at Marshtomp with a noise like several knives being repeatedly sheathed and unsheathed in unison. It banked
shortly after, and sped along the ranks of Fighting-types.
In the resulting confusion, Aaron let out another, smaller pokémon.
"Koli!" Kolibuzz sparked happily.
"Koli, I need you to create as much confusion as possible. Use Supersonic on any enemy pokémon you see, Thundershock them
to get them angry, then fly around making some Sonicbooms. Use Agility to make sure they don't know what's happening! When
you're done, come find me with Skarmory."
"Koli, buzz!" Kolibuzz zipped away. There was a high-pitched ringing in Anthony's ears, and then a distant spark within the
smog. An angry roar followed, as the scene descended into chaos.
"Right. Let's go, Anthony."

DeckuZora: "That was handled very quickly," remarked Anthony, "Go Nevermore!" Nevermore appeared out of it's pokeball.
"Nevermore, I need you to be above us and alert us on any approaching trainers." He threw another pokeball.
"Divertide, I need you to watch Nevermore's back. If Nevermore's attacked, defend it until you can get away. We'll be back for
you."
With that, Anthony and Aaron turned and continued running. Every now and then, glimpses of other battles could be seen through
alleyways. Periodically, they had to stop and duck to dodge a misfired attack from some wild battle.
As they rounded the corner, Bastion's Pokemon Center loomed ahead. Around it stood several officers of the law. Anthony looked
at Aaron.
"I'm not sure if they'll let me in. I kinda snuck out while I was supposed to be in medical treatment." He looked sheepish.
"Yo gym leader," A man walked up. He glared at them.
"Um... Aaron. On second thought, lets just go in," Anthony looked around with such fear, that his eyes practically bulged from
their sockets.
"Trying to run, Anthony? That won't work and you know it."
"Anthony," Aaron asked, "Who's that guy? You know him?"
"Deduction skills! We should have given you a descrition of him! Aw geez. That man, the one with the red hair and eyes, is
the one who threw together this whole d*** party! Thieth! Let's just get in the center quickly!

Shining ShinE: Meanwhile in the Bastion Gym, preparation were in full process. Calleo was very happy with Shira's offer and
Meowth was now in position. Meditite stayed with them.
Eric kept Comolten and Mankey near, while Chipen had climbed in a tree on the battlefield, ready for an assault with its
infamous nuts. He had kept his other pokmon in their balls, they were simply lacking sufficient battle experience.

Calleo watched the trainers and grinned. They were rather smart; he might not even have to use his own pokmon if all went
according to plan.

As soon as Calleo was thinking this, though, Aero came running to the battlefield. After the call of the spying activities of
Thieth's little brother, villains were approaching.
"There's quite a lot of them!" Aero yelled. "It looks like they've come prepared!"
Calleo nodded. After all, the Gym was along with the Pokmon Center the last building in Bastion City not under criminal
control. Taking over the Gym was probably a high priority.
"Okay, let's take positions, everyone. Aero, what pokmon did you leave near the entrance?"

BonzaiRob: "You get inside, Anthony. It had to come to this sooner or later." Anthony looked at Aaron and saw that, unusually,
Aaron was genuinely angry. He went into the centre, but turned back to watch for a second.
"So, Thieth. I have to tell you, you're in over your head. How far did you think this could go? If you beat me, there are seven
more gym leaders. If by some amazing fluke, you beat all of them, there are four elite trainers. And if you beat them...
you're really in trouble. You don't know what sort of power this continent holds."If you give up now, you might get away with a
prison sentence. If not, it's only going to get worse."

DeckuZora: Thieth pulled out his sword, swung it a little, twirled it in his left hand and slipped it back lazily. He shook his
head as if to say no. He spoke.
"I really hate having to resay all this!" His voice was calm though rather high. Rather airy as well, "I don't care if I go to
prison. I didn't take a ship to Bombur to be punished but to be rewarded! The world is forsaken! If some sovereign being really
cared about us, he would've never let people like Team Snagem, Cipher, Team Rocket, and Team Magma to emerge. I say to you, I
am a holy being in comparison to God. You see, the beautiful world I'm making is a utopia! Where I will be king of a happy
people!"
He sighed, swung his head from staring up to looking directly at Aaron, "Let me see... I owe you for the injured aid and the
pokemon I stole, correct?
"Rather, let's see how you deal with this!" He pulled a pokeball from around his neck. He smirked, "So poor Calleo was testing
me? I thought I was testing him! So if the gym leaders are so powerful, let's see how long it takes you to beat this!" He
threw a pokeball and in a flash of white light, a towering creature emerged.
"Behold my pride and joy! One of my greatest captures from another land! Behold, Shiny Milotic!"

It's sparkling glory was revealed! The Pokemon looked down on the field.

((OOC: First, I can change this part if nessessary. Second, the Milotic knows Hypnosis, Surf, Ice Beam, and Recover. It is
lv 50- 86 depending on what you feel is appropriate.))

Aero: I only left my Ursaring at the door. I figured, with Guts he'd be a well-rounded match for whatever they throw at him.
And besides, I want to save Blastoise in case there's a REAL emergency...

BonzaiRob: "You have a strange definition of utopia if you have to hurt people to get it. A utopia is meant to be the best for
everyone, not just the people who didn't get internal bleeding.
"It ends here for you, Thieth. Go!" Aarion threw a pokball straight up into the air, hard.
It curved slightly as it rose, and for a moment it looked like nothing was happening, but this pokmon needed some space to
emerge.
The ball opened, and white light poured out, bigger and bigger, until it darkened and stopped moving.
The roar of Aaron's Obdraycere filled the sky.
"I was the one who discovered that Obdraycere are Wind types, not Flying." Aaron shouted above it. "This Obdraycere was the
first to ever be captured, and it has you at a type disadvantage. Are you ready, Thieth?"

