Again these two are just similar. Yes, they both have serpentine evolutions, and they always have that 'stupid' expression on their faces, but that's where the similarities end. Well, I guess that's true... but they are both a canine in some way and are single typed and have alot of speed. And Magmar and Electabuzz, who are, but what about Jynx? Is she in the group?

I'm pretty sure that Mr. Mime is a stand-alone. I've always thought of Electabuzz, Magmar and Jynx as counterparts. They all got prevolutions in the same generation, though Jynx didn't receive and evo in the fourth.

There is a spcial gropu of mammels called Monetremes. If you look in the link, you will see thier are only a few Monetremes in the world. Maybe the rest are Pokemon? (joke lol)

@JDLJDL: Take a look at Magnemite: it is part of the Mineral Egg Group, yet it is only capable of breeding with Ditto. The same will likely apply to most of the members of the Virtual Egg Group.

Take another look at Magnemite: It's genderless. So what you just said means most (if not all) of the Virtual Egg Group members are genderless.

And that would be odd? Magnemite is a magnet, hence it is genderless. I would imagine computer programming, raw code and whatnot to be genderless too. E-Mouse, for example, could probably have a gender. I can't see the Gigachyp line having one.
