Okay, I am the new PFL Administrator and will take over Bonzai's role over the RPG's. To continue where he left off I have read the topic Hero of Darkness and have a few things to point out.

Point #1: No Shadow Pokemon can talk, not even the legendaries, if they were turned into Shadow Pokemon then they can only say "Revenge!" There is a reason behind this, which you discover as you progress through the RPG.

Point #2: No Legendary Pokemon are aloud in the RPG without any of the Staffs consent. And there are definitely no Legendary Pokemon from the other regions in Bombur, so no Jirachi, no Cresselia, or any of the others. Bombur has its own Legends that protect it from danger, such as Shadow Pokemon, and those are controlled by the staff.

Point #3: As regards to the Legendary Pokemon, there is a reason they called Legendary. They are so mysterious and powerful that many humans and Pokemon regard them as myths. They might know about the myths, but only a seldom few have seen any of the Legendary Pokemon in their lifetime.

Point #4: No legendary items. The same rule for Legendary Pokemon applies here.

Point #5: Everyone has his/her own character and the rules are that you are only allowed to control the characters that Bonzai has approved for you. From now on I would like this to be in affect.

Okay guys, I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but from reading your story, there are a lot things that need to be changed. I understand that several of you have worked hard on this topic, but you need to understand that this is an RPG not a FanFic. The difference is that an RPG already has a storyline, a storyline set up by the staff, and as such you are a player that reacts to how the story unfolds. The staff (me especially) will keep you on track. Now we allow for some leeway as to what happens, but we don't allow you to change the story in its entirety. The Legends from Sinnoh, Kanto, Hoenn, and Johto will not be allowed in the RPG because they just don't come here. As a result the orb idea doesn't work. It plays into a whole destiny thing that is cliche. You start out as ordinary Pokemon who get caught up in a huge mess, and you need to work together with other members and the Staff to find out what is going on and to fix it. Read the topics I Sense a Disturbance in the Force and Eastwards, to the Cargan Desert! for a great example as to how creative people can be within a set story.

I know that all of you can come up with a story without bringing in Legendaries and items that make you super powerful. A truly epic story is one where characters have to overcome their weaknesses to achieve victory. I strongly recommend, as did Bonzai, in his review of Questing for the Frontier to look into reading some adult fiction. May I recommend J.R.R Tolkien for those fantasy fans out there and to anyone who wants great stories about deep, interesting characters.

You don't need to resubmit your characters as did MisterSmeargle and many others. They are fine as they are, but it is up to you. I recommend starting over again, but only because you story was so deeply embedded in legendaries.