Shining ShinE: "Okay, Aero, that sounds great. Please stay here at the battlefield where we have more space to fight them off
real good. But let's first see whether those villains can defeat your Ursaring. 'Cause if they can't, they're not worth the
trouble of actually fighting them in person," Calleo said.

At the front door five men had arrived by now. One of them seemed to lead the other four; he was slightly older and looked
stronger as well. He sent two of the four villains that were with him to the entrance.
"Open the door! I'm not in the mood for surprises," he told them.

DeckuZora: Thieth sighed. He swept hair from his eyes and looked at his opponent.
"Type differences don't matter here. For any pokemon I raise, I boost their evasive and speed stats to the maximum.
You'll have a hard time hitting them and they can attack sooner than you. How else do you think I'm able to stay ahead of
people? Oh. And about the people. So who got internal bleeding? That Anthony brat? Serves him right for trying to stop me.
Sacrifices are nessessary no matter how you look at it. You make a single decision and you're sacrificing the support of
millions. This is the same thing. People will have to be done away with. That fool, Giovanni. He disapeared didn't he? He said
the same thing as you after that Red kid beat him," Thieth's eyes danced like fire, "I remember his horrified look when I
pushed him into my Dusclops! Gone forever in a black hole!
"Now then, let's start! Milotic, Hypnosis!" The shiny, reflective scales of the already praised as most beautiful pokemon
gleamed. Hypnotic rays radiated from all directions. Obdraycere's eyes drooped slightly as it tried to stay awake.

Inside, Anthony darted round a corridor of the pokemon center. He had been admitted back in without question. He got to his
room and grabbed his bag. *click* He looked up to find a Jigancoil aiming sparks at his face. Behind it, the trainer smirked
as his eyes shown yellow.

As Aaron was about to send out his pokemon, his fellow trainer rushed out of the center backwards. He fell backwards down the
steps but that probably saved him as a Thunder attack surged through.
He looked at Aaron, "The pokemon center's been taken over! There's none of the citizens there!"
"How obeservant," a police officer called. *click**click**click**click* The trainer turned to see the police officers pointing
net-launchers at them.
Anthony looked at Thieth, "Spies?"
"No. Traitors. I love this place! Shows you how mesed up the world is!"

BonzaiRob: "Don't look, Obdraycere! Use Safeguard!" Obdraycere shook a little at Aaron's voice, and glowed silver for a moment,
as the net came down over Aaron.
"Anthony, I've got one last pokémon to use but I'd rather save it. I'm not about to send out Ledyba and Nevermore."
Let's hope we get lucky. Obdrayce-" he began to shout, but there was a piercing screech and something silver flashed past the
net, cutting a neat gash in it.
Aaron's Skarmory landed between Aaron and the traitorous police officers. One of them suddenly jolted and fell to the ground,
then another; Kolibuzz was Thundershocking them from behind.
"Great job, guys! Obdraycere! Hurricane attack!"
Obdraycere took in a great breath, and blew. Wind sprang up from nowhere, blasting everything in the street.

DeckuZora: Thieth smirked. This trainer obviously knew what he was doing. Milotic wouldn't be able to escape at all from that.
Unless...
"Aaron, do you know the law of science that if you hit a force with a force of equal or greater strength, the two will cancel
out? Milotic! Hydro Pump!"
Milotic sent out a huge blast of water. The storm met the water but instead of them canceling out, the storm became a water
cyclone. The thing about that was, the force of the blast sent the cyclone inching towards Obdraycere.
Anthony's Divertide and Nevermore appeared. They were apparently okay but seemed a bit scared. Anthony looked at them and
sighed. He returned Nevermore and looked at the officers who had let loose a Magneton, three Golbats, a Gligar, and a Machamp.
Kolibuzz was having some trouble with the Magneton, Machamp and Gligar in the way.
"Divertide, use Watergun on Gligars wings!" Gligar, being a ground-type, was hurt badly by the water. It's wings now wet,
it couldn't fly!
"Now Divertide! Vicious Suck!" Divertide jumped it's opponent and did it's half-tackle/leech life thing. Gligar fainted rapidly.
Kolibuzz had by now disposed of the Golbats and was taking the Machamp. The fighting pokemon couldn't hit the small hummingbird
but Kolibuzz couldn't get near enough to defeat it.
"Divertide, use Tackle on the Magneton!" Divertide's tackle sent Magneton sprawling across the floor.
Anthony smirked, "Have a nice 4th of July."
He lit a flare. FFFFFWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM! The flare went hurtling towards Magneton, Machamp and their trainers. They stood
wide eyed as the rocket came closer. Divertide and Kolibuzz made a run for it as Skarmory ducked into an alley.
BOOOOOOOOMMMM!!! The force sent Anthony flying back. It halted the other two battlers as well as the force hit them. The police
officers and their pokemon were nowhere to be seen.

BonzaiRob: The explosion also interfered with the water cyclone that was headed towards Obdraycere, sending it back Thieth's way.
"Obdracere, help it along with Dragonbreath!"
Obdraycere took another deep breath, but this time green flame emerged from its mouth. This went into the cyclone, and rather
than the water putting it out, it seemed to be strengthened.
"Equal force, you say? We're in air, not water, Thieth!"

sleep hit the cyclone, it broke into sound. Sound directed straight to Obdraycere!
"In a battle, the winner isn't the strongest, Aaron!" Thieth broadened a gin, "In a battle, the winner is the last one standing!"

Unknown to Thieth, Anthony had run back to the gym. His bandages on his sides started to ooze blood as the scabs tore open. The
gym rose ahead. Almost there! he thought, almost there..! What the-? He saw a Meowth perched in front of the gym.
Ohh! I sure hope that Meowth belongs to one of the other trainers!

BonzaiRob: Aaron backed off a bit. "Obdraycere! Cloud Call!"
Obdraycere rumbled, and lowered down enough for Aaron to scramble aboard. It took off again, a cloud forming underneath it.
"Dodge that cyclone!"
There were some more rumbles from inside Obdraycere, this time from gasses mixing within it. It rose sharply, high above the
cyclone.
"Hydrogen Gun that Milotic!"
Obdraycere reared back and fired bursts of air quickly down.

Shining ShinE: Meanwhile, at the Bastion Gym, Aero's Ursaring was soundly whooping the two thugs that were sent to the front
door of the gym. Their leader facepalmed when he witnessed the two being smashed aside by Ursaring and afterwards being rewarded
with a nice amount of scratches from Meowth.
"You two, go to the back entrance!" he sneered to the other two thugs.

As the two of them were heading to the back, Calleo noticed the plants in his Gym suddenly all facing another direction the one
to the back of the Gym. He looked out a window and noticed the two criminals.
"Eric, Shira, quickly, head to the backdoor! They're trying to encircle us. I'll stay in the center with Aero," Calleo ordered.

Eric began to run to the back, firmly grabbing hold of Comolten's pokball. Shira was sure to follow...

DeckuZora: Anthony raced further. He saw people walking 'round.

AeroGP: Aero gave a huge sigh. If the criminals were comming from the other side, that meant Ursaring had done a poor job at
scaring them off, and that dissapointed Aero.

He pulls out his other pokeball and stares at it for a moment.

Aero: Alright, I guess you'll have to take care of this, buddy...

Blastoise came rushing out of the pokeball. Interestingly enough, it was wide awake this time and stood face forward in front of
Aero, ready to intercept any attack that might come their way.

Aero: So you understood then? Alright, begin defensive maneuvers!

BonzaiRob: The Hydro Pump going up met the Hydrogen Gun going down. While the Hydro Pump was more powerful, the Hydrogen Gun had
gravity on its side.
Something interesting started to happen, however. The Hydrogen went down through the Hydro pump. There was a chemical reaction,
and both attacks became charged with electricity. (Google it if you're interested).
The Hydro pump hit Obdraycere, and Aaron. It hurt, but Wind is not weak against Electricity, and Dragon resists it. Obdraycere
shrugged the Electricity and Water off, though Aaron ended up slightly charred.
However, at the same instant, the Hydrogen Gun also hit. Water is definitely weak against Electricity.

((Note that I didn't say what it hit, although some serious reality alteration would be required for it to miss Milotic.))

Shining ShinE: Calleo and Aero were firmly in defensive positions, ready to take on any intruder from either the front or the back.
When finally someone was approaching, though, it wasn't any intruder, but Eric and Shira instead, both completely out of breath.
"They've... they've taken Daniel," Eric managed to bring out.
In all confusion, Calleo quickly tried to remember who Daniel was, but soon remembered the boy with the Pengyn. This sure
complicated matters.
"Aero, stay put. We don't know how long your Ursaring will keep them out. I'll be right back," Calleo said to Aero.

Calleo ran back with Eric and Shira to the back door, hoping to find outside any clue of where the villains were heading with
Daniel, but as soon as they arrived near the door voices of at least eight more criminals could be heared...

DeckuZora: Anthony watched hopelessly as more trainers converged on the gym. This was bad. He decided he had to test his luck and
scaled a ladder on a nearby building. At the top, he positioned himself directly before the gym's open rooftop.
Hell... I can't believe I'm gonna do this! Hoping that he wouldn't be attacked by pokemon below, he jumped.

Thieth watched as Milotic fell to the ground. He muttered, "worthless" to himself and cursed. Aaron watched him unforgivingly as he
checked his now fainted pokemon. He then looked at Aaron's. It was hurt but not enough to be called out. The Milotic did put up a
decent fight but Thieth didn't think so.
He returned Milotic to it's pokeball and then tossed the pokeball into the broken Jirachi fountain. The balls outer casing cracked
as it hit the marble. He then looked back at Aaron.
"I may have lost but I have no intention of going to jail. Unfortuneatly, I was unprepared for two gym leaders- I promise you I'll
have my best the next time we meet. I have accomplished my goals. I have found who really may be useful to me and who's just a
pitiful loser. The powerhungry will seek power regardless of what setbacks and losses occur. I can guarentee that at least three
of your precious wanabee trainers will join me and will help me squash those I deem evil. When that time comes, I will be the law.
Those who go against me are evil. They will be punished,"Thieth turned, " and rest assured, you are the first on my list." He
lept away with unnatural speed and left Aaron slightly confused.
In due time... thought Thieth to himself, ...in due time.

Anthony landed on his face in the gym floor. It was deserted which probably meant that the others were elsewhere. He groaned.
Sitting up as properly as possible, he checked over his new injuries. He had just added a nice broken arm and a rather sore bump
on his head.
And this is why I hate Mondays he said mentally as he got up to find the others.

BTW: Thieth may be gone but the criminals still have to be routed out of the city. Let's have fun with that!

In the fountain, the failsafe on Milotic's ball kicked in and released Milotic into the fountain. It hissed at Aaron, weakly, as he
approached.
"Ugh.. where's Calleo and his Sleep Powder when you need him..." Aaron ran through his pokémons' attacks in his head. Just
Safeguard, and that only worked if Milotic was already his pokémon.
"Use Recover, you stupid thing!" Milotic hissed again.
He skirted Milotic and picked up the ball. He clicked the button, but nothing happened.
"Bah." Aaron got out one of his own. "Kolibrisk!"
The yellow bird appeared, trailing sparks again. "Kolii!"
"Keep this Milotic safe, stay with it. I'll be back soon. Come find me quickly if it moves too far away."
"Koko!" Kolibrisk landed on Milotic's head. Milotic growled slightly, but didn't shake it off.
"Let's go, Obdraycere!" Aaron climbed back onto it, and they flew down the road to the gym.

Shining ShinE: Calleo looked around. They were encircled. The villains stood ready, some had released their pokmon already. There was
a Fearow, a Wartortle, a Boltweiler and a Machoke. Other still held their pokballs in their hands.
Then Calleo looked to the two trainers. Shira and Meditite stood firmly, as was Eric with Comolten and Mankey. Both looked a bit
nervous as well, though.
Calleo couldn't stop but feeling excited- and that was feeling was still growing. "Don't look so worried, young trainers! This is going
to be a fun battle!" Calleo yelled- partly out of excitement, partly to stay audible now that a wind was starting to blow.

Calleo tossed a pokball as well. "Go Abomasnow!" As the pokeball hit the ground, a figure emerged, its paws in the air, followed by a
loud roar. Not much later, snow started to fall, eventually changing into a full snow storm!
Calleo could notice the confused and frightened looks of the villains. He grinned. This was going to be fun...

DeckuZora: Cries were heard outside. Anthony, still clutching his arm, stumbled through rooms. He groaned as more and more rooms just
ended in dead ends.
It seems I've lost my barings... What's up with this?! He did not notice the Hypno standing on the ledge above him, luring him further
into the illusion.

Shining ShinE: Outside, the battle was in full swing, and Calleo was truly enjoying it. He liked using his stronger pokmon from time to
time, and doing so when it was really needed made him feel even more burning inside.

Eric was fighting the Machoke with Comolten, but had Mankey help out as well. He noticed Shira fighting the Wartortle with Meditite.
When it was needed, he would send Mankey to her. Then again, Calleo would probably be able to help out sooner. "Comolten, use Ember,
followed by Quick Attack!"

Calleo's Abomasnow had ended up fighting Boltweiler, Fearow and a Mismagius. Well, that was the situation until Abomasnow took care of
Fearow with a powerful Ice Punch. Two more to go... Calleo was thinking. He realized that if he ended this battle quickly enough, the
other villains would probably be too scared to join in the battle with their pokmon.
"Abomasnow, let's make it a bit colder out here! Use Blizzard!"

DeckuZora:"AAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" Anthony lept back as the giant flaming demon came at him again. Panting heavily, he leaned against a tall
stack of barrels. Hypno, who was creating this illusion, tumbled as the barrels it stood upon collasped.
HYYYYYYPNO! The illusion broke and Anthony saw the psychic pokemon attempt to scurry away like mad.
"Oh no you don't..." He jumped forward and slide-tackled the running pokemon, "THIS IS PAYBACK FOR WASTING MY TIME!!!"
A trainer jumped to stop him, "Things are getting too rough with that gym leader around. A helpless kid like you should be easy pickings.
Come on Hypno, we tried illusions, lets go offensive!"
Darn. I can't battle him, my last pokemon is Livops and it's not strong enough to win this! Anthony groaned and tried to stand up.
"Hey... Wait a second! Your that kid by the gate who attacked me! I thought my Onix took care of you! Well your really getting on my nerves,
Hypno use Psychic!" Tingling went through Anthony's body as he was lifted into the air, "Go ahead and crush him..."
Pressure pressed in. Lungs were squeezed empty. Bones cracked, blood oozed. He had to do something!
"Livops... G-go!"

AeroGP: "Blastoise, Hydro Pump!"

Twin beams of pressurized water come out of nowhere and hit Hypno, slamming it into the building walls and causing quite a shake.

Fast footsteps can be heard in the distance, the shadow of a young trainer and his pokemon. Anthony is able to identify them fairly quickly.

"What a trip." Aero saysin a dissapointed tone. "Calleo's going to come back and yell at us for moving from our stations, all because this
little jerk like to do magic tricks." He balls his hand into a fist and tightens it. "Well... let's show you our little 'magic trick'.
Blastoise... show them what we really think of them."

Blastoise begins to let out a huge yawn - the echo bounces all around the gym. Distracted by the sound, the trainer doesn't notice the
large bubble coming towards his Hypno...

DeckuZora: Hypno teetered as it's eyes grew heavy. It fell to the ground hard and went to sleep.
"Hold him off! I'll join you in a sec!" Anthony limped down the gym's hallway to get to the heal machine.
"Just try..." muttered the trainer, "Hypno, wake up and get rid of that Blastoise! Go, Onix!" Onix flew from it's pokeball and let out a
triumphant roar, "Onix, Luster Cannon! Don't let that kid escape!"
Onix charged a beam. It's maw opened wide as a wide-eyed Anthony tried to run.
Oof! He fell as his side split open and blood gushed out. He tried once to get up- failed- and hit the dusty floor.

BonzaiRob: Aaron was puzzled to find himself in a snow cloud as Obdraycere rose above the gym. Obdraycere struggled to ascend further as the
pressure dropped. It moaned slightly.
"Ok, ok. You've done really well today, thank you." Aaron stroked Obdraycere's side as he released Skarmory and got onto its back in midair.
"Return, Obdraycere." it dissolved into red light again.
Aaron and Skarmory descended, hidden within the snow, and landed neatly on the gym's roof.
"Air Cutter, let's get inside!" Skarmory swung its wing down and the roof crumbled. "I hope the gym's insured.." They dropped inside to see an
Onix release a Luster Cannon.
Aaron dropped from Skarmory. "Steel Wing then Iron Tail!"
Skarmory flew across Onix's face, causing it to roar with pain as Steel cut through Rock. Skarmory turned and smashed its glowing tail into
Onix's head, knocking it out.
"Crap!" The trainer started to run, but there was a Blastoise in the way. It grabbed him and picked him up.

DeckuZora: "Let go of me! You'll regret this! I swear!" He struggled to reach his pokeballs with little success.
Anthony got up, "Thanks you two... I needed that."
He then limped towards the door with the heal machine. Bing! Bing! The machine accepted the pokemon and healed them quickly.
"I think there are others outside. Shall we go help them?" Without looking, he headed to the door.

BonzaiRob: "Uh-uh. You're not going anywhere just yet. Siddown." Aaron picked an armful of Sitrus berries from the first Sitrus tree he found,
and handed them to Anthony.
"You're going to eat all of these. The first rule of battle is that a pokémon is out when it faints, and you should apply the same to
yourself. We'll go out when you've finished."

Shining ShinE: In the heat (or rather cold) of battle, Calleo had not noticed Aaron landing on (or rather cutting holes in) the roof of his
gym. He enjoyed the battle way too much. Abomasnow had just taken out Mismagius with a powerful Wood Hammer and, indeed, the other trainers
chickened out after the power display of the gym leader.
Calleo ordered Abomasnow to launch another Blizzard on its remaining foe, Boltweiler. "I can take it from here, brave trainers. Please go
inside the gym, where it's safe and, well, warm," Calleo laughed.
Eric nodded, relieved, and he and Shira went back inside to check how Aero was doing. They were in for a surprise when they not only found
Aero, but Aaron and Anthony as well...

DeckuZora: Anthony choked a bit when the other trainers came in. He was a bit embarrased to be seen in such a pitiful state. Aaron hit him on
the back a few times so he could breathe. Anthony finished the berries.
"I'm... fine I think... Give me a minute to clear my head." He got up and moved uncertainly towards a dark corner of the room. There he sat
down and made a deep growning sigh.
Eric and Shira looked questioningly towards Aaron and Aero. Things like how they got in and why a trainer was nailed to a wall by Blastoise
were going through their heads.

Shining ShinE: Calleo's fight ended sooner than he expected. The villain's Boltweiler proved no match for the gym leader and his Abomasnow.
Calleo looked around. No one was anywhere near the Bastion Gym. Now they're probably hiding in the city...

Calleo walked back inside his gym. He was happily suprised to see Aaron again. "Hi Aaron! Glad you're back!" Then he noticed the trainer that
was struggling against Blastoise's grip. "Heh, you guys have had fun, so it seems."
When he noticed a ray of light that wasn't supposed to be there, he gazed upwards. He blinked. "Aaron! What have you done?!" Calleo was
smirking as to what Aaron's reaction would be after his over-dramatic out-burst over his roof.

BonzaiRob: "Hehe, yeah.. I'm used to open roofs." Aaron looked embarrassed. "Couldn't find an opening. Sorry. Do you mind if I..?" Aaron went
to the healing machine and placed his own pokémon on it.

DeckuZora: Anthony watched on from the corner. He felt sore all over but certainly wasn't gonna admit it. The berries had worked wonders
though. ... So what's the deal? Is this finally over? Anthony sighed and watched a growing mock-arguement about the roof begin to take root.

Shining ShinE: "Oh yeah. Always with your head in the clouds, eh Aaron? Surely that doesn't mean you have the right to get rid of my roof so
you can keep your head cloudy even inside my Gym." Calleo said, mocking Aaron. The latter had by now realized Calleo was only joking.

The Bastion Gym Leader walked over and placed a seed in the ground. It didn't take long before a plant sprouted, and shot in the sky. The
hole in the roof was now covered in vegetation. The others looked curiously to Calleo. "Those are seeds that the Magic Bean move uses. I have
stored some of them in my Gym; they can be quite handy from time to time," Calleo explained, quite enjoying speaking of all matters of
plant-life.

After having listened to all that, though, Eric decided to speak up. "So, uh... have we managed to get rid of Bastion City's threat now?"

DeckuZora: Anthony looked up and muttered, "We only have a few low-lever grunts to deal with now. Someone should gather the remaining trainers
and bring them here. I'm sure that if we combed the town according to sector, we'll uproot the nasty weeds." He coughed up a little blood that
had slid from under his hair and into his mouth, "Even if Thieth has fled, the thugs'll remain in search of payment. Be sure that they'll not
leave until they *coughs again* have enough cash to buy them a ticket away from here. Who wants to be caught involved in this mess right?"
The others stared at him somewhat quizzically wondering how he had thought all of that up.
Anthony turned bright red when he realized his mistake and decided he had better leave before they got too many ideas. He stood up.
"I'll go look for the other trainers, I can stand now. Those berries should be taking effect. He threw out a pokeball and out popped an Aipom.
"Aipom, go out and gather any trainer you find and lead them back to the gym." Aipom looked frightfully outside but did as it was told.
Anthony then threw three others. Out came Ledyba, Nevermore and Divertide.
"Ledyba and Nevermore, you are flying in standard two by two position with Divertide and me. Am I clear?" All three nodded, "Good, me and
Divertide'll take flank position. You two are to spot for any survivors." The word sent a chill down Anthony's back. Survivors... Not a word
he wanted to use.
He turned back to those in the gym, "When Aipom gets back, tell it where we went and have it continue what it's going to do. The sooner we do
this the better." With that, the four left.
As Anthony walked down the road he thought to himself, Heh, this is goodbye for a while... Once we find Aipom again, we're out o here. I've
got an annoying redhead to catch.

Back by the lab where he was watching new trainers head out, Thieth sneezed. Hiding quickly he watched as the trainers passed. They hadn't
heard. Thinking of some Japanese lore, he thought to himself, Who is talking about me?

Shining ShinE: While Anthony had left the Bastion Gym, Eric, Shira and Aero had stayed. Calleo had offered them a place to sleep inside the
gym - the bed they had rested on were so soft, they all had slept very well the past few nights; in fact so well, that Eric and Aero didn't
even mind the pink flowery fashion the beds looked like. Even though parts of the city were still being rebuilt and some criminals were still
being hunted down, the three trainers started to feel at ease once more. They felt like they were ready to resume their journey.

As he woke up one morning, Eric was surprised to see Calleo stand in the sleeping room. "Goodmorning, friends," Calleo said. "I've got a
fruity breakfast for you."
Once the three trainers had finished their meal, Calleo appeared again. "Well, if you guys feel like it, the gym's ready again for an official
gym battle," the leader said.
Eric looked at Shira and Aero. He agreed that it was about time they got going again. "Shira, Aero, would either of you like to go first?"

Shining ShinE: The woodworker wasn't sure to be glad or heavily disturbed by Thieth's command to Sagittorso. He sure was glad he had
met with his friend back in Bastion.
The body of Mosslus proved highly flexible, causing Sagittorso a lot of trouble with hitting its foe and not Huck. Not shortly
afterwards, three more Mosslus jumped on Sagittorso's back, trying to cover him in a grassy type of gooey.
As Thieth stood by, he suddenly felt something pointing at his back - something that felt like a thick branch. As he slowly turned
around, he stood eye in eye with a Mosstrous...

DeckuZora: "What the devil-?" Thieth, reached into his pocket and pulled out a second pokeball. " Let's go, Howlunar!" The pokeball
burst as a giant wolfish pokemon made its devastating appearance in the forest clearing. "Howlunar, use howl and follow with a
Close Combat!" ////// Thieth's pokemon: Missoto lv 37, Sagitorso lv 30, Howlunar (replacing Milotic *) lv 35, Milotic* lv 20 (tossed
into Jirachi fountain when deemed worthless), Tyrantorch lv 32

Shining ShinE: Sagittorso, in the meanwhile, was completely covered with Mosslus, and so was Huck. With Thieth distracted by
Mosstrous, the Mosslus were starting to drag the woodworker an Thieth's pokémon to surrounding bushes.
After Howlunar's Howl, the large Mosstrous executed a Tree Smash, after which Howlunar countered with Close Combat. The exchange of
damage was enormous and sounded like an explosion...

DeckuZora:"Tch, Howlunar, use Moonlight and follow with a Counter Attack!" The moon grew closer to earth and Howlunar's eyes glowed.
It's wounds healed as it became bigger and more vicious. The wrecked clearing was slowly filled by the growing wolf. Thieth looked
over for Huck and Saggitorso. Spotting the latter 's claw slip beneath the bush, he let out a bitter shriek of hatred as curses spewed
from his mind. He pulled out yet a third pokeball, "Tyrantorch, use Eruption! I don't care what happens now, I MUST HAVE THAT HM!"

Shining ShinE:Huck, even in his uncomfortably position, had kept his eyes at his travelling companion. Only now he had come to realize
that the boy was obsessed with getting what he wanted, and that he was ready to go to the extreme. He had not wanted to get involved
in the battle up till now, but he started to worry about the environment, and even the - since they were acting as nature wanted them
to act - innocent Mosslus. He was ready to release his pokémon from its pokéball, to end what was going on. Before he had the chance,
though, he failed to notice an incoming Branch Blow from a second Mosstrous, got hit on his head and was knocked outconscious.

Tyrantorch had in the meanwhile cause massive destruction all around him, effectively scaring off all Mosslus that were near. Those
Mosslus, however, opted to help out their fellow species with battling Howlunar. Thieth's strategy of Close Combat proved to be the
wrong choice, as the Mosslus loved to get close and managed to leech upon Thieth's pokémon. Now Howlunar, too, was down on the ground
and Mosslus were ready to drag him away.

DeckuZora: Thieth gritted his teeth. He was itching to strangle whatever force was ruining his luck. "Saggitorso, bring the man to me"
Turning on the spot, "Howlunar, return!" A flash of light and Howlunar was extracted from the green mass. He paused and glanced at
Tyrantorch.
Deeming it too dangerous to try to return it, he withdrew from the scene, Saggitorso and Huck close behind. ----- Tyrantorch roared it's
defiance as it was overwhelmed and dragged below. The Mostrous and it's kin slowly engulfing it. Suddenly a flash of white light shot
forth! "Let's go, Lenoir, Divertide!" Two large stage 1 Pokemon appeared. Divertide immediately lept onto the Mostrous and began it's
VICIOUS SUCK while Lenoir bombarded the Mosslus with an amazing display of it's PECK and FAINT ATTACK abilities. Anthony emerged into
the clearing to witness the shocking scene. The events of Bastion replayed on the back of his head. No longer was he cheerful and
ambitious but rather cold... efficient... and vengeful. He had seen Thieth just as he left with Huck. [i]How could someone ever just
leave his pokemon to be defeated? And what does he want with Huck." As rage filled him, he pulled out two more pokeballs. "Go, Digglett,
Ledian!" To these, he gave the instructions, "If there is any trouble, both of you attempt to find me. Ledian, your SUPERSONIC should be
perfect for locating me. These things can't burrow or fly. Use that to your advantage when you attempt your escape. Otherwise, just
provide ranged support to Lenoir and Sukus. MAGNITUDE and SUPERSONIC will be great here." With that, he turned and dashed after the
fleeing pokemon thief.

Shining ShinE: What Anthony hadn't expected, but Huck had known all along was that the Mosslus only attacked visitors in search of food.
Humans were carrying lots of it most of the time. Now that all humans were gone, most Mosslus did not see the need to continue fighting
and slowly withdrew after the attacks of Divertide and Lenoir. With the exception of one Mosstrous, which apparently enjoyed Lenoir's
Pecking. The big, green pokémon was giggling after each attack Lenoir landed with its beak. It didn't take long before Anthony's four
pokémon were introducing themselves to the Mosstrous and Tyrantorch, which was fresh on its feet again.


((OOC: With Huck still unconscious, I can't really comment on what's happening with him and Thieth. I'll have him wake up in the next post,
though. It's also up to you to decide whether Mosslus and Tyrantorch will join Anthony's team, I guess ^-^))

DeckuZora: ((You read my mind ^^; I was indeed planning on getting in Tyrantorch and Mosstrous and a couple Mosslus too if I can))

It's that no name brat again! Thieth, although moving at a near-blinding speed, was slowly being overtaken by Anthony, That kid's fast,
I'll need to do something about him.
He quickly drew his last untouched pokeball, "MISSOTO! CRUSH HIM!!" The Evergreen Pokemon burst from the orb and landed on a tree branch
with a resounding thud. The pokemon suddenly disappeared; blending perfectly into the undergrowth. Thieth knew Missoto would throttle
whatever came it's way and its green camouflage made it perfect for an ambush. All he had to do is wait to hear the boy shriek in pain.

Meanwhile, with Ledian leading, a VERY odd herd of pokemon were crashing through the forest. A Divertide, Lenoir, Digglett, Mosstrous,
3 Mosslus who were unwilling to leave behind their larger family member, and a Tyrantorch. As they mowed down shrubbery, they spotted Anthony.
He was finally slowing down; the undergrowth finally taking its effect. Cuts from twigs and thorns, mud all over his sneakers, dirt and
bruises up and down his arms where he must've fell... He was a mess. They rushed towards him but as they did, a pair of awkward, thick green
arms shot out of the trunk of a tree and grabbed the boy by his ankles where he dangled, suspended, by a grinning Missoto.

Shining ShinE: Under the arm of Saggitorso, Huck slowly waked up. "Uhw..." He was feeling quite nautious and was longing for a place to sit
down. He wasn't as young as all those trainers, after all. "Are we still running from the Mosslus?" he managed to bring out. "Let's go to my
wooden cabin, it's just behind those trees over there," Huck said with his perfect sense of location, "and it's placed and fabricated so that
it is completely invisible for any predator or persecutor."
These words from the woodworker sounded like soothing chimes of the pokémon whose name starts with them to Thieth's ears...

DeckuZora: ((A wild guess... Chimecho?))
Thieth gave his consent to Saggitorso and the three touched down. Looking back, Thieth muttered in a barely audible whisper, "Soon Anthony.
I haven't given up on making you my follower yet."
Anthony meanwhile, slowly losing his conscience, struggled against Missoto who had decided that it was better to hold the boy in a bear hug
after receiving a well aimed punch to it's snout. The boy was slowly suffocating as air was squeezed from his lungs. KSSHKSSSOOO Divertide
leapt forth, eager to rescue it's trainer. it latched onto the grass pokemon and immediately initiated VISCOUS SUCK. Missoto staggered under
the weight of Divertide's two bodies as the monster leeched its health. It's grip loosened and Anthony came free, gasping for breath. It fell
to it's knees as its health was drained. MEEESOTO Using the strength that remained, it summoned vines from below the earth that struck
Divertide. The VINE WHIP effectively knocked Divertide off. Missoto charged, it's arm raised to release devastation. Divertide suddenly
glowed. A blue light hovered faintly over the pokemon. It's features began to change. Where two heads were, there was now one ferocious one.
It grew and with one final flash, Divertide was gone. It was no longer Divertide but... MYRWAAAAAAAAAHHHTH
Anthony blinked and then, realizing it had evolved, checked his pokedex. (insert Myrath pokedex)

Shining ShinE: ((Chimecho indeed. I was feeling very poetic when typing that ;P))

As Thieth looked outside through the window of Huck's cabin, the woodworker dragged himself to a chair to rest. Thieth was already scanning
the cabin for places where the HM he was looking for could be hidden.
All of a sudden, though, Thieth noticed a couple of snowflakes falling before his eyes, and they weren't falling outside. Within no time, an
intense blizzard was raging through the cabin. Perplexed as to what was happening, Thieth wildly looked around the cabin and noticed that
Huck was missing. Only a second afterwards his eye fell on an Abomasnow, and next to the large pokémon stood Bastion City's Gym Leader,
Calleo.
"Why, hello! What a coincidence, right?" Calleo shouted above the noice the blizzard produced.

DeckuZora: Thief immediately reached for Tyrantorch's pokeball before realizing it was empty. He cursed wildly and reached for Howlunar,
thwarted again by pokemon's lack of health. He could only rely on Sagitorso which was his weakest by a devastating amount and would have no
chance in battle against an Abomasnow. He instead drew his katana and held it up in the blistering wind. 3...2...1. He charged at the gym
leader with deadly accuracy of the watojutsu (chinese sword tech) but interrupted suddenly by an enraged yell from the door of the cabin.
There stood Anthony, pokeball in hand.
"Go Tyrantorch!" The giant dinosaur appeared in a blaze of light and made itself known. It stood outside the cabin, prepared to attack if the
madman attempted to escape. Thieth looked at the sheer irony of the situation. Then, he began to laugh. It was not a laugh as one does when
they are happy. No, it lacked all human emotion and made blood freeze. A cold, unfeeling laugh. The group gathered watched the red haired
menace, unsure of what to do. His laughter suddenly became a snarl and he tore himself towards a window. Tyrantorch reacted immediately but
didn't expect 6 foot tall, spiked vines to shoot from the ground. A battered Missoto had come forth to protect his master. Thieth then stepped
on a large leaf, which began to move upward as the vine grew. The criminal was escaping.
"Thieth, get back here!!" Thieth turned and looked back down.
"My name isn't Thieth. That's just something the media came up with. I am Cain. Cain Songsun. The man who shall purge this world of all evil."
At this, Anthony was stunned, "'The man who shall purge this...' huh? Aren't you evil yourself?"
The man, Cain that is, replied, "No... I am JUSTICE! This world that was forsaken by God and purity is what is evil. I am the only one who can
make this world right!"
Cain's twisted logic was now revealed.[][][][][]

Shining ShinE: "To be honest, I liked the name Thieth better," Huck dryly commented.

DeckuZora:Cain shrugged. He would deal with their insolence in due time. He had failed to get the HM he was after but he had other ways of
acquiring the item. He turned and said, "There are two sides to every coin, and although they are different, they are both the same. There
is no definite line drawn between good and evil. The side that triumphs in this perverse world is good, the side the fails is evil. That is
the disgusting nature of things. You all say I'm as evil as any other syndicate. Lies, I shall be above you all and be the ultimate form of
justice, deciding who is good and who is evil. I will be watching and waiting... Biding my time from the shadows." With that, Missoto pulled
him away. Angrily, Anthony dashed out the door to chase the man. He got two steps outside when a tremendous blast knocked him back. Blocking
his way were several Bricket and a Knightmare. Close behind were three new trainers. (insert dexes)

BonzaiRob: As the vine moved up into the trees, there was a sound like scissors shearing through paper. A Skarmory burst from the high foliage,
ripping leaves off as it went with Steel Wing. It slashed the vine carrying Cain, but not deeply enough to sever it. However, the leaf began
to sway violently.
There was a huge roar, which Cain and Calleo recognised immediately; in the small patch of clear sky above, a large dragon came into view.
The Skarmory flew up to it, and picked Aaron from its back, and the two flew down together.
"So, Thieth, you're a wanted criminal for theft, GBH, pokémon abuse, and a few other things. Are you going to come quietly?"

Shining ShinE:Not about to give up that easily, Calleo had followed Cain on the ground below. He was relieved when he heared Obdraycere's roar,
as the magic vine had moved very fast. Now it had stopped and instead its leaves were swaying.
Upon reaching Aaron and Cain, Calleo's Abomasnow made quick work of Missoto with a well-aimed Ice Punch. After that, Calleo released a second
pokémon. "Kapacrown, use Vine Whip to tie Thieth up!" Kapacrown jumped up and released vines from near its claws, which were flung straight
to Cain.

Back in Huck's cabin, Anthony and the woodworker were left alone, facing sudden new opponents. "Are those friends of yours?" Huck asked
with a sarcastic undertone.

DeckuZora: Cain screamed his indignation. He hacked his way through the vines and then quickly withdrew Missoto. He pulled out a strange,
black orb from his pocket. It appeared to be a trump card. He threw it at a nearby, docile, Heracross and the orb opened up and heracross
disappeared in a flash of dark aura. He then withdrew a TM, and a small device that had a slot similar to that on the pokedex, toggled some
options and then faced the two gym leaders.
"I never wanted to be forced into using this. Not without some added insurance but you fools have brought this upon yourself. Do you know what
this is?" He raised the orb of swirling murky energy. The two gym leaders had not encountered such a strange object before and didn't answer.
Cain cracked into a broad grin.
"This is a dark ball ((OOC: Idea taken from the 4th pokemon movie)). It's a very rare item that few people know about, and fewer still are
willing to craft it. Any pokemon that is contained within this ball is tainted by the balls ability, and it's IVs are raised to their highest
for it's level. They say a pokemon that is captured with a dark ball is very hard to control - let's see if this is true." He rethrew the
ball and Heracross reappeared... only it was 3 times it's normal height, and a dark aura hung around it. Its healthy blue body was now a
sickly green in color and it's horn appeared to be snapped in places, creating razor sharp edges.
"Heracross, use Hyper Beam!!" ((OOC: The TM))

Meanwhile, Anthony and Huck dodged blow after blow as Knightmare's axe fell. The Bricket hopped everywhere, bouncing off walls like stone
cannonballs making the small cabin feel even more like a dodge-ball arena.
"This has gotta end!" Anthony called to the woodcutter, who looked quite winded from all the hopping. "Let's mop the floor with these
weaklings, Myrath, Digglett, Ledian, Aipom!" The four pokemon burst into the chaos.
"Myrath, Bubblebeam!" Myrath shot the rock-hard bubbles out, and the Bricket ended up colliding with them, and landing as if hit with a can
of bug-spray. As the dust settled, the Bricket began to recover.
"Take command of Digglett, and Ledian for me. It's difficult to order around four pokemon at once!" With that, Anthony tossed over his
pokeballs, "this is just a loan, I expect those back. If you have any pokemon you can think of, get them out now!" As Anthony said this,
the three trainers were joined by 2 more. Two Chesset made their entrance on the board. The King and Queen stood regally in the middle of
the cabin. ((OOC: In regards to the featured post: I wanna keep the dark ball idea but let's think how we shall make this a little less...
um... crazy. Right? The above has been edited for your satisfaction))
(Excerpt from Chapter 14: Revelation, p1-5)

(OOC: Yay! About time~! Just kidding) Cain watched as the Flamethrower engulfed Heracross, he thought of recalling the bug, but as the flames passed, an angry Heracross emerged, several angry burns but it hadn't had nearly the effect it should have from use of an endure. Heracross charged towards the Fire/Grass Pokemon with great agility, one of it's arms went up and the bug powered up its Mega Punch. With a bellow, it flung itself forward, missing Brandle by inches and, with an earthshaking crash, left a 200 meter in diameter crater in the bedrock and soil of the forest floor. Turning around angrily, it then readied a Reversal move. It lowered it's horn and prepared to inflict deadly damage upon it's foe. Cain, unsure what to do, simply stared. Missoto, regaining consciousness, slowly snaked it's Vines toward Calleo's legs. The grass Gym leader of Bombur, although specializing in the type, appeared to not have noticed.

((Few minutes before))
"Myrath, use your Vicious Suck on the Queen Chesset, Diglett, use Magnitude, Tyrantorch, Earthquake!" Myrath, used to it's team-mates Earth-type attacks, leapt into the air as the pokemon and trainers were barreled over with tremors and quakes before delivering it's mighty maw upon Chesset's head. Anthony felt his knees rattle with the shake. Florabloom, however, remained unharmed in the sky... Until Heracross' stray Hyperbeam came it's way. It missed, but put the bird pokemon on edge. Seeing that the flying pokemon would require some assistance in the sky, Anthony also unleashed Ledian and Lenoir. His whole team minus Aipom was now in the playing field.

The King Chesset angrily shook it's sword and beckoned the Brickets to beat Myrath off. Then, the Knightmare went after Tyrantorch.

HERRA! The Massive bug pokemon shot forward, Reversal in full swing but pulled around sharply as wind-blades rained upon it. It responded with another hyper beam, the blast was devastating as the pockets of air burst and wind swept back. The trainers had to cover their ears at risk of deafness. HERRA!!! Heracross flew towards it's new target, arriving inches in front, CROSS!!!! Despite a severe type-disadvantage, it launched a Brick Break, the point blank range however, made even a flying type have to be swift with it's dodge.
